Recently, you had entered the gym challenge with your friend (BF/N). The only problem is that they basically begged you to get in with them and that's the only reason you did...well not the only reason. It turns out, (BF/N) wasn't your only best friend. Not many people know this, but you were good friends with the Champion himself, Leon when you were both younger. He was a few years above you in school but you both still had time for each other and got to know each other very well. It turns out he was one of the first people who came up to you in school since, well, you were too shy to. You always sorta isolated yourself from other kids and people in general until he showed up. He was so...assertive and lovely. You always felt like he warmed you up every time you saw him. Kind of like the sun. And the first thing that brought you two together was a simple, jolly "Hello!"
"(Y/N)?" (BF/N) called out. You were snapped out of your thoughts as she waved her hand in front of your face. "H-huh?" You asked being startled a little. She smiled as you looked over at her. "Hahah. I thought you fell asleep standing up, silly!" She said chuckling. You blushed in embarrassment playing with a bit of your hair. "We're almost there, (Y/N)! We're gonna battle Leon soon!" (BF/N) said pumping their fist. "C-Couldn't we have just t-taken a flying ta-taxi there?" You asked timidly. (BF/N) cocked her head and pointed over to the stadium. "Lookie! There it is!" She said running ahead. You were startled a little bit by her shout and running ahead. "W-wait up!" You timidly called ahead. Though you were excited to see Leon, you didn't really like big crowds. You kinda thought it was a miracle that you even made it this far.

   (Y/N) huffed and tried to catch her breath since she ran after (BF/N). "Ha..hah..." (Y/N) breathed out. "You okay?" (BF/N) asked. "Sorry for running of f like that." She said scratching the back of her neck. (Y/N) sat up straight and giggled nervously. "It-i-it's okay. I'm...hah...fine." (Y/N) said still trying to catch her breath. (BF/N) stood up straight and looked ahead. "Welp! No time like the present!" She sis walking ahead. (Y/N) did the same, walking a little more timid.
{Magical Time Skip to after the Finals}
    (Y/N) walks onto the pitch. She was shivering like a houndour in the snow. She looked up and around her and saw how big the crowd was. "I-it's so m-m-uch...b-bigger than at th-the normal sta-adiums..." she whispers to herself as if someone was there. She looked ahead and saw Leon. Her heart began to race and her face heated up. She felt a fuzzy feeling in her chest that caused her to smile. She stops at the middle of the pitch as Leon did as well. He looked down at her and smiled, a light blush on his face. "You ready?" He asked putting a hand on her shoulder. "It's okay if you're not. I understand." He added reassuringly. (Y/N) blushed and looked down at the ground then back up at Leon. She smiles confidently for the first time in her life. "I-I'm ready." She said looking up at him. Leon smiles and turns away going to his side of the pitch.
{Magical Time Skip to when she beats him}
       Leon stood there completely amazed by (Y/N)'s performance. (Y/N)'s confident smirk fades once she hears the crowd cheer extremely loud. She immediately returns to her nervous self. Leon smiles and walks up to (Y/N), she shakily looks up at him as he takes her hand. She blushes and looks up at the crowd as he holds up her hand. "And here she is! The new champion of Galar! (Y/N)!!" She stands there, eyes wide and sparkly. He looks down at her and smiles, putting both of her hands in his own. "I'm so proud of you (Y/N)." He said smiling and staring into her (E/C) eyes. He blushes a little and smiles. "Meet me outside later. There's something I have to tell you." He said holding onto her hands a little tighter. She shook her head and smiled. "O-okay." She said letting go of his hands.
     She walks into the break room and begins breathing in and out slowly. She goes and gets her normal clothes on then grabs her bag and leaves the stadium. She notices a red string on the ground. She picks it up and realizes that it's much longer than she thought, leading all the way behind the stadium. She keeps rolling it around her hand going behind the stadium until she sees him; Leon. "L-Leon?" She utters quietly. Leon turns and blushes seeing her. He gulps and walks up to her. "Y-you came...!" He said with surprise coating his voice. She smiles but then nervously plays with her hair again. "S-so.." she blushes a little. "W-what did you want to t-tell me?" She asked with that same stutter Leon thought was so cute. "We-well uhm. It's come to my attention that I have had a few feelings that I think I should address to you!" He said trying to sound formal but failing miserably. (Y/N) cocks her head in confusion as Leon scratches the back of his neck. "L-look I love you okay?" He said with blush all over his face. (Y/N)'s eyes widened. Her mouth opens slightly with surprise and then she smiles. She walks a little closer to Leon, he turns to look at her intently, waiting for her response. (Y/N) takes his hand shakily, still showing her nervousness. "I-I like you too I-I..." she stops herself and looks at the ground in embarrassment. Her face is as bright as a tomato. "I-I thought it was obvious..." She stuttered out. Leon's eyes widened in surprise and he smiled, pulling her into a big, warm hug. (Y/N) gasps, feeling his breath against her neck and his warm arms hold onto her tightly. "So...will you be my girlfriend?" He asks quietly. (Y/N)'s eyes close and she chuckles, wrapping her own arms around him. "Of course, why wouldn't I be?" She says with joy coating her voice. Leon chuckles and hugs her tighter, nestling his face into her neck. "I'm so happy." He whispered, his soft voice comforting as always. (Y/N) smiles and leans her head into his chest.
