Two days later ...

It's the final day of Walker's time limit. Ulrich, Mira, Anthony, Edo, Cole, Robert, Andrea, and Serena are stepping up to the plate today. They're already on their way to the Login.

Anthony: "Let's show this cybernetic birdbrain who's boss!"

Ulrich: "Cybernetic?"

Serena: "You'll uh ... you'll see when we get there."

Look: "Now you're just making us more curious!"

Edo: "We can't go spoiling surprises just yet."

They stroll up to the Login.

Cole: "Just wait and see."

They all prepare for their departure.

Meanwhile ...

Walker is beginning to panic. Currently Ulrich and Mira are only fighting Rank 5, not even halfway there while Walker's time limit nears it's final moments.

Walker: "Is my suicide the only way to save the world?"

Walker looks out his window.

Walker: "Put Shining Hope in a living hell? Caleb without a family? This company spiraling back to square one?"

I have punches the window.

Walker: "Damn it all! What the hell do I do ?!"

A short while later ...

Everyone is currently riding their boards on the ocean with a sense of curiosity overtaking the newcomers.

Ulrich: "So you're STILL not going to talk about why you said cybernetic?"

Andrea: "Just wait a liiiiittle bit longer ..."

Their boards tip upwards.

Look: "Wh-What ?!"

Edo: "Going up!"

They zoom into the heavens at breakneck speeds.

Ulrich: "Where the hell are we going ?!"

They can see the stars as they rocket towards a city glowing with a rainbow of lights on the moon.

Cole: "We're heading for the moon!"

Ulrich / Mira: "WHAT THE HELL ??? !!!"

Anthony: "Hell yeah! We got 'em!"

They arrive at the edge of the city, with Ulrich and Mira looking like they just witnessed the end of the world.

Serena: "Uh ... are you two okay?"

Look: "(dazed) Yeah ..."

Cole and Robert snap the two back to reality.

Robert: "Hey uh ... we have places to be remember?"

Ulrich: "O-Oh yeah, Rank 5."

They walk into the vast wasteland before them.

A good while later ...

The heroes are coming up to a large crater in the moon's surface the size of a half dozen football fields with an arch leading inside.

Edo: "(twirling pistol) Looks like we've got our arena."

Cole readies his cannon.

Cole: "Robert get our front guard all set?"

They all ready their weapons as they step inside.

Andrea: "Let's see just how tough this thing really i-"

A large, metallic doorway closes up the entrance to the arena, trapping them inside.

Anthony: "H-Huh ?! No one can join in mid fight for Rank 5 ?!"

A robotic roar echoes all around them.

Ulrich: "Looks like it!"

The shadow of a griffon soars in front of the sun, it's targets having been acquired.

Cole: "Robert! Now!"

A dome of blue ice forms around the group as the robotic griffon smashes it's face against the wall, already taking out a chunk of HP.

Edo: "Nice one guys! Already got a bite out of the thing!"

It rises back into the air before making a second dive towards them with it's claws ready to strike.

Ulrich: "More like a short-lived victory! Get back!"

The beast grabs the ice barrier and starts pumping the barrier with electricity, zapping everyone as their health starts to quickly drop.

Serena: "(in pain) We'll lose if this keeps up!"

Anthony and Edo blast a hole in the barrier, allowing everyone to get out in time, but they're all going to get a forced respawn if they get hit once.

Andrea: "What kind of damage does this thing have ?!"

It gets back in the air.

Edo: "Be careful guys! One hit and any one of us is finished!"

Cole: "Robert, you and I need to keep Ulrich and Mira alive!"

Robert: "I hear you loud and clear!"

The two tanks stand guard by Ulrich and Mira.

Cole: "I'd hope you two don't have to bite the bullet."

Anthony: "We're the ones shooting bullets!"

Look: "It's a figure of speech you dingus!"

The air is cackling with electricity as Ulrich creates some aerial drones.

Ulrich: "(deep breath) One slip and it's all over."

Robert: "You two get our chances."

The drones fire at the boss as it dives towards him.

Andrea: "Ulrich!"

Ulrich dives at the last second to avoid damage.

Ulrich: "I'm okay!"

He grits his teeth trying to get some mines all set to go boom.

Edo: "No way in hell we can keep this up!"

The boss is making a corkscrew dive straight for the center of the group, a spiral of lightning behind it.

Mira: "Well, we gotta or else we're screwed!"

Cole and Robert shove Ulrich and Mira out of the way.

Anthony: "What're you doing?!"

The boss dove for them at lightning speed.

Cole/ Robert: Saving the day!"

The boss crashed into the center of the group, wiping out Robert and Cole, with a shockwave taking Andrea, Serena, and Edo with it.

Remaining 3: "GUYS!!!"

The boss bolted back up into the air as it's feathers cackled with electricity.

Anthony: "Crap, crap, crap, CRAP!!! We are FUCKED!!!"

Ulrich: "Yeeeeah we probably are..."

Mira glanced down at her ID Card as electric feathers rained down from above.

Mira: "Anthony, we gotta Bio-Link now!"

Anthony: "Why me?!"

Mira weaves through the feathers to get to Anthony.

Mira: "We need range to hit that thing and you and Ulrich Bio-Link!"

Ulrich is running around like his ass is on fire in a cartoon to avoid damage.

Ulrich: "Just do it before any of us get KO'd!"

Mira leaped towards Anthony with her card out, Anthony shakily holding his arm out.

Anthony: "Hurry!"

Mira swiped her card just before they got hit, making them immune to damage as the boss halts it's attack, allowing Ulrich to catch a break.

Anthony/ Mira: "It's over!"

A series of bullets cackling with black electricity went flying upwards at the boss, it's counter futile as the bullets tore through.

Anthony/ Mira: "One fell swoop!"

In that instant, a single bullet shot through the skull, it's HP hitting 0 instantly.

Ulrich: "Whoa..."

The two split apart as the newcomers shot up a few levels.

Mira: "That was..."

Anthony: "AWESOME!!!"

They awkwardly stare at Anthony...
