Hight Diffrence
Chloe POV
It was a normal Saturday morning. I woke up as the sun rays were shining onto me. Then I noticed something odd. I was missing warmth. Particularly the warmth of my girlfriend Brooke.
Usually when I wake up Brooke is right in front of me as she clings to my stomach and snoring a little. Then I usually play with her very soft and pretty hair....
'STOP THINKING GAY THOUGHTS AND LOOK FOR YOUR GIRLFRIEND!' I say to myself.
I yawn and get out of bed as I walk towards the living room and then I heard a faint
"Oh come on..."
Coming from the kitchen.
I recognized the voice as my girlfriends. I start walking towards the kitchen and the sight I see makes me start to chuckle a little.
Brooke was very short (5'2) but I was fairly taller than her (5'8).
The sight I saw was Brooke desperately trying to get a box of cereal from the top cabinet.
She has yet to notice me as she is occupied with trying to get the cereal so I sneak up behind her so I can hug her from behind.
"Mornin Sunshine." I whisper into her ear as I hug her around her stomach.
"AH CHLOE YOU SCARED ME TO DEATH!" Brooke shouted as she tried to push me away.
"Sorry", I apologized as I tightened my grip around her, "I didn't mean to scare you. You just looked so adorable trying to get that cereal." I said while smirking.
Brooke POV
I blushed as Chloe said that. Curse her and her ability to know all of my weaknesses. Including when she found out that I liked it when she scratched my hair. Now when she does it she'll call me "Puppy" to tease me.
"It's alright, I know you didn't mean to." I said as I once again tried to reach for the cereal, again failing to grab it.
"Would you like some help with that?" Chloe said, a hint of teasing coming through her tone.
"No I got it." I said with a hint of annoyance while trying to get out of her grasp so I can try and get to the cereal more easily. But she had a pretty tight grip on me and was showing no signs of letting up.
"Chloe?" I say to try and get her attention. She doesn't even acknowledge that I said anything but I know she heard me. So I turned around and and got up really close to her ear.
Then used one of her weaknesses.
"Valentine~..." I whispered into her ear immediately making her blush. I chuckle a little as I pull back to look at her face. She's beet red and won't even look at me because she's so embarrassed.
She really is the most adorable thing on the planet.
"Ok," I say "Now that I have your attention I need you to let go for a second while I try and grab the cereal."
"But you can't reach the cereal," She says, still pretty flustered after what I did "You're too short."
"Oh yeah?" I say with confidence.
"Yeah," she says back "Are you sure you don't want me to help you?"
"Just watch me."
"Ok" Chloe says sounding defeated "Just please, don't get hurt with attempting whatever you plan is."
She so worried for me it's to adorable.
"Don't worry I won't get hurt." I say as I peak her on the lips and slip out of her grasp.
She steps back as I attempt my plan.
I start to climb onto the counter to grab the cereal. I'm almost there as I grab onto the shelf.
Which was the biggest regret of my life as the shelf started to slip out of it's support screws while all of the cereal boxes fell to the floor.
"BROOKE!" I hear Chloe yell in a panic as she caught me
I let out a "Oof" as she catches me in her arms bridal style
"Are you ok?" Chloe asks me, the panic from earlier still evident in her voice
"I'm fine." I say as I try and get up but she pulls me to her chest and doesn't let go.
"Chlo I said I'm fine." I say with a soft tone of voice
"I know but it still scared me." She says as she holds me tighter.
I lift up my face to kiss her but I stop when I see her expression.
She looks like she just saw me get killed right in front of her eyes.
"Cupid..." I say as I use one of the many nicknames I have for her "Its alright I'm ok."
"I know but..." she trails off and looks to the side but I know what she's thinking about.
When we were in the 6th grade I thought it would be a good idea to climb a tree. So I told Chloe to hold onto my Pinkberry frozen yogurt while I do. She was hesitant but did it none the less.
As I started to climb the tree I was feeling very confident. I made it to the top.
Then there was the issue in getting down.
So, me being my stupid 12 year old self, shouted "CHLOE CATCH ME!" As I jumped.
But she was a few feet away from the tree and didn't reach it in time. I ended up breaking my arm while Chloe blamed herself for years. It took so much convincing for her to learn that it wasn't her fault.
Now it seems we were back to square one.
"Chloe" I say in a strict tone of voice. She immediately looks back at me.
"What have I told you over a million times?"
"That it wasn't my fault." She says quietly.
"That's right so please" I pause so I can kiss her "Stop blaming yourself."
"Ok shortie" she says in a playful tone of voice while smiling "I promise I will."
I let her calling me shortie pass because she was smiling again.
I start to squeeze out of her embrace.
"Now there's still the issue of breakfast." I say as I turn towards all the cereal boxes that fell to the floor.
"Can I help you now?" Chloe says.
"Yes" I say while smiling "You can help me now."
