SUBJECT: THE LACK OF HELL

I was so pumped for this event and then after the first two matches it all fell apart.

1) ALBERTO DEL RIO VIVE!

Okay so I was rooting for either Dean, Cesaro, or Kevin to come accept John's U.S. open challenge, but when Alberto came out, my jaw dropped.

A) OMG HE'S FIT AF.

I seriously can't get over the great shape he's in. The man is nearly 40 years old and I don't think he's ever been more fit in his entire life. He doesn't look steriod jacked, rather he looks like he's really been hitting the gym and his body almost resembled Randy's old 2009 lean body with like Dean's glorious waist xD

B) If you guys didn't know, Alberto part ways with the WWE because he got in an altercation with a backstage WWE personal who pretty much insulted him for being Mexican. Alberto of course took none of it and punched the guy. According to sources the guy apologized but Alberto was also asked to apologize when he did nothing wrong, and like a true champ he stayed true to his beliefs and refused to apologize and quit. I honestly respect him hard core for that. 

Being that he was treated unfairly because of that, I couldn't be any happier that he's back and holding gold. Personally, I prefer him as a heel but I am SUPER stoked to see what's of him tomorrow on Monday Night Raw. 

ALSO, DONALD TRUMP EAT YOUR HEART OUT!!

I hope he makes a joke about that asshole Trump and that he brings Ricardo back!

MATCH GRADE: A

2) ROMAN VS BRAY

This was by far my favorite match of the night. In my opinion, this should have been placed higher up because it was goddamn epic. Ever since Bray's + Roman's showdown a few weeks ago where Bray went hardcore and used another dude to hit Roman followed by Roman spearing Bray mid-air and making the announce table collapse, I knew this would be hardcore.

Bray and Roman would so well together and give the best expressions and sell each other's moves to perfection. This match was brutal and it even felt like it belonged in the attitude era with how all out they were going with kendo sticks and the innovative placement of a chair on the cell!

MATCH GRADE: A++

3) NIKKI VS CHARLOTTE

I'm so disappointed with the divas match. Nothing came of it and the only impressive thing was Nikki Bella. I have nothing against her when her chest is out, but she looked so beautiful tonight with the new gear top being a bit more covered up. I love that she got rid of her ratchet extensions and that her makeup is lighter. She looks much younger without all the glam and her natural hair is beautiful. 

Nikki really impressed me in this match with her aggression and that Alabama Slam she did, making Charlotte's head and lower neck area hit the ring apron was hard to look at but effective. 

I'm sorry but Charlotte is boring in the ring. The crowd may cheer for her but I feel like she personally has NO connection with her fans  as to where Nikki owns it with both her fans and haters.

Asides from Nikki shining tonight, the only other good part was seeing Paige and Becky at the end, both of them looking beautiful as ever.

MATCH GRADE: C+

4) KEVIN OWENS

What the hell are they doing to my murder baby Kevin?

I hate Ryback.

He brings nothing to Kevin and the fact that they only give Kevin 5 minutes to defeat Ryback was pointless. Why even have a match?

Kevin deserves so much better and it's getting harder and harder to watch him and Dean slowly fade into the background, which brings me to point 5.

MATCH GRADE: A+ effort for Kev, C- for Ryback.

5) DEAN AMBROSE

Am I the only one mega-upset that he didn't even have a match? HELL IN A CELL SCREAMS FOR AMBROSE'S crazy antics, but lately they have mellowed the fuck out of him.

I don't like this one bit.

AMBREIGNS IS MAKING HIM SOFT!

I get that he won't be in the title picture for a while but dear god don't leave him out of everything.

6) THE NEW DAY

Some people think Xavier is too much and too annoying but omg watching Kofi and Big E without Xavier felt so weird. Xavier is gold and without him pitching for his team mates the match was rather boring.

MATCH GRADE: B-

7) UNDERTAKER

I despite the fact that they have buried him with another fact but that ENDING YO!

Baby Luke and Rowan are back with Bray and now if they could only get rid of Braun, things would be perfect.

I feel like Taker almost kinda passed the torch down to Bray, which to me makes perfect sense. Bray's got a sick entrance and his character gimmick is legit. In a few years I think he really will be one of the top guys for WM + I'm just excited to see wtf the Wyatt family will do with Taker.

Is he...SISTER ABIGAIL?

8) MVP

To me, Bray Wyatt stole the show. For starters, Hell in a Cell is the perfect PPV for The Wyatt family to reunite and for Bray to channel his inner wacko that I love. 

Bray not only put on one hell of a match with Roman Reigns, he also left us all thinking WTF with that ending where they carried the Undertaker out.

Was the beating of the Undertaker his sick and twisted way of initiating him to his family perhaps?

Whatever it is, I'm glad Bray got to shine tonight.

He's definitely a main eventer in my eyes. His voice and mic skills are very captivating and his actions + aggression + wrestling + finisher are insanely good.

Kinda want to see him clash with Dean again but we'll see what happens. 

I do think it's heavily symbolic that this all went down at HIAC for Bray. HIAC is/was typically for Kane + Undertaker and the fact that Bray stole the show with Roman and then closed it feels like a torch is being handed down to him.

9) VERDICT

All in all, HIAC was rather "eh" except for Roman vs Bray, Alberto's surprise return + win, and just Bray Wyatt in general. There was bits where I wanted to silence down the commentators not for their disgusting bias but because they just wouldn't shut up. Also, these camera angles make shit so predictable. They shouldn't of have shown the 2nd/3rd table Roman speared Bray through.

Super happy for Bray + Alberto.

Oh and if you're wondering, Seth Rollins vs Kane doesn't even get it's own bullet because that match was so disappointing. Seth was oddly sloppy with connecting hits and they are booking him horribly. This guy URGES a new finisher and a fresh storyline.

BRING ON THE BABY FACE NOW AND PLEASE GIVE HIM A NEW YOUNG RIVAL THAT CAN KEEP UP!

Oh, on a random note.

MAJOR PROPS TO ALL THE PRESHOW GUYS, specifically Neville + Cesaro. These two guys know they deserve to be at the top, yet they always put on one hell of a show. Cesaro's charisma oozes out of him and you can really tell he just wants to entertain the crowd.
