It was Halloween night and in the Moon Theater they were opening a new show: GMO

Eventually many people and animals were entering the theater with their tickets, but from the crowd, a familiar person was in the middle

It was Luna Girl, who was carrying a camera to record the show because Gecko, Vampirina, Shade, Roxanne, Sara, Silas, Petunia, Tessa, Mei-yin and Dove were going to perform with Moon's crew

Now we check on the inside as everyone started arriving and taking their seats as Buster Moon's voice was heard from behind the stage

Buster: *though the speakers* All creatures great and small, welcome to the Moon Theater. Please take your seats. The show is about to begin

When everyone was seated, the lights went out spooking everyone but it was all part of the show. The lights shined on the stage as the show started, it showed a car driving out of the city, it seemed pleasant at first.

That was untill the scenery changes to dark creepy woods, the car seemed to stop when it hit a flat tire. Then coming out was Meena, a small car for a big elephant like her, the crowd clapped.

Meena: Ugh a flat, uh no now I'll be late for the party

Luna Girl: *recording* Now this is getting interesting...

Meena: No signal? Ugh, you got to be kidding me. Ok pull yourself together I mean how hard can it be to fix a stupid tire anyway? There's a spare back here somewhere

Suddenly a violet mist appeared, spreading through the stage. When the smoke cleared, the car was gone and Meena panicked

Meena: What? My car, it's gone! But-but-but, that's impossible!

Then things start getting interesting when something was moving in the bushes as some familiar blurs were seen.

Meena: Hello? Is someone there?

???: I'm here...

The audience laughed while Meena looks at them and smiled as Luna Girl chuckled at her acting and who was the voice in the bushes

She pretended to drop her flashlight when a noise scared her. She went to pick it up when something was sprouting from the ground.

It was zombie or mutant pumpkin then more of them emerged from the ground and leading them was Gecko who was dressed up in a suit that looked like Beetlejuice's as he started to perform a spirited version of the hit Michael Jackson song: Thriller.

Gecko:
🎶It's close to midnight and something evil's lurking in the dark
Under the moonlight
You see a sight that almost stops your heart🎶

Meena: W-Who are you?

But just then Shade, Roxanne, Sara, Silas, Petunia, Tessa, Mei-yin and Dove jumped behind her with their costumes scaring her as they sang as well

Kids:
🎶You try to scream, but terror takes the sound before you make it
You start to freeze, as horror looks you right between the eyes
You're paralyzed🎶

Then right in front of her Vampirina jumped in with her cape on as she sang as well

Vampirina:
🎶Ooh, ooh
You hear the door slam, and realize there's nowhere left to run🎶

Meena gets chased inside a lab as Gunter appeared dressed up as a zombie or mutant carrot and Ash as a mad scientist

Gunter:
🎶You feel the cold hand
And wonder if you'll ever see the sun🎶

Ash:
🎶You close your eyes
And hope that this is just imagination
Girl, but all the while
You hear a creature creepin' up behind
You're out of time🎶

Gecko, Vampirina, Meena and the kids:
🎶Cause this is thriller, thriller night
There ain't no second chance against the thing with forty eyes, girl
Thriller, thriller night
You're fighting for your life inside a killer, thriller tonight🎶

Just then Meena gets stapped in a chair as Johnny appeared on the piano also dressed up as a mad scientist

Johnny:
🎶Night creatures call
And the dead start to walk in their masquerade🎶

Kids:
🎶Masquerade🎶

Johnny, Ash, Vampirina and Gecko:
🎶There's no escaping the jaws of the alien this time (they're open wide)
This is the end of your life, ooh🎶

Then a machine came down sparking fake electricity and when it went up, everyone saw Meena now turned into a giant mutant lemon

With that the show ended as all the crowd clapped and Luna Girl finished her recording and sent it to the rest of the team and the Smash Crew

Some minutes later, the gang, Gecko, Luna Girl and the kids get ready to attend to a party that Clay Calloway was holding as he invited everyone incluiding the Smash Crew

Ash: So, Moon, you coming with us to Clay's Halloween party?

Buster: Uh, that's tonight?

Gunter: Yeah-huh! Party time, baby!

Gecko: We're thankful that he invited all the crew there. We wanted to take a break from the mansion and one of our Halloween parties didn't go well once

Luna Girl: True, also Porsha, Nooshy and Rosita are also coming later with the team and Smash Crew

Sara: Then we can go trick or treating!

Dove: I really want to go trick or treating too

Shade: We should go now to the party

Meena: Are we taking the bus?

Johnny: Nah, I got my dad's truck

Meena: *giggles* Cool!

Petunia: Yay! Thank you!

Ash: Let's go, Moon. Clay will be mad at us if we're late and the kids' parents want to see their children as soon as the show ended

Vampirina: *looks at her twins* True, besides we can't keep your dad waiting, right?

Roxanne: Right mommy

Tessa: I wonder how they reacted to the show...

