i turned over, the taste of sleep still soft on my tounge, but found my body immobile due to a smaller body tucked effortlessly into my own. smiling fondly at the cotton candy colored boy so close to me, i gently stroked his hair and sighed contentedly.

"you're my everything and you dont even know the half of it," i whispered to michael's sleeping body, watching his chest steadily rise and fall.

"time only passes by slowly when i am without you, and despite the smoking and the way you always seem like you're running from something i want to be with you. i want to grow old with you. you're impossibly beautiful in so many dimensions and i want to trace my fingers over the curves that make up your imperfections. you make me want to lose myself in the blood of your veins, like you are my whirlpool of cosmic infinity and i wonder if you can feel the rings of saturn on your fingertips, the way your black holes pull me in like the moon pulls the tide; so steady and the ocean keeps chasing the silver light casting down from the sky. i will forever carve your name into my pillow while i dream, like even when i'm unconcious i cant get enough of the way the letters dance through my head. you've got these eyes like an ocean and i'm drowning in you so deep i doubt anyone but you can find me."

at some point during my speech, michael woke up and when i looked over to stare at my love again, i found that he was already there, gazing at me with tears in his eyes and his pink mouth agape. a blush tinted my cheeks as i realized he'd heard my long declaration of love. i didn't need to hear him say anything back; i could feel the way he loved me.

"luke... i don't know what to say, or if i can even say anything at all," michael's soft voice began. i shook my head and smiled, kissing his pink cheek and wiping under his eyes. "don't say anything. i know."

"i'm in love with you." he whispered, like it was a secret only i could know.

"and i, you."
