He broke his promise.

Kim Doyoung has forgotten me entirely. Erased from his memory banks as if I was never a part of his life to begin with. Because technically I wasn't. I was only a character in a game.

Yet, somehow I keep coming back to him.

Gracefully he maneuvers himself around tables to serve another customer. A pleasant smile staining his face as the sun itself smiles back at him. A halo of light surrounding him, making him radiate softly.

I watch him fondly. My heart feeling full at the mere sight of him.

"Can I get you anything?" He had caught me looking at him, immediately coming over to me. His cheeks tinted slightly rosy.

I put on my best charm, smiling cutely at him. "Could I get your number?"

"I feel like we've met before," he says through a smile, pausing to think about it "do we know each other?"

"Maybe our hearts are old friends."

"I like that." He pulls a notebook from his apron pocket, scribbling something down on it before handing me a slip of paper with a wink. "Text me sometime? I'd like it if our hearts could be new friends too." The warmth radiating from Doyoung is blinding and even when he walks away from me I can still feel the heat.

Even though he's forgotten our past, he can picture our future and that's all that matters to me. Because I know that no matter what happens, I would fall in love with Kim Doyoung over and over again.
