We happen to meet in the library
She was there for her class project,

I worked there as a library assistant.
So I would help her in finding the books she wants.

From names to exchanging numbers
From helping in the library to meeting in the park
From changing gazes to holding hands
From 'How can I help you?' to
'Will you be my girlfriend?'

We became pretty much close to each other

She was such a mood lifter person
She would make me feel better in a matter of seconds

This one time
When I got rejected from a company for the nth time, auditioning to become an idol singer.

However, with my tremendous effort, I never got selected
Getting rejected from many companies many times
It demotivated me a lot

But at times like that, she would act like a pain killer
She would play one of her best melodies on the piano and
I would start singing unknowingly
She would start praising me that I was indeed the best singer.

That would make me so much pleased
Once she was ensured that I am alright

She would sit close to me and hold my hand, circling the back with her thumb
Something that would make me feel calm

"A flower that wants to blossoms, endure numerous tragedies to become a beautiful flower." She would say.
Of course, I knew what is she talking about

All these little efforts of her to make me feel motivated and adequate
Made me realize I have chosen the best partner.
