Chapter 7
Percy had bulging muscles and an 8-pack as well, but not overly so. Like he was fit enough to protect and make girls drool but not like steroids. His tousled black hair looked even more so but he had a one crimson streak.
His eyes had changed too. The sea green had gold, emerald green and blue flecks, blending with the hurricane of his eyes before being spit back out. His eyes were slitted as well. Percy's outfit had changed too.
He wore a black cloak, with a rich blue button down shirt that had emerald green and gold lining. He wore black slacks, and oddly enough blue converse with emerald green and gold patterns of hourglasses, mountains, and animals.
The Fates, who had just stuck around, announced proudly, "All hail Percy Achilles Jackson. Primordial God of Peace, Blue Food, Earth, Time, Swordsmanship, Water, Loyalty, and Sass. Olympian God of Marine Animals."
Tessa grinned as Percy blushed and stuttered, curling into him as he wrapped his arms around her from behind and resting his chin atop her head.
"Your weapon is Riptide. Your sacred animals are Mrs. O'Leary and the Neman Lioness."
Two thrones appeared side by side at the beginning of the council room.
The first was pitch black with crimson, white, and gold swirls. There were engravings of canines, felines, hunters, bows, and swords. There was three sheaths, a hook, and a couple nooks in the throne, presumably for animals to sleep in. This was Tessa's throne.
Percy's throne was pure white, the colour of peace, with blue, green, and gold swirls. There were engravings of waves, mountains, marine animals, and swords. There was one sheath for Riptide. Little did the Primordial council know identical thrones had appeared in the Olympian council room.
Zeus and Hera's thrones had been moved down some, while Hestia and Poseidon's thrones had taken the head, while Percy and Tessa's at their sides. Tessa on Hestia's side and Percy on Poseidon's.
Tessa turned and for the first time kissed Percy. The kiss between them didn't get heated though as Chaos said,
"Oookayy. Before this gets heated how about you go check out your palace!" Snapping his fingers, Chaos teleported the couple.
They looked up at their palace. It radiated peace but also a threat.
"If you mess with our loved ones you will pay."
The palace had a sort of marbled feel. The black and white blended perfectly and blue, crimson, gold, and green flecks stood out prominently. It wasn't too large.
Just big enough to be roomy but small enough to be homey. Percy held Tessa's hand and teleported them to New Rome, the Garden of Bacchus.
"Hey Tess? Guess what." Percy said grinning. Tessa tilted her head as Percy kneeled. He rummaged in his pocket before pulling out a black velvet box.
Tessa looked stunned, "Perce."
"I know we haven't known each other long. But you are my one. I'll only ever want to be with you. We can take it slow if you wish. Just know I will love you forever. And so, Theresa Diana Kanellos will you marry me?" Percy asked.
"Yes. But only if you never call me Theresa again. I kinda hate the name. Reminds me of my 8th grade math teacher." She replied happily, but shuddered at the end.
Percy let out a booming laugh, sliding the black iron ring with a small sapphire on.
"This was my grandma's on my mom's side of course. I love you." Percy said kissing her.
Tessa kissed back lovingly, "I love you too."
