Laurence's pov

(Yes I already had Laurence's pov but I am making this chap. his pov too.)

I stood ready and the giant black ship approached fast. Ungrth growled and then pirates were swinging across on ropes. "Heh, this'll be easy." One of the pirates smirked. I then gripped the hilt of my sword and the pirate ran at me. I was fighting five other pirates at the same time and I cut them all down. "Hahaha! That was a good fight Laurence." Zane said and I yelled "Fight me so I can send you to the fiery pits of the Nether!"

Zane raised an eyebrow and asked "Really? Even if I kill your friends?" I looked to where Zane was looking and saw everyone pinned down with a sword to their necks. "No....how could you do this!?" I yelled and then my arms were grabbed. I looked back and saw two pirates grabbing my arm. Dang! I'm at a disadvantage! I glared at Zane and he walked close to me and put his sword to my neck.

"Where is the mermaid?" Zane asked and my eyes widened. "H-how?" I stuttered and Zane said "It's very easy to find out if another pirate has a mermaid because these activate." Zane held out three tears and they looked just like Irene's Tears but these were different colors. "Wh-wh- how did you get those!?" I yelled. The only way to obtain these were from a dead mermaid so that means.....no! He's going to kill Aphmau!

"I will never let you take her!" I yelled. I felt like I was going to throw up by looking at those crystals. I don't want to lose Aphmau....I'm not ready to lose her. Zane frowned and said "Fine, if you wanna do it the hard way then I'm fine with that." I felt something ram into my stomach and I lost my breath. I started coughing and Zane balled up his fist and I felt his fist impact with my head.

My lip was split and my face was bruised when Zane pulled out a dagger. I was ready to be stabbed but then I heard her cry out. "No stop! Don't hurt him!" I looked over and saw Aphmau in the water. She had tears streaming down her face and I shook my head and yelled "No Aphmau! Run! Run away! Please!" I felt my eyes start to sting and tears rolled down my cheeks.

"Hm? Oh...this is the mermaid?" Zane asked and I shook my head. "Do not touch her! If you do I will-" I was cut off my a rag getting shoved into my mouth. "Hmph! Mm!" Muffled yells came out and Zane tied my hands behind my back. "Mhh! Hhhm!" It was no use. I struggled as Zane tied me to railing and got out a net. Tears wouldn't stop falling.

I didn't want to lose Aphmau....I love...her. Then I felt hope when I heard Ungrth's roar. I looked up in the sky and Ungrth flew down at Zane. "Ah!" Zane yelled as he dodged Ungrth. Ungrth stood in front of Zane and growled while opening his jaw. Zane pulled out his sword and Ungrth lifted his wing and started to fight off the pirates who started to attack.

"Mh! Mm!" I tried yelling out for Ungrth to watch out but I couldn't. Zane stood behind Ungrth about to stab him. "No stop!" Aphmau yelled out and she was now on the boat....she still had her tail so it was probably hard to get on the ship. "Heh, so the mermaid is being obedient?" Zane said as he walked to Aphmau. Aphmau run! Oh please run! Aphmau looked at me and smiled....."I love you."
