Basically a mercenary who's currently protecting the ship. She's been a lot of places and done a lot of things- she knows medicine pretty well, and she's trained in sword-fighting, for example.

As for personality, she's very strong-willed and stubborn. She can't back down from a challenge, either. She's fiercely protective of her friends, and she's very loud about defending her morals.

Often those morals go against the crowd. She's disdainful of the rich and powerful, and she's resentful of the navy for unknown reasons. An icon, honestly.

She has an enchanted sword named Harmony that she loves dearly. Nobody knows the full extent of its enchantments, including Gwen, but it enhances her already impressive skill. She talks about it like it's alive; maybe it is.
