Before I begin this review, I want to preface this: I know I've said I would give my two cents on Paige's suspension / my theories / new thoughts about her current down hill fall since she's sparked a relationship (out of nowhere) with del rio, but I just can't. 

I can't, I can't, I can't.

As if college hasn't been brutal enough already, the topic of paige's current wwe status alone drains the fuck outta me.

It's pretty upsetting when your once favorite takes such a bad slip. Don't get me wrong, I will always adore that Brit + am cheering for her to get her shit together, but right now --

I don't even want to focus on that. I just want to pretend it's not real.

With that said, let's get started!

Brooklyn Pt. II

I will not review the entire card, but instead my favorite matches.

1) The Revival vs Gargano + Ciampa.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Where do I even begin?
FUCK!

Okay first of all, I'm not the biggest fan of the Revival, but man are the savages. With that said, I want to disclaim that I am an utter & shrieking fangirl for Johnny Gargano.

I'll be the first to admit that sometimes, I can be shallow. Often times I "fall" "swoon" over male WWE Superstars because of their looks, and while I do find Johnny very attractive, 
I'm honestly just head over heels in love with him as a person.

If you have not seen this documentary, please watch it. The guy's a true inspiration + positive role model.

Secondly there's Tommaso Ciampa.

 Tommaso Ciampa, Tommaso Ciampa, Tommaso Ciampa

I freaking love saying his name, even though I'm like 93% I'm saying it wrong.

The match Gargano + Ciampa had at the start of the Cruiserweight Tournament broke my heart & since I've rewatched it (ten times as of last week), I realized that it even reminded me of the epic Zayn vs Kevin match at Battleground.

There's this one part where Ciampa just can't go through with finishing his friend off and it's so fucking touching, emotional and uuuuugh MY HEART.

WRESTLING WILL BE THE DEATH OF ME!

I'm heartbroken that these two lost at Brooklyn Part II,

but, I can't entirely be mad. As I mentioned, I am not a fan of the revival, but my god, all four men put on one HELL of a match. The shots were brutal, the storytelling was evident, the cohesion of each time was stellar, and I just don't have enough words to rave about this match.

Johnny + Ciampa definitely stole the show for me, even more Johnny who's explosive as fuck if you ask me. I love-love his arsenal and how he just goes in so strong with every move, that missile take down from between the ropes (fucking yes!).

GRADE: 10 OUT OF 10 GOLDEN STARS!

2) Samoa Joe
vs
Shinsuke Nakamura

Right off the bat, I really really appreciate everyone in charge of creating custom theme songs / visuals down at NXT because Shinsuke's entrance is legit a beautiful fucking music video. 

THE CINEMATOGRAPHY aspect he brings with the lighting, Shinsuke's broken down posture thing, ugh yes! The violinist was an amazing added touch + the match as a whole was AMAZING.

I have loved Samoa Joe since around 2006. I want to say I found out about Joe through TNA, and it was around that year that I stumbled upon golden the golden match of --

Samoa Joe vs Punk in 2005.

I was hooked. I became a fan of Samoa Joe since, (along with Punk) + kept up with Joe's journey in TNA.

I want to say so much, but I feel like that would spoil the match for those who haven't.

Instead I'll keep it short and simple.

I thought the match was fucking great + I teared up when Shinsuke won because IT'S ABOUT GODDAMN TIME THAT WE HAD AN "ASIAN" CHAMPION + A JAPANESE SUPERSTAR THAT BROKE THE STUPID MOLD WWE ALWAYS GAVE THEM AND UGH YES!!

Can't wait for Itami + Nakamura to clash now.

Fuck, this is all epic.

3) Ember Moon vs Billie Kay.

I am NOT at all on board with the name, "Ember Moon" but with that said, her "look" + "gimmick" is legit aaaaaaand can we talk about those red eyes?

YES! YES! YES!

I was particularly hyped for this match because:

a) I love Billie Kay. I think she's amazing + heavily underrated. Her "big boot" move is a thing of beauty + over all, the gal is strong as fuck and I can't wait till the day that she clashes with Charlotte. (Both are 5'10, c'mon giant girl vs giant girl please). As much as I love BK, I still feel like she gets lost in the shuffle with her "gimmick" that could use more help / creativity.

Ember on the other hand, FUCKING WOW! 

All I know about Ember Moon is that prior to signing with NXT, she was known as Athena in the Indy's. I've never seen a video of Athena wrestle, so I was clueless as to what to expect from the Texan gal.

With that said, HOLY FUCKING SHIT MATE.

I gathered that Ember is being prepared to face off against Asuka and I have to say, I think her chances of defeating Asuka in the near future are legit.

Asuka is a freak of nature + definitely, the best striker in the WWE BUT, I am just so in awe of Ember Moon that I will go to the extent of saying that I much prefer Ember's ring style than Asuka's. To me, there's something more captivating about Ember. Charisma pours out of her + her finisher:

I can't get over it.

A stunner with a twist in the air.

PERFECTION!

SIDE NOTE:

I'm all for fucking diversity and to think that the NXT' Women's Championship belt has been helf by a black woman, a japanese woman, bayley with her hispanic roots, and soon athena,
YAAAAAAAAAS!

4) Asuka
vs
Bayley

Again, hats off to whoever writes these matches. I am so happy that for once, Asuka wasn't painted as this "untouchable" force. Don't get me wrong, Asuka is lethal, but c'mon, she finally took some decent pain + bumps for the sake of the other competitor (bayley).

Words can't describe how emotional I get with Bayley. In general, the Four Horse Women (except for Charlotte sorry not sorry) make me incredibly emotional.

- Becky constantly gets the short end of the stick (hopefully not that she's in smack down which mini side note, i swear if nikki gets that belt before bex, i will riot). 

- Sasha's been very vocal about all the changes she wants in the division + is always so humble & grateful. It warms my heart to know that she like Bayley is living her childhood dreams.

- Bayley is defying the stereotype of a baby face and showing that "good girls" can also hang and roll with the guys + be brutal. I'll never forget the sight of Bayley SO EFFORTLESSLY hitting a Bayley to Bayley on Bobby Roode.

I'm so torn between choosing from Bayley, Bex, or Sasha. Somedays Sasha breaks my heart with her sheer passion for change, sometimes Becky's fighting spirit moves me to tears, and then Bayley's genuine happiness kills me too.

There's something about Bayley that literally makes me sob every time she's in the ring. Her moves are always spot on, as I can't recall a time she's ever botched (unlike sasha, still love her though). 

Bayley's arsenal is probably my favorite from all the women's, kind of reminds me of Cesaro and his freaky ability to be able to do just about anything with freaky speed, precision, and fluidity. 

I'm a sucker for that Irish Lass and very fond of Sasha, but ultimately, Bayley really does own my goddamn heart. She grows so much more with every match + elevates herself and opponents to a higher platform, she's selfless and wants to always high light her opponent and I'm bawling.

Seriously, Bayley is the Greatest and it's scary because she's already near perfection. How much more godly will she be in 5 years?
CHILLS!!

Tiny bit upset that Bayley did not get to be a 2x NXT Women's Champ, but I'm more than confident that they CANNOT fuck her character up. She is far too established and I just want all the good in the world for her.

It's nearly midnight + because I'm a stupid idiot, I got morning classes. My first class is at 9:25 but because of traffic + other things, I have to wake up at 6 to make it on time. 

I will review SummerSlam tomorrow.
