Forced Inchor

Many people died in the Giant War. Only the Seven, Nico, Clarisse, Reyna, Rachel, and Grover survived (this is people whose names I thought of) others survived, but so many were lost that even a single battle could take them all out.

The gods themselves were weakened too.

They were unable to defend themselves.
They decided that they would make the Heroes immortal.

Nico and Will, and Thalia and Reyna were already dating (thank Hestia)

All of the people I mentioned earlier were summoned to Olympus, plus Juniper, Thalia and Will. This happened a few months after the War, but everyone had already held feelings for each other before end of the war. (I'm looking at you, Solangelo and Theyna)

The gods give the heroes an offer: become immortal.

They all declined, they had friends and family in the Underworld that they wanted to be reunited with one day.
The gods (*cough* ZEUS *cough*) did not understand or approve of this.

So he forced them to become immortal.

They experienced a pain that on being was ever meant to feel. Not even the gods had ever felt this level of pain.

The transformation wasn't SUPPOSED to be painful, but it brought out every one of their memories. Their blood was supposed to become inchor through a magic transformation, but instead it boiled. It boiled until it became pure, golden, godly inchor. Every wound they'd ever experienced reopened.

It was hell.

The demigods, Grover, Juniper, and Rachel all fell to the ground in pain. They all screamed in pain.

Nico, Percy and Annabeth screamed the loudest, relieving Tartarus.

After excruciating pain, it was finally over. The wounds closed, crimson (and in some cases, green) fluid mixing with gold on the marble floors.

Percy and Annabeth held hands, while Will, who had fallen away from Nico, fought his pain and ran to him, stumbling the whole way.

He collapsed next to his boyfriend and held him. Nico's eyes wide as the sun, coated in tears.

Thalia had tree roots breaking the ground near her, cracking the marble as she to walk, but fell, towards Reyna, who reached her hand weakly, her old @buses scars from her dad open. Trauma coated her features.

Leo was on fire, Calypso holding his hand tightly through the fire-proof gloves they'd made and always wore together.

Clarisse's screaming brought Ares to tears. He didn't even care that everyone could hear the badass god of war in tears. He watches as Chris, who was part of this hellish experience also, was holding her. Sure, he was tough and cruel and mean, but he did love his kids. Clarisse and Frank especially.

Mars also had to watch as Frank shifted uncontrollably. His bow had nearly been crushed underneath him, but Mars rushed over and pulled his son's treasured bow out from under him before his son's elephant form could obliterate it. Hazel had carved and painted it with design, just for him. It was a vain attempt to lighten things for the two after Percy and Annabeth had fallen.

Hazel had gems, precious stones and metals popping up around her, Arion bolting over, sensing her distress. He whinnied sadly, somehow too distressed to even curse. Pluto hurried over to his cursed daughter, then to his son and Will.

Hades cried over his son's limp, golden form. Nico was so badly damaged that he was unconscious. The same was true with Percy and Annabeth.

Percy and Annabeth had since been knocked unconscious by the horrific pain and memories, just how Nico had been. Poseidon and Athena ran over, cried for their children. For the two that never agreed on anything, they were both in agreement that this was wrong.

Even Bellona ran to Reyna. Only Zeus stayed still as Aphrodite and Hera ran towards Piper and Jason. Despite what you might think, Hera was quite fond of her champion, and seeing him in so much pain hurt.

The gods were furious. They took Zeus into another room, and even the Roman gods came out.

Bellona, Reyna's mother, who was always cold and logical, never letting anything affect her emotionally, was threatening Zeus by a very painful offer of being unable to give Thalia and Hason siblings.

The new gods and goddesses had to lay on the floor for hours too weak to move. They were stuck in this life now.

Forever.

lol I just wrote this in a YouTube 'you create the pov' PJO edit with Percy and Annabeth becoming gods. So, angsty as fuck like mah brain. Yay. So, arson.

Also, this was originally 402 words, excluding this a/n. Now including this a/n,   809 words. Shorter than I normally write, but I think it's angst, right? Can someone tell me if this is angst? Please, I don't even know if it's angst or me being 💀🙃🔥✨📖🤪🥸
