   In this story, Gordie has invited (Y/N) to come over and stay for the night. (Y/N), wanting to get over her shyness, accepts his request feeling her heart flutter in her chest.
Disclaimer: This whole one shot will be in third person so if you don't like that I'm sorry lol.
    (Y/N) stretches and gets out of bed. She lets out a long drawn out yawn as she covers her face from the sun coming out of the window. It was extra bright today, which isnt very common in Chirchester. She smiles, knowing it will be just a bit warmer outside, however, her smile did not last. She doesn't leave the house much because she is extremely shy and today, she was going to go to Gordie's house and stay for the night. It wasn't that she was shy around Gordie, she was shy around people she didn't know. And there's a lot of people she doesn't know In Chirchester. She sighed and shrugged it off, simply hopping out of bed and taking some clothes from her wardrobe. A hoodie, with fluffy fur on the inside, a (f/c) scarf, some striped tights, some short shorts to go over the tights, and some boots with fur on the inside. She sighed and walked down the stairs, grabbing her bag. "Purr~?" (Y/N)'s mother's purloin cooed, cocking her head. (Y/N) smiles and kneels down, petting her head. "Hello, Lucy." She says standing back up straight. She opens the door and walks outside, closing it behind her.
    Already, (Y/N) could feel a few eyes staring her down, or at least she thought. She had terrible anxiety when it came to these things, she would think someone was staring at her, when really they weren't. She sighs and walks quickly away from her home, pulling out her phone. She looked at a map on her phone and saw that Gordie's house wasn't too far away. She sighed in relief and put her phone back in her bag, still walking quickly. Soon she made her way to Gordie's home, gently knocking on the door. She kept her gaze low as she waited for someone to answer the door. She jumped a little when the door opened and revealed Gordie, standing there and staring down at her. She looked up and blushed a little as his sapphire eyes pierced into her own (e/c) ones. "H-hello G-Gordie!" She stutters out, slowly waving her hand and giving him a closed eye smile. She was startled by the feeling of arms wrapping around her. Her face heated up as she heard his voice in her ear, "Hi, (Y/N)." He said with joy coating his voice. He let her go and smiled moving to the side. "Cmon in!" He said letting her into the house. She slightly buried her face into her scarf to cover her blush as she walked in. "Th-thank you." She murmured as he closed the door. "No, prob!" He said grinning.
      She smiled into her scarf and looked around, sitting down in one of the chairs in the house. "You have a very nice house, Gordie." (Y/N) said. Gordie smiles. "Thanks! Welp, make yourself at home! Oh, do you want anything to drink?" Gordie asks walking into the kitchen. "J-just some tea please." (Y/N) says turning to him a bit. He smiles back at her causing her to blush again. She looks away and looks down at the ground again. She sighs and feels her chest. Why can't I tell him...? It's not like it's hard. Why am I so shy all the time...I can't...I-I don't even know if he likes me back I- I don't even know if he likes me at all what- what if I tell him and I-it ruins our friendship w-what if I tell him and he never wants to talk to me again w-what if he likes someone else? W-What if- "(Y/N)?" Her thoughts were interrupted by Gordie calling her name. She jumped and looked up at him. "Your tea is ready." He said with a soft smile on his face. His eyes sparkled in the light of his home. (Y/N) blushed and freaked out a little. "O-oh! T-thank you." She said with a little whisper. She takes her tea from his hands gently and smiled, feeling the warmth on her hands. He takes a sip of his own tea and sits on the couch, putting the cup on the coffee table in front of it. (Y/N) walks over to a little basket by the tv and picks it up, seeing several movies inside, mostly action and horror. "A-Ah, can we watch a-a movie Gordie?" (Y/N) asks, turning to Gordie. "Ah, sure!" Gordie says walking up to her, "Which movie were you thinking?" Gordie asked looking in the basket. (Y/N) puts her hand inside and pulls out a random sci-fi movie. Gordie grins and looks at the cover of the movie. "Aw, yeah this is a classic! Let's pop it in!" He said eagerly. (Y/N) blushed and smiled putting the basket down.
     Gordie sits back down on the couch with (Y/N), her heart fluttered when her shoulder touched into his. The room was now dimly lit with only the TV lighting up the two and the room. The movie progressed as normal, Gordie said a few things about how he loved how the original movies of the series are great and the newer ones aren't as good. (Y/N) has never watched the newer ones, but she sort of understood what she meant. Even if she didn't, however, she still enjoys his company and his voice. Soon, around the middle of the movie, Gordie had fallen asleep and leaned his head against (Y/N)'s. She flushed a little but then settled in. She sorta enjoyed hearing his soft breath in her ears and the noises he made when he was dreaming. Suddenly, she heard him say something peculiar. "(Y/N)..." his voice was quiet and mumbly, as he was dreaming. She blushed a little as she heard her name. She instinctively hummed in response. "Th...there's somethin...I wanna tell...you." He whispered in his sleep. Her face flushed a little and she moved her head a little as if looking up at him. "H-huh?" She questioned. When she moved her head, she accidentally woke up Gordie. He hummed a little as he sat up, rubbing his eyes. The credits of the movie lit up the room but only a little since the background was black with stars. "H..hey." He said smiling a little bit. "Aw..must've missed the movie. It's fine...I can yawn watch it later." He said chuckling quietly. (Y/N)'s head told her not to say anything, but her heart spoke louder, beating out of her chest telling her to say something. "G-Gordie... w-what..." She took a deep breath to get all the shyness out of her. "What were you going to say?" Gordie halted a little, turning to (Y/N). His cheeks flushed only a little. "What?" He asked, trying to sound natural. "You were talking to me in your sleep and...I heard you say...you wanted to tell me something. So, what was it?" Gordie's eyes widened, not only at (Y/N)'s action, but at the fact that she heard all that. "I-I..." If I lie...I know she won't buy it...she can see right through me... Gordie let out a sigh and looked down at her, his sapphire eyes, once again looking into her own (e/c) ones. He took her own much smaller hands into his own bigger ones, holding onto them only a little. "I...I was gonna say...I l-love you..." He stuttered out. (Y/N)'s eyes widened and she smiled looking up at him. She could feel her eyes get wet as she leaned into his chest, wrapping her arms around him. For a second, he was afraid he did something wrong until she said. "Heheh...it's kinda dumb how I was too scared..to tell you the same thing..." Gordie's eyes widened at her confession to him. "I-I...love you too..." she said holding onto the back of his shirt. Gordie's lips parted in surprise, but then he smiled, wrapping his own arms around (Y/N). "F-for real?" He said into her ear. "Yeah..." She said burying her face into his chest.
