So Quiet

Everything was so quiet.

You could hear another's heartbeat if you listened hard enough.

So quiet.

Anti filled the silence with whatever he could try to find to watch on the TV. All that he could find, though, were old memories or videos from Sean's channel.

It was so frustrating.

To be reminded all the time.

Stuck in Sean's head like a doll waiting to be let out of the closet.

Everyone else was let out so why not him!?

Not like he'd cause TOO much trouble . . . . .

Oh who was he kidding?

He'd wreak havoc and he knew it.

Still, they've all been gone for a long time.

Everything was so quiet

Did Sean make the decision to keep them all out except for him?

The very thought started to hurt.

'No, surely that's not the case. Sean wouldn't be able to handle all of them at the same time, anyway. Definitely not Jackie and his self-righteous bullshit'

And he liked to think they liked him SOMETIMES.

'Chase would at least stick up for me, right?'

It was the only thought hanging in the air that kept him sane.

'Let's see. . . its been a couple weeks now, right?'

At first he enjoyed the silence.

But now . . . . .

Even the silence was starting to accumulate a sort of annoying sound.

Like static in the air.

Some would think he'd like the sound.

But it was starting to burn through his ears.

So much so that he'd fill the silence with anything. Even Sean's videos.

"Bastards are probably having such a laugh leaving me out of everything."

Or even his own voice.

A couple of weeks ago was the incident.

A few days after his itching had persisted to drive him mad.

He had to get rid of it somehow.

So he made them all leave.

So was it his fault, then, that he was now alone?

He wouldn't have to wait much longer, though.

'They left all their things. Everything's all still in their rooms'

He thought about snooping but then again, he never knew when they'd show back up. They could just be WAITING for him to fuck up.

Were they all just messing with him?

Was this his punishment?

'Well maybe I'll just have to punish them again' he thought to himself.

He was watching Sean's scary games playlist. It was his favorite selection of games.

His favorite one was called, 'I Remember This Dream' It was so dark and creepy. The sound design and images were so uncomfortable but he liked it like anyone else would enjoy a scary movie. They really nailed the 'dream' feeling of it all.

He felt like he was in a dream right now, too.

It felt just like yesterday that the incident happened.

They all fought with each other.

Anti was sure nothing too bad happened.

And then they all just left.

Sean must have removed them, afraid that Anti would kill him.

But if Anti killed them, they'd just come back to life, right? They were apart of Sean's imagination. They couldn't die so long as Sean willed it. Not that Anti ever actually succeeded in trying.

'They're just all fucking with me. Making me MISS them' he snarled at himself at the thought, 'Disgusting. Idiots don't know me at all. I can be without them forever! I don't need them!'

He swore suddenly he could hear something upstairs.

Anti muted the TV and listened, 'Maybe it's Marvin? Did he finally come to get his things? I'll sneak up on him!'

He bolted up and glitched to Marvin's room just outside the door, pushing his ear up to it to listen more.

He SWORE he had heard something before.

But the longer he stood there waiting, the more ridiculous he felt.

'I should just bust in and surprise him. Maybe he's laying in bed chilling, trying to bait me!'

His heartbeat was the only thing he heard though. His loud heartbeat and nothing else.

Desperate for anything, Anti bust open the door.

"Ah-HAH!"

Only . . . .

No one was there.

Everything was just as they had left it.

Not a single thing had been moved.

Anti swallowed, his mouth turning dry, 'Just my imagination?'

He suddenly grew angry with himself, glitching in his frustration. Why was he so angry!? He didn't really care, did he!?

His neck started to bleed again.

It had been doing that a lot lately and Henrik hadn't been around to help him bandage it. He had gotten better at it now, though.

Anti couldn't wait to rub it in Henrik's face when they came back.

Finally accepting no one was in Marvin's room, Anti left, closing the door behind him softly.

He barely pat the blood away with this shirt as he walked.

The sound of his footsteps were ominous but comforting at the same time. Sometimes he found himself walking or pacing more just to fill the silence.

The silence really was starting to bother him.

He was used to everyone's shouting and the bustling movement filling the house.

Jameson's dancing.

Chase and Jackie's playfulness with the Nerf guns around the house, attacking and running after each other like children.

Henrik's tapping foot in the kitchen as he waited for the coffee to brew.

Marvin's humming as he chilled on the sofa practicing card tricks.

Anti wouldn't admit he missed all of it.

Did they really have to all leave without him like that?

Every time he thought about it, he got angrier.

It wasn't fair.

They hated him, too and yet he always tolerated them, right? He had been doing so good with not trying to murder them.

Ignoring that itch under his skin.

Forcing himself to forget the nightmares of their corpses on the floor.

Anti laughing and playing in their blood like the insane freak he was. That Sean created him to be.

He hated those nightmares.

And yet he loved them.

He was so messed up.

No wonder they all left him alone. Anti wondered when they'd come back.

It was so quiet.
