The seven walk up to a small shop next door to the login.

William: "Who's ready to explain this?"

Micheal: "(annoyed) You're not going to put them through that bullshit!"

The four step inside.

Isabel: "Do augments have something to do with these holes in our ID Gloves?"

Isabel points to the four slots in her ID Glove.

Andrea: "You buy augments using actual money in these shops."

Robert passes the two a small computer chip each.

Robert: "Defense up and Agility up, just put them in the slots and they activate small buffs that can be further upgraded via Augment Points."

Anthony: "You earn those via side quests."

Kyle: "Only a max of four though."

Anthony got Defense up as Isabel got Agility up.

Isabel: "We may not have money right now, but we get chore money every Friday."

Micheal: "(relieved) Thank god you weren't sounding like your talking to a newborn."

Andrea notices the time.

Andrea: "We have to get home Michael!"

Micheal: "Shit! Dinner is in ten minutes!"

Twins: "We forgot that our brother needs us to be ready for school!"

The seven split off for the day, and ten minutes later...

Twins: "(sweating) We're back!"

Liam was sitting in a dining room chair on a laptop.

Liam: "(mumbling) So the RX gene is a rare mutation that increases reaction and response times. But why does my boss require these?"

Anthony: "Liam?"

Liam: "(startled) Y-Your back?"

Isabel: "We got gem weapons today!"

Liam: "I guess Borian did as instructed."

Anthony: "Borian?"

Liam: "My colleague and..."

Anthony: "And?"

Liam: "The reason why you were gifted gem weapons is because of a common, desired trait in Shining Star."

Isabel: "I heard you mention the RX gene, is that it?"

Liam: "As sharp as ever. I don't know why the trait is desired, but they gifted you gem weapons and me the second highest rank because of it."

Anthony: "Can I eat, sleep, then think on it tomorrow?"

Liam: "We all need to be on point tomorrow. Leftovers tonight though..."
