As the Black Pearl sailed near the south bay of Port Royal, Maggie and the crew of the Black Pearl got ready to say goodbye to Elizabeth Swann who was now a Turner by marriage.

Elizabeth walked down from the helm as the crew lowered a longboat into the water.

"Goodbye Poppet" Pintel and Ragetti said.

"Mrs. Turner" Barbossa tipped his hat to her.

She smiled at them, the she stopped in front Maggie near the end of the line standing in front of her father.

"Liz, I'm sorry I was a jerk to you..." Maggie apologized to her. "I guess I should've thought about how you felt before mouthing off. I'll never forget everything you and Will have done for me since the day we met. You guys always watched out for me and now you're married... basically I just wanted to say, I love you guys. Y'know, in a friendly kind of way, not in a two brides and one groom thing! That would be kinda awkward!"

Elizabeth laughed and hugged her. "Thank you, Maggie" she said "Because of you I have adventure in my life... Certainly more than I would've hoped for, but adveture nonetheless." She smiled "you're a very smart and very brave girl, Maggie Sparrow... never lose that."

Elizabeth then looked towards Captain Jack.

"Jack" she told him "It would've never have worked out between us."

"Keep telling yourself that, Darling" Jack smirked.

Elizabeth moved in to give him a kiss goodbye, but Jack held his hands up in defense.

"Once was quite enough!" He told her.

"What does that mean?" Maggie asked.

Captain Jack and Elizabeth glanced at each other.

"Didn't you tell her?" Elizabeth asked.

"I thought you did?" Jack said.

"Tell me what?" Maggie asked.

"Uh... Maggie, Luv..." Jack tried to avoid Maggie's questioning glance. "When Elizabeth chained Daddy to the mast... she distracted me by... kissing me..."

Maggie's eyes widened in shock as she looked between her Father and her best friend. Both had a guilty expression on their face.

"Elizabeth... kissed you...?" She asked her father.

"Aye..." Jack said.

"Lizzie! That's just gross!" Maggie told her. "Look at him! He's not kissable at all! He has smelly rum breath! I've never even seen him brush his teeth before! And his mustache is like a big hairy Caterpillar that just crawls on you lips! Yuck!"

Captain Jack's jaw dropped, surprised at her reaction.

"Oi!" Jack told her "I have feelings too you know! And so does me Caterpillar!"

Elizabeth laughed as she climbed into the longboat and waved to everyone.

Maggie stood near the railing, waving back as the Black Pearl sailed off.

"So where to next?" Maggie asked her Father.

"Tortuga?" Jack asked.

"Tortuga!" Maggie nodded, grinning.

The next afternoon the Black Pearl made port in Tortuga. Captain Jack had went to the Pub for a drink and had just come back with his arms around Scarlett and Giselle. He could finally show off his magnificent vessel to them... and maybe show them the Black Pearl too!

"Granted, it tends to list to port and has been known on occasion to frighten young women" Jack told them "but I promise, you will not be disappointed." (AN: God, I hope he's talking about the Pearl! 😳)

"Is that it?" Giselle asked, "the Black Pearl?"

"It's not very big" Scarlett stated.

"Luv, that is a dingy!" Jack told Giselle "My vessel is magnificent and fierce and huge-ish and... gone. Why is it gone?"

Giselle squinted out to sea "Is that it there?"

"Yes, there it is!" Jack said "Why is it there?" He looked between the two ladies. "It's much larger up close!"

"Jack, You promised to give us a ride!" Scarlett whined.

"I was to be given the first ride!" Giselle.

"What you?" Scarlett asked.

"Better than you!" Giselle snapped.

"Not what he said!" Scarlett told her.

"I never!" Giselle huffed.

Jack strolled away as the argument turned into a cat fight. He found Mr. Gibbs dozing peacefully on the deck.
Jack spilled his rum onto his face to wake him up.

"Mr. Gibbs!" Jack said "Any particular reason why my ship is gone?"

"The ship? We're on the ship!" Gibbs told him lying back down.

Jack rolled his eyes skyward.

Maggie came strolling down the docks with her eyes glued to a peice of paper.

