Today is Saturday at the Creedon-Van Reekum household!

It has been one week since summer vacation started for the four older kids - John, Blakelyn, Paisley and Grayson and the week has been relaxing one so far!

John finished second grade, Blakelyn and Paisley both finished pre-kindergarten and Grayson finished Headstart!

Next school year, John will be in third grade, Blakelyn and Paisley will be in kindergarten, Grayson will be in preschool and Ensley will be in Headstart!

The kids have been enjoying having no school, whether it's virtual or in person and they have been playing with their toys, playing outside, making crafts, watching movies and other fun things!

PK and Mike both want to make sure that all of the kids and themselves have a very fun and safe summer! Last summer they couldn't really do anything, so this summer they are hoping they can even travel some!

The pandemic is still happening and is slowly going away, however, PK and Mike want to make sure that the kids don't get sick and have fun this summer.

PK, Mike, John, Blakelyn, Paisley, Grayson, Ensley, Addelyn, Wiley, Weston, Poppy and Beau have all been hanging out as a family at home since it has been really warm out!

PK and Mike are still able to work at home which makes them extremely happy because they can stay home and be with the kids instead of having their friends watch them or putting them in daycare for a few hours.

However today, PK, Mike, John, Blakelyn, Paisley, Grayson, Ensley, Addelyn, Wiley, Weston, Poppy and Beau will have some visitors visiting them from out of town for a few days!

Mike's father side of the family is coming from Virginia to visit with them!

Mike's grandfather Jan Sr, stepgrandma Wil, aunts Carla and Daphne and uncles Nico and David are coming to visit with Mike, PK and the kids!

The last time Mike, PK and the kids met with them is when Grayson was just a newborn baby! This will be the first time that Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Daphne, Nico and David will meet Ensley, Addelyn, Wiley and Weston!

Right now, Mike and PK are getting the house ready for Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Daphne, Nico and David's few day stay!

Mike and PK just cleaned the guest bedroom and they got the two blow up beds set up for everyone!

*John, Blakelyn, Paisley, Grayson, Ensley, Addelyn, Wiley and Weston's outfits*

Beau and Poppy are both sleeping in their dog beds while John, Blakelyn, Paisley, Grayson and Ensley are all in the playroom either playing with their toys or watching Monsters Inc!

Addelyn, Wiley and Weston are all playing in the living room close by to PK and Mike.

"Da da! Pa pa!" Addelyn says as she army crawls over to PK and Mike.

"Hi, baby girl! Hi!" PK says in a babyfied voice at Addelyn, making her smile up at him.

"Aaaa! Da da! Paaaaa!" Wiley says as he crawls over to PK and Mike, playing with Mike's socks.

"Good job, Wi Wi Wi! You did it, bud! Yay!" Mike cheers and smiles down at Wiley.

"Aaa aaa!" Wiley says as he blows bubbles, making both PK and Mike chuckle.

"Wes! Are you going to crawl over too? Or are you having fun with the toys?" PK says as he giggles and smiles at Weston who is sitting in the living room, content just sitting near the toys. 

"He loves to just sit and chill." Mike says as he and PK both smile and giggle.

"Are you excited to see your grandpa, grandma, aunts and uncles today?" PK asks Mike as he hugs and kisses him, making Mike blush and smile.

"I really am! We haven't seen them since Grayson was a baby, so it is going to be good to catch up and have a fun few days with them!" Mike says as he kisses PK's forehead.

"It will be! And I can't believe it's been that long! They will have four new great grandkids and nieces and nephews to meet today!" PK says happily.

"Daddy! Papa! Wook! Wook!" Ensley says as she happily shows PK and Mike her drawing she just made.

"Oh my goodness! I love it, Ensy! It is so pretty! Thank you so much, baby girl!" PK says as he kisses Ensley's forehead.

"Ooo! I love it too, Ensy! Thank you!" Mike says as he kisses Ensley.

"You, Addy, Wi and We are going to meet Papa's two aunts, two uncles, grandpa and grandma today!" PK says as Ensley smiles and gets excited even though she has no idea who these people are.

"Yay!" Ensley says as she jumps up and down and smiles.

Addelyn and Wiley happily babble to each other as they both crawl back over to Weston in the living room and they all play!

PK and Mike finish up cleaning up the house and they patiently waited for Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Daphne, Nico and David to arrive!

- Two Hours Later
Mike's grandfather Jan Sr, stepgrandma Wil, aunts Carla and Daphne and uncles Nico and David are almost at the Creedon-Van Reekum house!

PK, Mike, John, Blakelyn, Paisley, Grayson, Ensley, Addelyn, Wiley, Weston, Poppy and Beau are all sitting in the living room, patiently waiting for Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Daphne, Nico and David's arrival!

"Are y'all excited to see everyone today? We are going to have a lot of fun this week with all of them!" Mike says to John, Blakelyn, Paisley, Grayson, Ensley, Addelyn, Wiley and Weston.

"YESSSS!" John, Blakelyn, Paisley, Grayson and Ensley all yell in excitement at Mike as they bop up and down on the couch.

"Ba ba ba ba ba!" Addelyn, Wiley and Weston all say in unison as they smile and they get excited even though they have no idea what's going on.

Poppy and Beau both happily wag their tails and they get as well because they love visitors!

