Alexei is another siren that deals with humans a lot. He's something of a bodyguard for the Death Knell; he also uses his magic to terrify anyone they fight.

His curse is related to poison: his saliva and sweat are both poisonous. He also expels poison through his gills when he swims. For this reason, he tries to avoid touching people.

His magic, meanwhile, is something known as "void magic." It's connected to shadows, both symbolically and literally. He usually uses it to absorb his emotions and tuck them away for later; it's why he makes such a good bodyguard.
