"Wow, you're a nerd ?", a sudden voice implied, causing me to flinch in surprise.

"No, I am not a nerd, I am simply a person who happens to take a liking in algebra problems thank you very much-". I replied, not amused. turned around to find the one and only. Abhishek leaning against the doorframe.

"Well, if you're not a nerd, answer me this-I've been wondering about this for a long time now", he started.

"Okay, shoot", I stated with a bit of confidence.

."What was up with theperson who invented roller coasters? What were they doing? Were they like, wanting to experience horror?". He asked.

"No. Humans have a natural tendency to feel the need to defy gravity". I answered simply, crossing my arms. He lifted his eyebrows in surprise.

"Damn, not bad", he retorted. I smiled, feeling proud that I have impressed him.

"Anymore questions?", you asked, wanting to get back to work.

"No, think I'm good". he replied.

"Wait, why are you here? It's like 4:00, shouldn't you be home or something?"

"Shouldn't you be home?" He asked in a gooty tone. "I'm doing extra work for the teacher. What's your excuse?"

"I had practice"

I nodded, as I got my answer. "You almost done? We could go to Your Favourite Ice Cream Shop" he suggested, setting his stuff down on the floor. I smiled to myself, feeling my cheeks heat up a little.

"Mmm-yeah sure that'd be nice", I said sweetly, puming away my supplies.

"Okay, I gotta shower and put my stuff in my locker and I'll be right back".

I nodded once more and let him go while I finished cleaning up. I had on my favorite black hoodie, shorts, and black & white converse with really really faded light pink ankle high socks. About 15 minutes had passed and Abhay was done getting "freshened up".

I walked out to the hallway and saw him with his damp, set hair, trying to put his shirt on. I looked at him in awe for a moment, catching a glimpse of his toned stomach area before his shirt went over it. My cheeks were heating up again.

"Are you ready?". He asked grabbing his phone and wallet from his locker.

"Mhm" I nodded, pulling a strand of hair behind my ear. Abhay smiled and opened the door for me. "Thank you" I said, earning another smile and nod from his angelic self.

We made it to The ice cream place and sat down, ordering our desserts.

"I'll have a strawberry milkshake, whipped cream, cherry, with bits of nuts and sprinkles on top" he interrupted, catching me by surprise. The waitress looked at me, making sure that was right. I nodded towards her slowly in shock. She smiled, and asked for Abhishek's order, which he told her.

"chocolate milkshake, whipped cream, caramel and fudge drizzle, and a cherry please." She nodded and we thanked her.

"How did you know what I liked here ??" I asked. "You've told me before"
"and you actually remembered." I mumbled very quietly. "Hm?" He hummed.

"Ah, n-nothing." I looked down smiling to myself playing with my fingers under the table. He then chuckled, "you're a very strange girl." "I'm a very random person, you should know that by now" I joked but then froze. "And-stop staring at me like that..", I looked down, blushing with eyebrows furrowed.

"What? Like this " I looked up at his voice, finding him only about 8 inches away from my face, leaning over the table. I felt as if my heart was going to beat out of my chest, he was so close. Too freaking close what is he trying to do, kill me?

"mph", I made a strange noise and looked back down immediately covering my face with my sweater paws. "Are you alright?". He asked sweetly. "Uh. I'm fine, I spoke quietly

"Did I scare you?" He said with a giggle, but worryingly. "just caught me by surprise..again." I replied, trying to hide my flushed cheeks.

"what the hell is she doing here? I  heard some whispering and snickering behind abhay. My eyebrows furrowed and my eyes were full of concern. peaked behind him, while he was looking on his phone.

I saw 1.2.3-4 girls sitting 2 booths away from us. But these weren't just any girls: They're all hoes, really. They go to our college, and they don't have good reputations; Getting a new boyfriend every other weekend making fun of other students-disgusting

"Oh no... I sighed, closing my eyes and hiding my face in the collar of my hoodie.

"What's wrong? You need to sneeze?" Abhishek asked, confused.

"No, it's those girls. Don't look now but they're sitting right behind us..."you said.

He turned around dramatically, making it blatantly obvious. "Damn it, abhay" I scolded him through my hoodie.

He turned back around, "why are they looking at you like that?" He asked.

"I don't know!!", I spoke with a frustrated expression. I guess they hate me for some stupid ass reason, asalways but don't question it, I answered, still hiding

"As always??" He asked, pulling down my hood to reveal my pale face:

"Now why would they make fun of such a darling girl." He mumbled, placing his head in his hands as he stares at me for a while. I just sat there, awkwardly.

"U-ummi- don't"

"Hey abhay babe"

"Um hi. He said confused. "Who's your friend? She asked, looking at me with such disgust in her eyes.

"This is shyra my girlfriend" Abhishek answered, confidently I looked up at him as he smiled shyly.

"What? Um. no offense Abhay, but you could do way better." she whispered, as her friends snickered. I stared to tear up at her comment, not realizing that had gotten so sensitive.

"You know what... He could do better" I raised my voice and looked at her. I teared up more, not believing what just came out of my own mouth. "I-I have to go...I'll leave a tip." I slowly got up, wiping my cheek as a tear rolled down.

"Shy ..wait-", Abhi suddenly said. The girl huffed and grabbed my arm, stopping me!

"oh, before you go...don't you want your milkshake-?" She grabbed a leftover glass of ice cream from a booth and poured it on my chest. I gasped, jumping back before a large amount had got on me, for it was freezing. "Oh.oops" she fake pouted.

"HEY, THAT'S ENOUGH, DAMNITI", Abhishek yelled, drawing the attention of everyone in the diner. The girl smirked. "Awe, is abhay babe angry?"

"DON'T CALL ME THAT. Bitch, he yelled but was normal tone in the last part. "What?"

"OH, DID I STUTTER!?" Abhishek was now full on pissed. "Asshole" she huffed at me and left the diner with her friends, snobbishly wiping heroutfit from any ice cream splatter.

"Okay-come here" Abhishek said sweetly. taking me outside. When we were out, he started taking off my hoodie.

"One second", he cleaned the ice cream off of my cheeks as I nodded, shivering. Good thing it was Summer, so I wasn't too cold.

"Gosh look at you. Here", he took off his hoodie and placed it over my head. "-wear mine" he mumbled, smiling, Goodness, his hoodie smelt absolutely wonderful. Or maybe that was the milkshake

"Thank you "I maddenly laughed, looking down at the hoodie. "I-it's a little big. I joked.

"You look better in it than I do, that's for sure", he mumbled, laughing, I smiled and he lightly placed his hands on my cheeks, kissing my soft, lips. I was taken by surprise for a moment but then grabbed the sides of my-his hoodie and deepened the kiss, pulling me closer.

We pulled apart and i immediately becameembarrassed and looked down, with a large grin and blushed cheeks. I was embarrassed as hell so I buried my face into his chest.

"Do you want to eat our milkshakes now-?", he asked, breaking the silence. I kissed his nose. "yes I think that would be lovely" I said with a shy chuckle.

We began to walk but then i stopped dead in my tracks. "Mmm-",

I hummed, looking down. "What's wrong?". Abhay asked, a little worried.

"I need to say something.", I laughed nervously. He tilted his head in response, listening

"I love you, Abhay"

A smile only grew on his face, looking at me in the eyes but looked down at my lips and pulling it together!. Gosh, why does he have to be so adorable

"Don't be so shy, my princess" I chuckled, grabbing his hand.

"I love you too, baby". I grinned as we walked back inside, hand in hand.
