** Third Person's P.O.V **

It was another day of work. This time, monsters have finally reached the surface. It had taken a lot of jobs but it didn't take yours.

You woke up with a small headache. You groaned and sat up. You went to the bathroom to take a bath, since you can't procrastinate because you were a scientist a huge company with high pay. You've been dreaming to be a scientist when you started watching sci-fi movies as a kid. Now that you have grown, you have achieved those dreams.

As you walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped on yout body, you picked out your uniform for the day. It was a white shirt, a black pencil skirt, some black stockings, black shoes and a white lab coat. You put those on and prepared a simple breakfast. It was just toast with some coffee.

You sighed, 6: 15 AM. Your work starts around 7: 30, so you have enough time to buy a sci-fi novel book from your favourite author. Too bad you can't go to book fairs where you can get your favorite author to sign your book. But, you have a friend who goes to book fairs, you always ask them to sign the books for you. And she always does.

You texted your friend about this upcoming book fair somewhere around your street and your favorite author is gonna be there signing their latest books. You texted the date, time and where it will be held. She texted you back saying she'll be there. You thanked her and went out and locked the door.

You took the elevator down to the lobby and gave the keys to the keeper. You exited the apartment and walked to the bus stop. Monsters were everywhere, some shops have prohibited monsters inside but some shops welcome them warmly inside.

The bus has arrived and it was 6: 25 AM. You hopped in and waited around the corner to the nearest bookstore that you constantly went to just to buy a set of books. You hopped off, and went inside. The store still had the same scent last week that you went here. The owner greeted you warmly while they dust a picture of you on the wall. You have been rewarded as their customer of the year because of how much you came here countless times a week.

In the picture, you were holding the lastest sci-fi book of your favorite author that had been published at that time you were rewarded. "Ah, Mrs. L/n. What are you here for? The new book of f/a (favorite author)?" the owner asked and you nodded. She knows a lot about you like your interest in books, science, plants, technology, chemistry and much more.

She took a book in one of the fiction sections and gave it to you. "delivered fresh from the publishing house" she said as she pushed a cart to one of the book shelves, returning some books that people borrowed. You thanked her as you walked to the counter to pay for it. Three cashier gave you the change and off you go. You placed your book inside your bag and went to the nearest bust station.

When the bus arrived, it was packed so that meant you're gonna have to stand the rest of the trip but that's okay because its mostly monsters in the bus and you didn't want to be rude to them. You checked the time, 6: 29 AM. When your reached your stop, you hopped off as well as a few other monsters.

There, you see the company building that your worked for. Now they're hiring monsters for extra knowledge on how to make this world a better place. Of course, they get paid the same amount you do. You went inside and walked directly to your workspace, you were placed in te lab due to your intelligence.

You cracked a couple smiles when walking to the corridor to reach the lab that you're working in, your co-workers smiled back. You scanned your hand to open the door only to see a group of people and monsters gathered together. "Did I miss something?" You suddenly blurted out, normally, you were informed when there's a meeting but you weren't.

"Ah, Y/n. This is a quick meeting that I have gathered, I have not informed anyone yet because of my busy schedule." he paused, "Don't we all?" you shrugged and he nodded.

"I suppose everyone is wondering why they're here? Well. The answer to the question is that one of the researchers of our company had recently found a new substance that had been formed with heat. It is a very hot substance, it can give a 3rd degree burn if you touch it with bare hands. The researchers also found out the it is passive when you pour a cold substance on it. Like fire dies when you give it water. Like lava, it can be heated around 1000° degrees and above. The substance has a honey-like liquid structure and it has golden-brown, yellow kind of hue to it. The substance can be formed into shapee and is very sticky. Just like honey. The taste is bitter-sweet, and is edible. The substance can't be frozen because of its repeating cycle of heat that it is impossible to freeze it but instead can cool it down. They also discovered that if you get a burn from the substance, you can cure it with an aqueous substance. Although, you need to inject the substance to the area it was burned. Take the injectiosn twice a day in one week then inject it with a bit of water to finish it off. The ingredients to the cure is pasted in the clinic and the storage room. That's it, thank you"
