Annabeth groaned. The tree—she set it up so nice and perfect! But the small frown melted off her face when she looked past the burning blue Christmas tree and saw her boyfriend, Percy.

Somehow, he'd managed to get  tangled up in Christmas lights. Annabeth sighed. Well, at least it's better than last year...

Last year, Percy almost set fire to the entire camp because he gave a burning marshmallow to a tree nymph! Yeah, terrible idea.

Annabeth assumed that this year was going to be better but NOOOO. Percy had to go ahead and knock the tree—which she had made blue with the Hecate cabin—into the fire.

Then of course he fell over and got completely tangled in the lights, something Annabeth hadn't noticed before.

Percy noticed Annabeth looking over and chuckled bashfully, rubbing the back of his neck. Annabeth giggled at her boyfriend. He was way to cute to be mad at! Annabeth walked around the burning tree and started to help Percy untangle himself. Of course, it wouldn't be a proper Percy mess if there wasn't a sneak attack kiss or three...
