Jason
Jason wasn't surprised when the tree fell over and caught on fire. He wasn't surprised when he was called over by Leo to make him a norse god of thunder. He was surprised, however, when Piper came over to him and pulled him into a passionate kiss. After the best kiss that Jason had experienced yet, Piper pulled away and smiled lovingly at Jason.
"W-what was that for, Pipes?" Jason asked, still utterly confused at his girlfriend's sudden affection.
"Well, it may be the christmas spirit, or it's mom messing with us, but I feel like a nice...something is needed this Christmas." Piper told Jason, still smiling. Jason smiled back, happy that Piper was happy. Getting a sudden idea, Jason wrapped his arms around Piper, just as a precaution.
"Hold on," He told her with a small grin, leaing down to kiss Piper's nose as he lifted them off the ground. As soon as Piper couldn's feel her feet touching the ground anymore, her arms tightened around Jason.
"Please don't drop me..." She whispered into his chest. Jason kissed the top of her head, lifting them higher. As soon as they were a good distance off the ground, so that they no longer felt the heat of the burning tree, Jason stopped.
"You can let go now, Pipes." He mumbled into Piper's hair. Piper's arms relaxed a little when she felt them stop moving. Piper lifted her head off Jason's chest and looked around, her eyes widening and mouth opening in an 'o' shape.
"This...This is gorgeous, Jason," Piper said to Jason. The couple was floating on a solid platform of air and a little bit of snow that Jason made with his powers. The son of Jupiter's face brightened, visible in the dim light.
"You like it?" He asked hopefully. Piper nodded enthusiastically, the multicoloured sunset making her kaleidoscope eyes even more gorgeous, the pinkish light reflecting off her face and hair.
"I love it. And I love you." She leaned over to kiss Jason on the lips again. As she pulled away, she started humming a recognizable holiday song that Jason quickly identified as 'Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.' when she started the lyrics.
Piper took Jason's hand in a position obviosuly meant for dancing and smirked as her mouth opened to a beautiful melody.
"Well, the weather outside is frightful," Piper walked away from Jason in the air, confident that he wouldn't drop her.
"But the fire is so delightful," She walked back and took both his hands.
"And since theres no place to go," She sang, looking over at Jason with an expectant expression.
"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!" They sang together, their voices mixing together perfectly. Piper pulled on Jason's hands, pulling herslef forward in the air, and rubbing her nose on Jason's.
They took a break from singing to hug, Piper sighing and Jason smiling at the quiet, calm sky.
Suddenly, out of nowhere again, Jason started singing.
"Well, it doesnt show signs of stopping," Jason sang out. Piper looked up, lifting her head off his chest and looking into his electric blue eyes.
"And I've brought some corn for popping," Piper pulled away again with a smile.
"The lights are turned way down low," Jason sang, twirling Piper in the air.
"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!" They sang together again. Jason pulled Piper into a dip.
Piper popped back up and started walking through the air away from Jason with a smile on her face.
"When we finally kiss goodnight, how I'll hate going out in the storm," She turned around and faced Jason with a wide grin. Jason smoothly floated over and circled around Piper in the air.
"But if you really hold me tight, all the way home I'll be warm!" Jason sang in response to Piper's part, standing behind her and wrapping his arms around her neck, using the air to twirl them around. After a while, when Jason let go of the note, he stopped them.
"Oh, the fire is slowly dying," Piper half sang half giggled, still a little dizzy from the spinning.
"And, my dear, we're still goodbying," Jason sang with a huge smile, eyes sparkling.
"But as long as you love me so," Piper sang sweetly, almost at the final line as Jason twirled her out again.
"Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!" They both belted out, bursting into a fit of laughter. Jason was glad that his control over the air was so much better, so he could sing, dance, and make sure they didn't plummet to their deaths at the same time. Jason pulled Piper into another hug, sighing.
"Just like you said eariler, Piper, I think your mom is watching over us tonight..." Jason said, for once fine with the idea that a bunch of gods were managing their feelings and lives. If it were't for Aphrodite, Jason wouldn't have gotten to do this with his awesome girlfriend.
Piper nodded in agrrement and looked up. "Thanks, mom..." she whispered to herself, tucking her head into Jason's chest again. Jason floated them over to a cloud and sat down, setting Piper next to him. He took ahold of her hand as Piper leaned her head on Jason's shoulder.
"I love you." Piper said softly, her breath forming a misty cloud. Jason concentrated a little bit and transformed the cloud into a heart. At Piper's delighted face, he made it form the words "I love you too." in the air. Piper giggled and Jason leaned his head down to plant a short kiss on her lips.
A/N: okay okay. Seriously not my otp, but guys, come on. Please vote or comment if you think Jasper (or Jiper) deserves some romance! Like, Piper's mom is Aphrodite. And this chapter was actually ADORABLE. Comment if you agree!
