The following day...

Walker is currently surveying Ulrich and Mira's performance against Rank 3 very early in the morning.

Walker: "This is an unusual amount of synergy. It has to be more than the presence of an RX Gene."

He's trying to see any anomalies in the fight.

Walker: "(thinking) What is it?"

However...

The man is currently working on tapping into the electrical mainframe of TRHQ.

Man: "(cackling) Yes, yes, yes! Here we go!"

He uploads a sort of virus directly into the mainframe.

Man: "(cackling) A warning shot, then I'll go ahead and remind him!"

One hour later...

Walker has replayed the footage over and over again and found nothing.

Walker: "Just what am I missing here? I'm just going in cir-"

The power completely cuts out.

Walker: "A power outage?"

Everything has been shut off.

Walker: "I'll go ahead and message-"

His phone is out of battery all of a sudden, despite having a full charge just minutes ago.

Walker: "What the hell? Is my battery failing that badly?"

The power comes back on.

Walker: "Bizarre..."

He plugs his phone in, only to be greeted by a familiar face on his monitor.

Man: "(smirking) How long has it been Walker?"

Walker's heart sinks with fear.

Walker: "N-Nyel?!"

Nyel: "Oh it's me all right Walker, I'm back as the sole survivor of Hack 01."

Walker: "H-How?! I completely shut down the respawn program during the final stand!"

Nyel: "Oh, but it came back online just in time to save my life."

Walker backs away from the monitor.

Nyel: "Now I'm back after hiding for years to finally take what's rightfully mine!"

Walker: "And that is?"

Nyel begins to chuckle.

Nyel: "(chuckling) Your life."

Walker: "You won't kill me that easily."

Nyel: "No, either you kill yourself, or I unleash Project Black."

Walker is beginning to panic.

Walker: "(panicking) Y-You can't unleash Project Black! It'll destroy the world as we know it!"

Nyel: "You have one week Walker. If I don't find your body on the news, then this whole world is going to completely shut down."

Nyel's face leaves the monitor.

Walker: "(calming down) I need to message Shining Hope."

Walker gets back on his computer.

Walker: "I need those two new members to get stronger while I try to locate Nyel!"

He types up a message to the others to meet up later that day.

Walker: "But if I die, then there will be no one who can watch Caleb, or who can properly manage Tomorrow's Reality. Plus..."

His hand freezes as he's about to push Enter.

Walker: "(horrified) ... can I really kill myself?"

He pushes Enter...