"Maggie!" Jack called to her "What happened to the Pearl!"

"It's right where you left..." Maggie trailed off as she looked up from the paper she was holding. "Oh. Um... Daddy! Bad news, the ship's kinda... gone."

"No! Ye don't say!" Jack said, sarcastically.

"Yeah! Either that or it's invisible!" Maggie told him.

Jack sighed "Where were you?!"

"I was looking for the treasure!" Maggie told him.

"What treasure?" Jack asked.

"The lost treasure that's buried somewhere on Tortuga!" Maggie told him "Barbossa gave me a map and everything!"

Jack looked at the map and sighed heavily.

"Maggie..." he said "When you were looking for the treasure... did you happen to notice that this map was drawn on the back of a grocery list?"

"It was?" Maggie asked. She looked at it. "Oh! So that's what 'Milk, eggs and bread' mean! I thought it was some type ancient code!"

"Jack!" Mr. Gibbs shot up "The ship's gone!"

"Really?!" Jack said sarcastically. He turned to Scarlett and Giselle, who were trying to tear each other's falsely-colored hair out.

"Ladies, will you please shut it!" Jack broke them apart. "Listen to me: Yes, I lied to you. No, I don't love you! Of course it makes you look fat! I've never been to Brussels! It is pronounced e-gre-gious! By the way, no, I've never actually met Pizarro, but I love his pies. And all of this pales to utter insignificance in light of the fact that my ship is once again gone. Savvy?"

Giselle and Scarlett looked at each other. Giselle slapped Jack...

"Strike one!" Maggie cheered.

Then Scarlett slapped Jack...

"Strike two!" Maggie cheered.

Jack then slapped Mr.Gibbs.

"You had that coming!" Maggie cheered.

Mr. Gibbs looked at Jack and shrugged agreeing with Maggie.

"Take what you can!" Mr. Gibbs told him.

"Give nothing back!" Captain Jack finished as they fist-bumped.

Mr. Gibbs went after Scarlett and Giselle. "Tell me ladies... what do you know of sea turtles...?"

Captain Jack sighed.

"Well, you lost the Pearl... but you still have me!" Maggie grinned "And you're dingy... the boat I mean!"

"Yeah, I guess that's all I really need!" Jack tousled her hair.

"Oh! By the way, I figured Barbossa would try something sneaky" Maggie said "So when he wasn't looking I swiped this!"

Maggie then pulled Sao Feng's charts out of the leg of her pants. Jack grinned at how clever his daughter was.

"Aww! My devious little angel!" He cooed, hugging her.

"I prefer devil..." Maggie said "but I see your point!"

Moment's later, Captain Jack and Maggie Sparrow were sailing away from Tortuga on their little boat.

"This will be fun" Jack said, trying to stay optimistic. "A smaller boat means we'll be closer and get to spend more time together."

"I bet I can make you jump overboard by noon tomorrow!" Maggie smirked.

"You're on" Jack grinned "But no asking 'Are we there yet?' a million times over!"

"Deal" Maggie agreed.

Captain Jack looked at his compass and opened a bottle of rum.

"Hey Dad!" Maggie said.

"What?" Jack asked.

"Daddy!" Maggie said.

"What is it?" Jack asked.

"Dad!" Maggie shrieked.

"What?" Jack asked.

"Daddy!"

"What's wrong?"

"Dad!"

"What?"

"Daddy!"

"What's the matter?"

"Daddy!"

"What is it?"

"Daddy!"

"Wha-"

"DADDDDDDDDDYYYY!" Maggie shouted.

"WHAT?!" Jack yelled " What's wrong? What's the matter? What is it, child! What?!"

"I forgot!" Maggie grinned smugly.

"It figures!" Captain Jack sighed. "Just when I get rid of one monkey, I'm stuck with another one!"

"Hey!" Maggie giggled, sitting on her father's lap. "Daddy?"

"Yes, Luv?" Captain Jack asked her.

"If we lost the Black Pearl... does this mean it's the end of our adventures?" Maggie asked.

"No, Luv" Captain Jack smiled, kissing her forehead. "There's still so much more to discover on the horizon."
