Chapter 1: Early Morning Fail

*Mo's POV*

I was awakened to my mom gently shaking my shoulder telling me to wake up. I sit up with a yawn and rub my eyes. My mom is standing in front of me with a smile on her face, "Good morning sleepy head." She said.

I stretch my arms over my head, "Good morning," I say, she gives me a teasing frown. "Don't you remember what day it is?" She asks.

I think for a moment, but before I can answer there's a loud knock at our door.

*Ez's POV*

I'm up before anyone else in my house at about dawn. I look out my window and watch as the pixel sun begins to rise into the sky. I feel a grin spread across my face, I've been waiting for this day for awhile, the day where Mo and I get our first pixelmon and we go on an adventure together! I have my heart set on a charmander, they're just so cute!

I rummaged around my room grabbing things that I actually crafted for our adventure, things like: Tools, food, pokeballs and a survival kit just in case. I didn't realize how much noise I was making until my mom came into my room.

"Well someone's up early," she says.

I grin. "Of course I'm up early! This is one day I can't be late for." I reply.

She smiles and gives me a hug. "You have fun, and don't die," she whispers teasingly.

I smiled, "Mo won't let that happen," I looked over at my clock sitting next to my bed, it read 9:30! Mo and I were supposed to meet the professor at 10:00! I pull away from my mom, "I have to go get Mo!" I say as I rush past her and out the door to Mo's house.

*Mo's POV*

I ran around my room grabbing items I'd need and putting them in my inventory. When I finished I run downstairs to see a grinning Ez standing in my living room.

I run up and give her hug. She had been talking about this for awhile and she was super excited that I didn't even bother asking if she was ready; I figured she was. She was wearing her usual outfin of an olive gree hoodie, shorts and knee high boots. She has her black rimmed and red lensed goggles, kinda like an alchemist and she had black hair with white side swept bangs.

I had blonde hair (which I braided this morning) that fell just past my shoulders. I was wearing my light gray leggings with a light pink t-shirt with a pig on it with my black zip up hoodie tied around my waist. I also had a silver and light pink bracelet around my wrist which I got for a present when I was little.

Ez grinned at me. "I can't believe out of all the days you chose to sleep in, you chose today!" She cried.

"Sorry," I say sarcastically, "I couldn't sleep last night, I was too excited!"

"Me too!"

We both laughed at our restless night and my mom was giving me the guilt look for staying up so late. "I'll go to bed early tonight," I promised. She smiled and I gave her a hug, told her I loved her and walked out the door with my friend.
