Percabeth Family Life
Annabeth took a deep breath, pulled a piece of blonde hair out of her face, and looked up from her latest blueprint. Ever since the war with the Titans many years ago, when she and Percy were sixteen, renovations on Olympus had just kept growing. Annabeth and her mom, Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom, kept finding things to update or add.
A squeal drew her attention to the big floor-to-ceiling windows in her office. She grinned, grateful for the interruption, and ran out of the room and down the stairs. She pulled open the sliding glass door and stepped out into the sun.
A spout of water shot into the air, with howls of laughter coming from the top. Annabeth saw her husband floating in the pool at the base of the jet. Then, it abruptly stopped. A small figure came hurtling down. Percy looked up and raised one hand.
Water shot up, enveloping her nine-year-old son, Luke. She peered into the stream and saw Luke grinning at her, his face full of innocence and delight. She smiled back at him, then directed her attention to Percy.
"Where's Zoë?" She asked. Percy tipped his head towards the deep end. Annabeth followed his gaze and saw a mane of long black hair streaming out about her daughter's young muscular frame. Smiling, Annabeth slipped off her shoes and dove into the pool.
As the cool water closed in around her, she was transported to a different world. The family pool was a lot bigger than it seemed. Annabeth took a breath, still marveling at the ability.
When she and Percy had gotten married, Poseidon had taken her aside at the wedding.
"If you're going to be married to my son, then you might find some new abilities quite useful," he said with a mischievous twinkle in his eyes.
At the time, Annabeth had been confused, but then she decided to shrug it off, deciding that she would worry about it later. Then, on their honeymoon, the first time they went to the beach, they decided to go diving. Percy was getting ready to give Annabeth an air bubble to use when she took a deep breath underwater. Poseidon had blessed Annabeth with the ability to breathe and stay dry underwater just like Percy.
Smiling at the memory, Annabeth swam down to the bubble surrounding her daughter. Zoë looked up as her mom slipped into the bubble.
"Hi mom," she said, leaning her head on Annabeth's shoulder. Annabeth smiled and hugged her daughter.
Zoë was fifteen years old, and the spitting image of her father. Annabeth could still picture his face when he held his daughter for the first time. It was priceless. Thank the gods that Sally captured the moment.
Annabeth ruffled Zoë's messy black hair.
"What are you reading?" Zoë held up the book for her mom to see. It was The Fellowship of The Ring, by J.R.R. Tolkien. Annabeth smiled.
"A classic." Zoë grinned at her mom, her freckles making her sea-green eyes stand out.
"Well, I'll leave you to your book. I have a project that I'm working on for your grandma unless you want to help me."
Zoë's eyes lit up. "Sure!"
Together, mother and daughter swam for the top. As they clambered out, Annabeth noticed that Percy and Luke had gone inside.
Placing an arm around Zoë's tanned shoulder, Annabeth said, "Come on. Let's go see what the boys are up to."
Together, they walked inside, listening to the laughter echoing through their home.

Hey guys! It's your girl, Cali!
So I wrote this several years ago, before I even considered getting Wattpad, and posting these for other people to read. Anyways, long story short, one of my asked me to post this and so I did.
Also, you'll notice some differences between this one-shot and the other Percabeth one-shots. As I got older and developed my writing style more, I started to change the family I had in mind. I switched the siblings, so instead of Zoë being older, Luke is older, and I'm also considering adding another older brother, and have Zoë be the youngest.
Anyways, just wanted to clear that up, hopefully avoiding confusion.
See y'all in the next one-shot!
Love, Cali
