Lying down on an king sized bed alone is the emptiest feeling ever.
It looks so cold and incomplete without your warm body sleeping beside mine.

Observing the vacant spot with tired eyes and a small smile, I try to remember the things we used to do on this bed:

the cuddling, the hot flames of our passion warming our cold and lonely hearts,

the way our bodies were not perfectly matched for each other unlike the ones in many love stories full of cliches

the way nothing about us actually matched, making the whole thing so unusual as if our relationship wasn't gifted by fate or anything else.

But to be honest this was the things that made us special at people's eyes and even tho they didn't have the courage to admit it, they were low-key amazed by it. Amazed by what connected us.

It would be a pity for both me and you to separate like this, don't you think?

So even if you get lost and it takes you a while, come round and round back to me
even if it's far ahead in the future.