"Do y'all remember Papa's great grandpa Jan and great grandma Wil?" PK asks John, Blakelyn and Paisley, seeing if they remember Jan Sr and Wil.

"I do! I remember them!" John says with a big grin.

"I don't!" Blakelyn says as she tries to remember but she doesn't.

"Me either!" Paisley says as she also tries to remember too but she doesn't.

"Nooooope!" Grayson says playfully as he giggles loudly.

"It's okay if you don't remember! We haven't seen them in a while! Grayson was a baby!" Mike says to the kids.

"Are they Nana's Mommy and Daddy, Daddy and Papa?" John asks PK and Mike curiously.

"No, they are Pop's Mommy and Daddy!" PK says as John, Blakelyn, Paisley and Grayson all awe and smile.

"Here is a picture of them!" Mike says showing John, Blakelyn and Paisley a picture of Jan and Will.

"Also, Papa's two aunts Carla and Daphne and two uncles Nico and David are coming too!" PK says to John, Blakelyn, Paisley and Grayson.

"Carla and Nico are married and Daphne and David are married!" Mike explains to the kids.

"I think I remember them too!" John says with a big smile.

"Yeah! We met with them last time too!" PK says happily to all of the kids.

Thirty minutes later, Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Nico, Daphne and David have arrived at the Creedon-Van Reekum house!

Poppy and Beau happily run to the front door to greet Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Nico, Daphne and David, making all six of them smile and they all pet the dogs!

Mike greets Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Nico, Daphne and David with a big smile as he hugs and kisses everyone.

"Poppy and Beau! Back up! Back up! Let everybody come in!" PK says as Poppy and Beau happily run around the house playfully.

"These are our dogs! This is Poppy and this is Beau!" Mike says as he pets both dogs.

"Hey y'all! Welcome to our home!" PK says with a smile as he hugs Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Nico, Daphne and David one by one!

"Thank you so much for inviting us to stay for a few days!" Jan Sr says with a big jolly smile.

"I never been on the west coast so this is exciting!" David says as he stands next to Daphne.

"It is so good to see y'all! You guys have a lovely home!" Wil says with a grin.

"Y'all sure do! It's so beautiful!" Carla says happily.

"Thank you!" PK and Mike both say in unison to Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Nico, Daphne and David.

"Oh my goodness! Y'all have eight kids now?" Daphne asks playfully making PK and Mike laugh.

"Y'all busy, huh?" Nico says as he chuckles.

"Yeah! We have eight! A set of twins and triplets in there!" Mike says causing Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Nico, Daphne and David to all gasp.

"Are y'all done?" Carla asks playfully making PK and Mike giggle and smile at each other.

"We are pretty sure! It's PK's choice!" Mike says happily as he looks at PK.

"We are 90% done! But if we got pregnant we wouldn't be upset. We struggled getting pregnant before our eldest so we are so grateful to have eight healthy and perfect kids!" PK says to Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Nico, Daphne and David.

PK, Mike, Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Nico, Daphne and David all walk into the living room to see the kids.

Poppy and Beau run around some more before they lay in their dog beds to rest.

"This is our eldest John! He is eight years old! This is Grayson, he was the baby when we saw y'all last time! He is going to be three in August! And these are our twins Blakelyn and Paisley and they turned five a few weeks ago!" Mike says introducing Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Nico, Daphne and David to John, Blakelyn, Paisley and Grayson since these four have grown a lot since the last time they saw the kids.

"Hello!" John says with a big cheeky smile at Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Nico, Daphne and David.

"Hiiiiiii!" Grayson says as he giggles and smiles.

"Hi! I'm Blakelyn!" Blakelyn says as she waves.

"And I'm Paisley!" Paisley says as she also waves.

"Hello!" Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Nico, Daphne and David all say in unison to John, Blakelyn, Paisley and Grayson.

Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Nico, Daphne and David all five John, Blakelyn, Paisley and Grayson hugs.

"John looks just like Jan, my goodness." Carla says, realizing how much John looks like her late brother.

"And Paisley looks like Florence!" Daphne says as everyone agrees.

"Grayson looks like a little PK!" Nico says with a chuckle.

"The kids are a great mixture of you both! All of them are so perfect." Carla says making Mike and PK both smile.

"Thank you!" PK and Mike both say in unison to Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Nico, Daphne and David.

"And these four y'all haven't met!" Mike says to Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Nico, Daphne and David.

"Ba ba ba ba ba!" Addelyn and Wiley both say happily.

"Baaaaaaaa!" Weston says as he claps his hands.

"This is Ensley! She is going to be two in October! Do you wanna say hi, Ensy?" PK says introducing Ensley to everyone.

"Hiiiii!" Ensley says as she smiles at Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Nico, Daphne and David.

"And these are our triplets! This is Addelyn! This is Wiley and this is Weston!" Mike says, introducing the triplets to Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Nico, Daphne and David.

Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Nico, Daphne and David all hug Ensley, Addelyn, Wiley and Weston.

PK, Mike, Addelyn, Wiley, Weston, Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Nico, Daphne and David all hang out and chit chat on the couch while John, Blakelyn, Paisley, Grayson and Ensley all happily play!

For the rest of the day, PK, Mike, John, Blakelyn, Paisley, Grayson, Ensley, Addelyn, Wiley, Weston, Poppy, Beau, Jan Sr, Wil, Carla, Nico, Daphne and David all hang out and spend much needed time with each other! :)
