"hey, michael?" i asked the pink haired boy who hummed in response. "let's go to a concert!" yeah, it was a surprising question, but i needed a way to let michael know i liked him, and this was a really good opportunity.

"what kind of concert?" michael asked, his voice muffled due to his head placed on my chest. "i don't know yet. probably something local, you know what I mean?" michael nodded. "so what do you think? is that a yes?" i inquired, carding my fingers through michael's hair.

"sure, i'll go with you." i smiled so wide it hurt my cheeks. perfect. i could tell michael i liked him after the concert, and maybe, just maybe, he'd say he liked me back.
