Wow even in a new school you still got so incredibly bored. It was only 7th period and there are two more classes you have to go through until you could go home.

At least you met more people earlier though. In 3rd period, you met a girl named Michelle. She seemed intimidating at first, but when she showed you a drawing of you with a cloud over your head, you got to know a little more about her. Apparently Michelle likes to draw people who are stressed out, which you thought was an interesting interest.

There was another friend you met, and his name was Ned. You met him through Peter in 6th period since you and Peter had the same class... again. Ned was a tech nerd and a geek and him and Peter seemed to have know each other for a while.

And now it's 7th period, chemistry class. Peter was in your class for the 5th consecutive time in a row. He sat on the other side of the classroom from you, still having possession of your pen. He moved the pen up and down between his quick fingers with one hand and his free hand propping his head up on the desk.

You weren't any different. You had your hand under your chin as you listened to the teacher drone on about titration and equilibrium or something.

"So with that being said, you guys are gonna do a project." Mr. Arrow ended his lesson with. The whole class groaned in agony. You did nothing because this is your first day; ain't no way the teacher is gonna let you do a fucking project.

"But you will have partners." Mr. Arrow added. The class then sighed with relief. Mr. Arrow then picked up a huge stack of papers which were just packets and started handing them out to everyone.

"(Y/n), since this is your first day, I assume you don't know the unit?" The teacher asked only to you once his 'passing-paper' strategy path made it to you. You shook your head still taking the packet that was still handed to you.

"Do you have a shadow?" Mr. Arrow then asked. You nodded. "Peter."

Mr. Arrow stood up straight and looked at Peter who was zoning out, but kinda turned to your direction noticing that someone was looking at him.

"Then I guess you will be his partner. He can teach you what we are studying while you two do the project." Mr. Arrow stated before finishing up with giving each student a packet. You then watched as the teacher went over to Peter to tell him the news.

When the teacher slightly pointed in your direction, Peter looked over and gave a happy smile. You returned the gesture with a shy turn when you faced forward again.

*time skip to the end of the day*

You walked out of Spanish class so happy to go home. You were about to walk out the doors, but then the principal saw you and gestured you to come over. You complied and waited for what she had in mind for you.

"How was your first day at Midtown?" The principal asked with a grin. "It was good. Yeah, Peter really helped me find my way." You shrugged with a chuckled.

"That's good, dear. I also forgot this morning, your locker..." The principal turned around and scanned a paper with numerous names and numbers.

"Your locker is #112. Here's the combination." You were given a slip of paper with three numbers. "Oh thank you so much!" You replied before turning back around to find your locker.

And once you found it, it was right next to Peter's. Wow. Great. What else is there to put Peter into your life more? Not that you hated it. He's a great guy (who you think is really cute and want to get to know more of whaaaaa) but having 7 classes with him and now a locker next to him seemed a little too real. But you knew you'd get used to it.

"Oh, (y/n), hey!!" Peter greeted, noticing you were going for the locker next to him. He was putting books in and switching some out of his locker.

"Hey, Peter." You giggled stopping in front of the locker. You looked at the combination and turned the knob to code it in.

"So we're class buddies and now locker buddies?" Peter asked rhetorically. You giggled again opening the locker whilst nodding.

"Then I guess I'm gonna have to get to know you more since I'll be seeing you a lot." Peter shrugged slightly looking over at you. You were dropping off some notebooks since you didn't really bring that much on the first day.

"Oh yeah? If you don't have anything planned, we can go down 27th to the cafe there... if you want." You breathed out that last part. You didn't think you'd be so confident when meeting someone. Even asking them to hang out at first sight?? Something about Peter just made you feel like you knew him forever. He had a very easy and friendly personality.

Peter zipped up his bag and slung it over his shoulder. You did the same kicking your locker with your foot.

"Yeah we can do that. Don't think I've ever been to that cafe before." Peter mentioned as you two started walking out the door together.

"Ooo you should try their chocolate—"

"Aye Parker!! You got yourself a little lady?? She's a good looking one too!!" A group of guys called at you two. One of them was, if you remember correctly, the one who was staring at you in English class. You only looked at them once and you almost collapsed.

The one laughing and making the remarks at you was your ex boyfriend, Mikey. Your breath hitched and you turned your eyes away so quickly. Peter noticed your actions and told off the guys.

"They're always like that, c'mon." Peter eyed the group of guys as you tried to hide yourself from one in particular.
