Gunpla Model: SD-EX GN-0000 00 Gundam

Welp, here it goes!

It's been 3 years since I've built a Gundam model. The last one was a Master Grade Wing Gundam Proto-Zero.

I was so ready to build (and accidentally break something, but more on that later) this Gundam.

I got it for $12 CAD, which is around $12.30 USD.

That's probably one of the best ways to hang manuals up.

I used these files (or whatever you call them for nails) for the nubs. The green file worked the most since the gates had a narrow distance.

I used these three markers. Guess which one has the Gundam Brand on them. Correct. It's the blue one.

You know, I kinda expected the frame for SD-EX to have some good posability, and I was kinda right. I wish the knee caps could be posable.

Another gripe I have with the model is the skirt piece. It's held by a single balljoint and it's pretty damn loose. Maybe because I sanded that balljoint a bit too much.

This guy is slightly taller than a 56mm Rubik's Cube. Wow.

And also taller than this 4x4!

That just looks amazing.

Heh.

One of the wing connectors broke because I pulled it in the wrong direction.

Fortunately, I managed it to incorporate those to the weapons.

Reminds me of Diver Ace a bit.

Welp, I guess I gotta get HG 00 Sky.

LET'S BURN MY WALLET