Buster: Okay, I'll be there in a minute

Gecko: Alright pal

The rest of the gang and the kids went outside where the truck was as Buster stayed behind and turned off the lights when he heard the news

Reporter: The building has been destroyed, and trees surrounding the site flattened to the ground. Everyone has been safely evacuated from the laboratory, though it is not yet known what caused the mysterious explosion

Buster was startled by the news then he knocked down the shelf and the helmets of the vegetation mutant zombies came crashing down scaring him more.

Buster: *screams* AHHH!

Then one of them hits him in the head and he falls down

Buster: Ouch...

Ash: *from outside* Let's go, Moon!

Luna Girl: *from outside* Come on! We don't want to be late!

Buster: Oh! Coming!

Then everyone got in the truck with Johnny driving as the kids were enjoying themselves until the truck made a stop because some police were surrounding an area covered in a strange ooze

Police dog: Sorry, folks, there's been an explosion and a leak at the science lab.

Gecko: Oh no...

Ash: Is anyone hurt?

Police dog: No, everyone has been safely evacuated

Luna Girl: Officer, what is this stuff?

Police dog: Beats me. I'm no scientist. But until we get it under control, this road is closed, okay?

Johnny: Thanks, officer

Police dog: You folks take care now

With that Johnny backs up then the officer steps in the ooze that's overflowing.

Police dog: Aw, dang! My new boots!

But something strange happens, his eyes change to an eerie color.

Meanwhile the gang find a new route to Clay's house and when they arrive they see all the decorations he made

Gecko: Okay, like, wow

Luna Girl: This guy totally knows how to throw a party, am I right?

Vampirina: Huh? Where is everybody?

Ash: *goes to the house and knocks on the door* Clay! We're here!

Kids: Trick or treat! *no response*

Johnny: He's probably trying to scare us

Unfortunately something else was coming to the party, when the ooze put out the fire, the lights went out spooking the gang a bit.

Silas: Gah!

Petunia: Eep!

Luna Girl: Yikes!

Johnny: See? This is typical of Clay

Gunter: Okay, Mr. Spookypants, you got us!

Ash: Yeah, very funny, Clay. You can come out now

Gecko: Yeah! You already scared us enough!

Vampirina: Why do I get the feeling that something's not right here?

Mei-yin: *shaking* I-I feel the same

Shade: Me too

Ash: Clay, we know you're in there *no response* Clay?

Ash checks the slot then Clay looked through but he wasn't himself.

They got scared and the gang except Buster Moon, Mrs Crawly, Gecko, Luna Girl, Vampirina and the kids fell onto the puddle of ooze then Ash got her hands on.

Ash: Ew!

Tessa: Hey! Isn't that the liquid that came from the lab that exploded?

Buster: Uh... guys... I think I found the other party guests...

Gecko: Huh? Where?

Buster points behind them and when they looked they saw all the other party guests (except the Smash crew) looking weird

Gunter: Uh-oh. This is not my kind of party

Vampirina: Something weird is going on here...

Roxanne: Mommy, I'm scared...

As the zombies get closer, Miss Crawly, Gecko, Luna Girl, Vampirina, the kids and Buster turn and saw that the others were now zombies

Buster/Miss Crawly/Gecko/Vampirina/Luna Girl/All kids: AHHHH!

Then suddenly the zombies started dancing and singing to the song Thriller as they surrounded them

Luna Girl: What the heck?

Zombies:

Miss Crawly: Mr Moon, run!

Gecko: Let's get out of here!!!

They reached the dock where Gecko, Luna Girl and Vampirina helped the kids get on quickly, then they get on a boat and paddled away

Buster: It's okay, everyone. We're safe now

Luna Girl: Thank goodness we escaped

Vampirina: *looks at the kids* Did any of you got hurt?

Shade: No mom, we're okay

Sara: That was really scary, I want to go home

Suddenly something came from underneath them, it was a giant tentacle as it came crashing down. But as Buster screamed, it turned out to only be a nightmare

Miss Crawly: Mr Moon?

Gecko: Buster? Are you okay?

As Buster woke up he saw Miss Crawly, Gecko, Luna Girl and Vampirina surrouding him with worried faces

Buster: W-What happened?

Miss Crawly: Mr Moon, I think you might've hit your head

Vampirina: We saw that you weren't coming out and we ran to check on you. And when we entered we saw you unconcious

Buster: Oh, I see... [So everything was just a dream]

Luna Girl: Well, now that we know you're okay we should get going. The others are waiting for us in the truck to go to the party. Tha Smash Crew just notified us they're already there

Buster: *realizes* The party! We should go now! And Miss Crawly, please change those shelfs when we get back

Miss Crawly: Yes, Mr Moon

Vampirina: Let's get to the party

And with that settled, everyone went outside as Buster stayed behind but when he turned off the lights he saw a snail with the eerie eyes from his nightmare as it laughed creepily making him run off to the truck scared and then the snail fell off as it was revealed that the eyes were fake as the screen went black
