Craig's/MiniLadd's POV

Chilled, Nanners, Cartoonz, Gassy, and I all wave the friendly pirates goodbye before going back underwater and swimming towards Mercove. I watch as the ship goes in the same direction we're going. "What are they doing?" "Are they following us?" "Why aren't they turning around?" My friends whisper amongst themselves. I stare at the large ship as it slowly makes it's way towards Mercove. What the actual fuck are they doing?! Are they going where I think they're going?! I quicken my pace, the guys following closely behind me. Once we make it to the Mercove, I see a few Merpeople at the mouth of the cave. All of them are swimming around frantically. We reach the mouth of the Mercove, so I decide to ask a few questions. "Hey! What are you doing? You look like you've seen a shark." I ask a scared mermaid. "No! Much worse! Pirates! Didn't you see them when you were swimming back? They've found the Mercove!" She exclaims fearfully, pointing out at sea. My eyes follow her finger to see Tyler's ship. "Oh, don't worry. Those pirates are friendly towards Merpeople. They aren't like the Black Hooks." I assure her, cringing at the thought of the evil pirates known as Black Hooks. Those pirates are famous for killing, capturing, and selling Merpeople. If they were to find the Mercove, it would be the most catastrophic event in Merhistory! "What do you mean they're friendly?" She questions with an eyebrow raised. "Well, let's just say if they were planning to hurt one of us, they would've already done it." I say with a smile, thinking about my first encounter with Tyler. She looks at me confused, but she doesn't question me any further. I turn away and look back at the ship that is now ten times closer to the cove than it was earlier. What are those fuck tards doing? The pirates answer my question by stopping in front of the cove and dropping their life boats. The all pile into them and row their boats into the cove. All of the Merpeople scramble to get away, aside from me and the guys. They row their boats into the cave and stop at a platform of rocks. They all get out of their boats and jump onto the rocks, admiring the cove. Tyler looks around and stops when he spots me. "Craig!" He squeals with excitement before running over to the edge of the rocks and sitting down, letting his feet hang off the edge in the water. "As happy I am to see you, why are you here?" I ask, swimming over to him. I hop onto the rocks so I'm sitting next to him, my tail swinging around in the water. "Oh, well, Captain Vanoss took me here so we could thank you for saving me back when I fell in the water." He replies. "Why didn't you just say it whenever we saw each other earlier?" I question to which he scratches the back of his neck. "Uh, I kinda forgot." Tyler laughs awkwardly. I giggle at this, making him smile. Out of nowhere, I hear some sort of maniacal laughter. Tyler and I turn out attention to the noise, and see the most adorable sight. Captain Vanoss and another pirate are sitting next to each other. The other pirate it wearing the Vanoss' hat, which is entirely too big for him. Luke is swimming in the water next to them, laughing his ass off. "I think it fits! Maybe you can be captain one day and you can wear my hat!" Captain Vanoss chuckles, pulling the hat up a little so he am look into the pirates eyes. They sit like that, staring to each other, until Vanoss gets up wit the other pirate. "Hey guys! Delirious and I will be right back! We need to discuss something in private!" He announces before dragging the pirate I'm guessing is Delirious to one of the life boats and rowing back to the ship. Aw, that's so cute! I hope I'll be able to have someone like that one day!

Evan's/Vanoss' POV

Once we're on the ship, I grab Jonathan's hand and drag him to my office. "Hey Evan, what are you doing?" Jonathan asks with confusion. I can't believe I'm about to do this, but seeing him in my hat just pushed me overboard. I'm finally going to do it. I'm going to tell him I love him. I just hope shit isn't about to hit the fan... I shut and lock the door behind us and face the boy I've loved for so long. "E-Evan?" Jon stutters nervously. I try to speak, but no words come out. My cheeks flush as I try to think of something to say, but I run out of options. "It'll be better if I just show you." I say with a sigh. "Wha-" Delirious starts, but I pull him to me by the collar of his shirt and bring him into a heated kiss. He tenses before melting into my arms. Jonathan wraps his arms around my neck, so I let go of his shirt and let my arms slither around his waist. His eyes close as mine do the same. I spin us around, not breaking the kiss, and pin him to the wall with a small 'thud'. We separate for a moment to breathe. "You kissed back?" I question him with an eyebrow raised. "Of course I did, dip shit. Do you have any idea how long I've been waiting for that?" He whispers with a husky tone to his voice. My eyes widen. "Hehe, well, you don't have to wait any longer." I whisper back with the same tone he had before pulling him in for another kiss. We separate again to speak. "I love you, Jonathan." I say wit a smile. "I love you too, dip shit." He replies before pulling me into another kiss.
