"Hello dork. I assume that's your name, that's what your contact name is."

"I'm afraid that's not my real name, I'm Lucas. I assume you're Ray?"

"Yes I am. Has Sam told you all about me?"

"Only that you're adorable."

"Thank you. I am. So, are you the vegan that rings up and only orders fries?"

"That would be me."

"I'd hate to be vegan. I love meat way too much. My favourite is chicken. What's yours?"

"Uh I don't have one, because I'm vegan."

"But if you weren't vegan, what would be your favourite?"

"Um..I can't pick."

"But you have to pick."

"Okay, I loved sausage when I was younger."

"Good choice. Do you like ice-cream?"

"I have special ice-cream for vegans, I like that."

"So what can you eat that doesn't have vegan at the beginning of it?"

"I can have any carbohydrates and-"

"What are carbondrates?"

"It's like, pasta and bread and potatoes."

"Is that all you can eat? You live off pasta, bread and potatoes?"

"Well, no. I can also have fruit and vegetables. And all the foods with vegan at the beginning."

"Maybe I should try being vegan."

"But you said you liked meat too much."

"Oh, I forgot that. Anyway, I'm watching this show that Sam told me to watch. It's called Anne with and E. she said that Lucas was in it. Your name is Lucas. Are you in it?"

"Yes, I am."

"Which one are you?"

"I'm Gilbert."

"The one who's in love with Anne?"

"Yep, that would be me. Which episode are you on?"

"I'm on five."

"Wow, you got through it quickly."

"It's the first show I've actually properly liked."

"Thanks."

"You're welcome, Lucas."

"So, how come you have Samantha's phone?"

"She's out with mum, dad and Charlie and I was bored. Toby told me to call you."

"He did? Why?"

"Because he said that you'd be able to put up with me. I'm not sure what that means but he said it with a smile so I guess it was a good thing. He also said he liked you so that I would. And I do like you."

"That's good to hear, because I like you too."

"I also felt left out because Sam always talks about you, and so does Toby and Charlie and I didn't know who you were. But now I do."

"I-"

"Oh no! That's dad pulling up now. I have to go Lucas!"

"Okay, it was nice talking to you Ray."

"You too Lucas!"
