Leo's POV:
I love Camp Half-Blood. Summer here at Camp has been the best thing I've had yet. I have tons of friends here who all have your back. The Argo II crew are my closest friends. Being here at Camp with them is so much fun. I wouldn't trade this for the world.

We've gotten a few new demigods but nothing like this girl named Y/N. She got a lion in her heart and a fire in her soul. She's really brave, strong, pretty, and sticks up for what's right.
Y/N is the daughter of Ares. She's not like her siblings. She's nice to everyone but she ain't afraid to be mean to those who hurt her loved ones.

Some how she became friends with Clarrise. That's pretty amazing since she hates everyone except her boyfriend Chris. Before Y/N was claimed I wouldn't have ever thought her and Clarrise could be half sisters.

Y/N was claimed in a game of capture the flag when she helped her team win on her third day here. She looked so happy then when she was claimed. I was hoping she wasn't my sibling so I could ask her out.

I was laying in bed thinking about Y/N when Harley came in and said, "Leo get up! It's the campfire now!" Harley is a strong kid he kinda scares me so I got up and went to the campfire with him. When we got there everyone was roasting marshmallows and there wasn't much space.

I saw Y/N trying to find space to cook at least one marshmallow but no luck. I walked over to her and asked, "Need help?" She nodded her head and I lead her away from the others. She stopped and said, "But the fire is over there." "Watch this." I said. I lit a flame in my hands and Y/N looked at me in awe.

"Wow, that is really cool!" She said smiling sounding impressed. "Thanks, go ahead, roast your marshmallow." I said and sent her a smile. She held her marshmallow over my hands then she asked, "You're Leo Valdez right?" "That's me, and I'm guessing your       Y/N." I said.

She nodded her head and said, "I'm daughter of Ares. Who's your godly parent?" "Son of Hephaestus." I said. "Cool, so are you the only one with the fire power?" She asked curiously. "Ya, I'm the only one that we know of." I replied.

We continued talking and getting to know each other. We had a good time and we laughed a little enjoying each other's company. We were really hitting it off.

In the distance behind a bush I saw Annabeth and Piper spying on us. They smiled and I heard them say, "Oh my gods they are so cute! They better start dating or else I'll have to make them. You can totally tell they like each other a lot." I blushed a little thinking about what is would be like dating Y/N.

I ignored Piper and Annabeth and just focused on Y/N. She has the most beautiful eyes I could get lost in them forever. Later Chiron called us and said, "Alright campers time for bed." Everyone groaned not wanting to but they went to bed slowly.

"I'll see you around Leo. Also thanks, I liked getting to know you." Y/N said and I blushed then replied, "I liked getting to know you too. You are really nice Y/N." She blushed a light pink colour. "Bye Valdez." She said and started to walk away. Piper ran over to me and used her charm speak and said, "Go ask her out Leo."

I muttered a curse under my breath unable to stop myself under Pipers charm speak. "Hey
Y/N wait!" I called and ran up to her. She turned around and asked, "What is it?" "I-I was w-wondering if you'd like to go out with m-me sometime?" I stuttered nervously. She smiled and kissed my cheek. "I'd love to Leo." She replied. I blushed a deep shade of red and she laughed, "Good night Leo." "Good n-night." I stuttered and Y/N walked off into the night to her cabin.

I stood there in the night trying to wipe the stupid grin off my face but with no luck. I started to walk back to my cabin in a great mood. She said she'd love to! I can't wait to see her again.
