Chapter 15: Who's That Pixelmon?

*Ez's POV*

The others did a good job with the distraction. Now it's our turn to do our part. We follow my charmanders tail light deeper into the cave. After a few minutes Mo stops, Jason looks at her.

"Come on Mo, we gotta keep moving." He said.

"Hold on. Listen. Do you hear that?" Mo replies.

We all go quiet and listen. I hear soft ragged breaths not far from us. Mo takes off towards the sound, the rest of us hot on her tail. She leads us to a dead end of the cave and there lying on the ground a face a deathly white, is Mitch.

*Mo's POV*

"Mitch!" We cry and I run over next to him.

He's very pale and has his hoodie wrapped around his waist. He's sweating like he has a bad fever and he's got three bad bites, two on his arms and one on the back of his neck.

"Guys! I need milk! It'll stop the poison!" I cry.

Jason runs over and hands me a bucket of milk. I carefully help Mitch raise his head enough to help him drink. He's shaking so bad it's hard to not spill but I manage to get him to drink enough to stop the poison.

"Is he going to be ok?" Ty asks.

"I think so." I reply. "We need to get him home where he can rest."

Mitch coughs and sputters and his eyes flutter open.

"G-guys?" He croaks.

"Hang on Mitch, I'm going to heal these bites so they don't get infected." I tell him.

I start with the one on the back of his neck. I pull my bracelet off my wrist and onto the palm of my hand and place it over the bite, which is swelling and the skin around it is turning purple due to the irritation from the venom. My bracelet starts to glow a light pink which causes my hand to glow. I keep my hand on it for a few moments and then take it away. The swelling decreased by a lot and the skin turned from purple to red. That's good. I do the same thing to the bites on his arms and then I put some bandages over the bites.

"Th-thanks." Mitch manages to say.

"Your welcome. Now let's get you out of here."

I start helping him stand up but he's shaking so bad I'm afraid he'll collapse. I put his arm around my shoulders so he can use me like a crutch. Jason walks over to Mitch's other side and puts his other arm around his shoulders.

"Alright, let's get out of here." Jason says.

Ez pauses and looks around.

"What's wrong Ez?" I ask.

"Where's Ty!?" She exclaims.

Jason and I look around. Great, this was the last thing we needed. We need to find Ty or Sky's gonna flip. But where'd he go?

*Ty's POV*

While Mo was healing Mitch I thought I saw something move in a small cavern to our right. So I went to check it out thinking I'd be right back but I accidentally wandered farther inside and now I can't find my way back. It's so dark that I can't see and I'm scared.

"Ez? Mo? Jason?" I say looking around hoping for an answer but I don't hear or see them.

"Guys?!" I cry quietly not wanting to attract the attention of any pixelmon. But I do the opposite. I hear the squeaking of zubats coming this way and I scoot into a corner and go still and quiet, hoping they'll fly by.

I see the flapping of their wings coming this way. I hold my breath and when they seem like they're going to fly past me, one of their wings brushes my cheek and I yelp. The zubats hear me and turn my direction and start coming towards me. I throw my hands up ready to protect my face.

"HELP!!!" I yell as I pull out my stone sword ready to defend myself.

But as they charge me another zubat flies out of nowhere blocking their path. The zubats freeze and flap their wings so they're flying in one place. They squeak at the solo flying ones and my headphones glow faintly as they pick up what they're saying.

'It is a trespasser! It must be dealt with!'

The solo flying zubat didn't squeak or anything it just flapped it's wings and stared at the other zubats. One from the group charged it and the solo one spun around and wing attacked down wards, it hit the ground and died.

Something was different about this zubat. Why was it helping me? The other zubats went silent and flew off deeper into the cave where they came from. The solo zubat giggled and flew down by me where I could see it better. It looked like a normal zubat except it had a small mischievous grin and a tail. A tail?! Zubats don't have tails! I jump up and grip my sword. The 'zubat' giggles and starts to glow.

*Ez's POV*

"HELP!!!" I heard Ty yell from a small cavern to the right. I look at Jason and Mo who are basically holding Mitch up. If Ty's in trouble, them trying to keep up while keeping Mitch on his feet would be near impossible. They looked back at me and nodded.

"Come on charmander, cyndaquil." I said, but they were already heading towards the small cavern. I blink and run after them following the flame on my charmanders tail.

I follow them until another glowing thing caught my attention. And Ty was right in front of it! I stare wide eyed at the glowing thing and I suddenly felt very dizzy and light headed. I fall to my knees and put my hand on my head but it gets worse. My vision blurs and everything goes black.

~dream/vision~

I open my eyes to find myself in a room a long hallway that has many cells full of pixelmon. 'What is this place?' I think as I walk down the hallway. I hear voices coming this way and I hide in the shadows. Three shadows come out from deeper in the hallway, I can't tell any features because they only look like shadows but I know two were human the third looked really strange. One of the humans was pulling a small shadow of a pixelmon on a leash, well more like dragging. The little pixelmon whimpered and a large dark gray pixelmon with black and red tints and almost like red hair pulled back in a kind of pony and blue eyes slammed on the cell door with a loud clang.

"Now now zoroark," one of the men said. "You wouldn't want us to do anything to your precious angel here would you?" The mans voice was deep and echoey and it didn't sound right.

The zoroark growled but stopped clearly not wanting any harm to come to the smaller pixelmon.

The second man pulled out a gun like contraption and aimed it at zoroark. "What's this one suppose to do?" He asked. His voice nowhere near as deep as the other mans.

"I'll show you." The other man replied as he took out his own gun like thing and shot a milktank in a nearby cell.

The milktank howled in pain as it started to morph and mutate into a zombie. Eventually it's moos turned into groans and I had to look away.

"Sadly that's a glitch, most of the time it turns it into a full mob not just a mutation."

"Incredible!"

"Soon we'll take over the legendaries and rule minecraftia!"

I looked over at the what used to be milktank and then to the zoroark. It's eyes were filled with fury and rage and it's hands started to glow black. It let out a cry and slammed on the cell door and it busted off. The man holding the smaller pixelmon dropped the leash and it saw it's chance and started to run but stopped and turned back as the other man pulled out another gun that looked different and a bit more advanced and shot the zoroark. Zoroark wailed in pain as it tried fighting the morph that turned out to be a wither skeleton. The small pixelmon made a cry like 'NO!' Zoroark looked at the small pixelmon with sad eyes and made a noise that sounded like 'GO!' And the little pixelmon whimpered and ran away.

Zoroark continued trying to fight the wither skeleton mutation but it was losing, the mutation was taking over. When zoroark couldn't fight it anymore it looked like something out of a horror movie. It was the shape of zoroark with the claws and teeth and it's blue eyes turned to red but it was a wither skeleton.

Zoroark charged at the two men with teeth bared and claws out ready to kill, but the third creature started glowing blue as did zoroark and zoroark froze. Zoroark struggled trying to attack the men but the glowing figure pushed it back into the cell and fixed the door and put like a magic barrier on it so it couldn't break out again. Watching this made my stomach sick, this was cruel and we had to stop it. These three were the reason there were barley any pixelmon and they need to be stopped.

My head started to pound and I felt dizzy. I lean against the wall and close my eyes ready to awaken from this nightmare or vision or whatever it was. I hear the voices muffle out and everything goes black.
