The following day...

Ulrich, Mira, William, Emily, Zack, Micheal, Kyle, Tori, Isabel, and Roy have met up at the usual log in just after lunch.

Roy: "Another day, another boss to kill!"

Emily: "Plus, once this one gets taken care of, we move onto the Silver Tier."

Ulrich: "Silver Tier?"

Micheal: "Well, the 12 bosses are split up into four Tiers, 1, 2, and 3 are Bronze, which are easy, 4, 5, and 6 are Silver, so medium, 7, 8, and 9, are Gold so they're hard, leaving 10 and the newly added 11 and 12 as Platinum, very hard."

Mira: "Wait... we've been going easy?!"

Isabel: "Walker really bumped up the difficulty for these bosses."

Ulrich: "Rank 2 KO'd Caleb and Serena!"

Kyle: "(awkwardly) S-Seriously?"

That just made the others 10 times more terrified.

Kyle: "Well uh, would you look at that! I need to go and-"

Micheal grabs Kyle's shirt and drags him into the login.

Mira: "Let's just log in and forget everything that happened here."

The ID Glove users head inside while the others log in.

However...

The man is getting ready to use the file he stole on a small laptop while hiding in the back corner of a run down apartment.

Man: "(twitching) I'll just give Walker a warning shot before the world becomes mine for the taking!"

The file is loading.

Man: "(cackling) It's over Walker! It was over the moment you became what you despised!"

A short while later...

Everyone is currently server surfing over to Gamma.

Zack: "Ready for some snow?"

Ulrich: "W-Wait what?!"

In that instant, they get swept in a snowstorm that isn't that cold oddly enough.

Mira: "Guess they really want you to know what server you're on at any given time!"

They can see the snowy shore ahead.

William: "We're here!"

They arrive at the edge before hopping off their boards, allowing them to take in the snowy dawn.

Tori: "Gotta love it."

Mira: "I doubt he does."

Ulrich is completely shaken by the ride.

Isabel: "Uh... is he okay?"

Kyle: "Oh yeah... Ulrich has a fear of the ocean and doesn't like snow..."

Roy: "Seriously? I didn't expect that."

Mira gives Ulrich a good shake.

Mira: "Come on Ulrich! Pull yourself together!"

Ulrich is then dragged off by Roy.

Roy: "We'll get his head on straight when we get inside the Rank 3 ruins."

Micheal: "I'll lead us there."

Micheal goes ahead.

Micheal: "But let's make sure their defenses are good. This boss can deal quite a bit of damage if you aren't looking."

Emily: "Fine by me."

They head into town for supplies.

A little while later...

They've dragged Ulrich to a passage leading to some underground ruins.

Kyle: "Aaaand in you go!"

They toss Ulrich inside, snapping him out of his trance.

Ulrich: "(awkwardly) U-Uh I uh..."

Mira: "Save it for later."

The other follow and move ahead as Ulrich gets to his feet.

Tori: "Can you handle Rank 3?"

Ulrich grabs his wrench as he catches up.

Ulrich: "I'm fine. We'll make it."

The other glance towards him.

Micheal: "I hope so. If these guys really are that difficult, we'll have to restart a couple times."

Ulrich prepares a couple mines.

Emily: "But I don't remember what this boss' new ability is."

They make a couple turns before bumping into a dimly lit arena.

Kyle: "Well, we're about to find out!"

The others ready their weapons as they step into the arena.

Isabel: "And I don't think anyone is going to like it."

The air is growing even colder.

Roy: "Uh oh..."

A large, white armored bat descends from the ceiling in front of them, creating ice shards upon contact with the floor.

Mira: "Of course this thing would use ice!"

Zack and Micheal are igniting a wall of flames in front of them to keep the ice at bay.

Micheal/ Zack: "(struggling) This mist is crazy strong!"

The others are beginning to slip from the wind.

Isabel: "(struggling) Hold on tight guys!"

Isabel lodges her claws into the ground as Roy does the same with his scythe.

Ulrich and Mira grab on, but the others are too far away.

Emily: "(struggling) I would if I-"

William, Emily, Kyle, and Tori are sent flying into the wall, halving their HP.

Zack: "Tori!"

The wind dies down as the others fall to the floor, only for their HP to drop even more.

Tori: "(coughing) Not dead yet!"

The others ready for a fight.

Mira: "Let's go ahead and even the playing field a bit."

Ulrich scatters his mines all over the place.

Ulrich: "Already did! Just watch your step!"

The range users are trying to get back on their feet.

Kyle: "(in pain) We're com-"

Ice skewers the injured through the chest, forcing a respawn for all four.

Roy: "Guys!"

The boss is getting back into the air, it's wing flaps turning the floor into ice.

Micheal: "It's freezing the whole room and we can't reach that thing without the others!"

Isabel: "(struggling) So do we call it quits?"

The bat crashes into the ground, pinning Micheal and Roy beneath it.

Ulrich: "Nope!"

Ulrich gets on his hands and knees as Mira rushes up towards him.

Mira: "We've got this!"

Mira bounds off Ulrich's back and slugs the boss with an uppercut, sending it flying into a wall and off Micheal and Roy.

Zack: "Whoa!"

The boss crashes into Ulrich's mine field, causing it's health to rapidly drop after each explosion.

Roy: "Talk about insane!"

Mira is falling with her ID Card out.

Mira: "Let's wrap this up!"

Ulrich leaps into the air and gets the card to swipe through it's slot.

Ulrich: "With pleasure!"

They get enveloped in a black light.

Zack: "Since when are these two the best team we've gotten?"

Isabel: "Don't ask me."

The two have initiated Bio-Link as the boss slams them into the opposing wall while pinning them down.

Ulrich/ Mira: "Sorry, but you'll have to try better than that!"

A mine is sent flying onto the boss' face before it explodes and releases them.

Micheal: "Get him guys!"

The others have returned to the fight just in time to see Ulrich and Mira beat the everliving shit out of the boss.

William: "Wh-What the hell did we miss?!"

Roy: "I think you're seeing it."

The Bio-Link is running out.

Ulrich/ Mira: "We'll finish this in one shot!"

However, the Bio-Link forces them to separate.

Tori: "Oh no! They've already split!"

Mira: "You think that's a problem?"

Ulrich and Mira lunge towards the boss as it tries to freeze them over.

Emily: "It's gonna KO you guys! Get out of there!"

Ulrich creates another mine as Mira readies a final punch.

Ulrich/ Mira: "We've got this under control!"

Their HP may be dropping rapidly, but they're pushing even harder.

Kyle: "(in head) Ulrich..."

Ulrich plants the mine on it's chest as Mira's fist smashes through it's skull, dropping it's HP to 0.

William: "Nice one!"

They bump up to Lv23.

Ulrich: "Eh, it was nothing."

They look towards them in awe.

Zack: "I swear you guys are too good at this game."

Mira: "Remember? We still haven't gone against a Silver Tier. We could get our asses handed to us."

They all get ready to log out.

Tori: "Guess Cole, Robert, Risa, and Yukiko get to see how good you really are."

They all log out...
