A/N: hello my muffins! That is my new name for you guys and gals if you didn't know, but I come with chapter 13! I haven't updated in awhile and I'm sorry, I moved... Across the street which was a bit stressful and I've been busy so very sorry but I am back! And here we go!

Chapter 13: Battle plan

*Jason's POV*

I lead the others deeper into the cave to the lava pool. One of them rebuilt the bridge and seeing that Jerome is asleep I bet it was Mo.

"Mo?!" Ez calls.

Mo jumps up and looks at us. "You found them!"

I nod and we all cross the bridge. Ryan runs over to Jerome.

"He fell asleep, wake him up." Mo says.

Ryan gently shakes Jerome's shoulder. "Wake up Jerome."

Jerome moans in protest and rolls over. Ryan sighs and looks at squirtle and whispers something. Squirtle stands up and uses water gun right in Jerome's face. Jerome jumps up with a start.

"Cold! Cold!" He cried.

We all laugh while Jerome sits there dripping wet with his arms crossed doing a fake pout.

"I really don't see what's so funny." Jerome mutters as he shakes himself dry.

"Ok, now that Jerome's awake we have to find Mitch and get out of here." Ez says.

Jerome nods. "Yes."

"Jason?" Ryan asks. I look at him. "Do you know where Mitch is?"

I hesitate. I know where the cobblestone I mined out is but I don't know if that's where Mitch is but that's probably our best option to look.

"Hey before we do that, let's introduce the fiosh." Sky pipes in.

"I told you I'm not a fish, I'm an amphibian." Quentin says stepping forward.

Mo and Jerome look at Quentin. "Hi." They both say.

"Hi, I'm Quentin." Quentin greets.

"Your a mudkip mutant!" Mo says with a smile.

Quentin smiles and nods.

"My names Mo, nice to meet you!"

"Hi! I'm Jerome and I'm a bacca!" Jerome says using his traditional greeting.

"Nice to meet you." Quentin says.

"Same!" Mo and Jerome reply.

"Ok, now that everyone knows everyone, how do we find Mitch?" Ryan asks again.

Out of the corner of my eye I see Mo bite her lip.

"What's wrong Mo?" Ez asks.

Mo walks over to Ez and whispers something in her ear. What did she not want everyone to hear? Maybe something about Mitch? Ez's facial expression doesn't change and she just nods.

"Ok, so what's the plan?" Sky asks.

"Could we try to reason with it?" Ty suggested.

"I don't think you can just reason with pixelmon Ty. But good idea though." Ryan points out.

Everyone pauses to think. Just running in there would be a horrible idea. Someone could get hurt.

"I've got an idea." Ez says.

"Let's hear it." Sky replies.

"Well some of us could cause a distraction while the others find Mitch and get him out of there."

"That's a good idea." Ryan says. "Just how would we do it?"

Ez grins. "Sky, Ryan, Jerome and Quentin while Mo, Jason, Ty and I can sneak around and find Mitch."

"No way!" Sky shouts.

"What? What's wrong?" Ez asks puzzled.

"I won't be able to see Ty!"

I decide to step in, I know that Sky and Ty are basically brothers and Sky would never want anything to happen to Ty. "Sky, we won't let Ty leave our sight. I promise, he's safe with us." I tell him.

He stares at me for a minute and then nods and turns to Ty. "Please be careful."

Ty gives him a goofy grin and a thumbs up. "I will."

"Are we ready now?" Ryan asks.

"Just about Ryan." Ez says patting his head like a puppy which causes Mo, Sky and Jerome to laugh and we all follow suit.

"Oh, one more thing." Mo says softly.

"What?" Sky asks.

"You can kill pixelmon with weapons apparently now, so have those ready."

"You can?!" The others asked.

"Yeah, Mitch shot the zubat with an arrow." Jerome adds.

"Huh? So we can fight our way out if we need to." Sky said.

"Apparently." Jerome answers.

"That means we can fight too, not just our pixelmon." I add.

Everyone nods.

"Alright, everyone ready?" Ez asks.

We all nod and move our weapons to our hot bars.

"Then lead the way Jason." Ez tells me.

I nod and start leading the others deeper into the cave to where I mined out the cobblestone. Behind me I hear Jerome mutter.

"We're coming biggums."
