Slipped Away
~Aya POV~
A pain bloomed in my chest and a warm liquid dribbled down the corners of my mouth. The man simply tossed me like a rag doll yo the edge of the cliff.
Eduardo lunged for my hand. Regret and pain on his face. He reached for my hand and...

He missed.
Wind howled in my ears as I fell to what I knew would be my death. Despite my situation I didn't scream. I didn't cry. I didn't pray.I knew this would happen. The trial of my painful choice reflected it. My death was merely stalled. I'm so thankful. A tear fell down my cheek as I fell deeper into the never ending darkness. I'm so thankful I could see the crew and give them my sister one....one last time. That's all I wanted. Just to see them. One last time.
Was my final thought when I smashed into the unforgiving ground.
~Eduardo POV~
I........Missed.
The cave was silent except for the cackles of the men.
In my fury I shot them down.
"No."Ayoka whispered. A look of disbelief was on her face.
"Where's Aya? Where did you put her?!? You got her!! Where is she?!" Ayoka looked around desperately. We remained silent. No one wanted to tell her. How... How was I supposed to tell her? How could I say her sister was dead?
"WHERE IS SHE?!?" She screamed.
"Ayoka... Aya is.-" Captain began sadly.
"NO! SHUT UP! SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP! YOUR LYING TO ME!" She wailed. I hung my head. Why... Why did I take her sister? Why...?
"LET GO OF ME!" Ayoka screamed struggling against Thomas to the edge of the cliff.
"AAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYAAAAAA! DONT LEAVE ME!" She wailed pounding on Thomas's chest.
She began to sob. "No... She was supposed to be safe! S-she... Why didn't you save her?" She looked at me with pain filled eyes that begged for answers.
"I...don't know..." I said grief-filled.
"You don't know. You don't fucking know." She sobbed.
I closed my eyes. My hand felt....so cold. I thought back to all the times I felt her warmth.
(Flashback)
"Eduardo help me?" Aya asked balancing two trays of food. I tsked and grabbed one, my hand momentarily touching hers. It was soft and warm. She smiled at me and I couldn't help but give a smirk back.
The first time I touched her hand
(Flashback)
"Ouch." Aya muttered tripping on a uprooted root. "Yer clumsy woman." I growled helping her up. Her hand was so soft. Like satin. She beamed at me. "Thanks Eddie!"
It was like everything became brighter.
(Flashback)
"Here's your gun" she smiled sweetly. I touched her hand taking my gun. I knew I loved her. Her dedication, love, loyalty, intelligence,
sweetness. I could have gone on and on about why I loved her at that moment
But when her hand slipped away.
My hand never felt so cold.
