"I'm so happy I finally get I meet you. I've heard all about you from Harry, gran, The Weasley's. Everyone." Teddy cried happily

"I'm so sorry that your mother and I couldn't be there." Remus sniffed

"It's fine dad. I understand why. But to me, you never left." Teddy said. He reached under his shirt and pulled out a necklace. Remus saw what it was and gasped

"Gran told me you gave it to me the night you died. I've never taken it off. The odd occasion where I've had to, but never wanted to part with it." Teddy said

Remus had to wipe tears with his sleeve.

"I-is mum still here?" Teddy asked, looking around.

"Yeah upstairs. She's sleeping because she hit her head." Remus said. "She'll be alright though....why don't you sit down, I think we have a lot to talk about."

Teddy nodded and sat next to his dad, smiling happily.

"How old were you two when you died?" Teddy asked suddenly. "Sorry, I shouldn't have asked."

"It's fine. I was 38, your mum was 25?" Remus replied. "What, what about you? And how?"

"I was 33. Chasing down some Death Eaters. Must have been one behind me." Teddy sighed. "It's weird being 18 again."

"How do you know you are 18?"

"Because my chest doesn't have the tattoo yet." Teddy said. "And there isn't the love heart on my finger from when I got married"

"Do you have any kids?" Remus asked.

"Yeah, four." Teddy replied. "The oldest is William Sirius. Then there is Evie Dora, Jason Neville. And then there's little Remus James. He was only about two."

"Remus James?"

"Yeah. After you and Harry's dad." Teddy said. "All four are Metamorphmagus's and, part Veela."

"Did you marry Bill and Fleur's daughter then?"

"Yeah. Victorie. She must be so worried! And she'll have to find out from Ron and Harry." Teddy cried, jumping up.

"Teddy calm down. It'll be fine. She'll be fine." Remus said, putting his hands on his shoulders. Teddy's eyes had turned purple, but were now turning back to green. "It's hard now I but it gets easier."

"I miss her." Teddy cried, collapsing back onto the sofa. "You know what the last thing I said to her was?"

"I love you?" Remus asked

"Don't forget, chicken first, sauce later." Teddy said. "I was telling how to make tea."

"Oh." Remus sighed. "That's-"

"Pretty shitty huh. Not 'I love you' or 'Keep the kids safe'. No, it was about making blood tea." Teddy sighed angrily.

"Be thankful she isn't dead though. I died thinking you and your mother were safe at her mum's house. But she actually left just to fight next to me. But I died before her, before she could find me." Remus said.

"Oh. I didn't know that. I just knew you both fought and died in the first round of the war."

"First round? How many rounds were there?"

"I'll explain later. Sirius said there was a bunch of you who knew Harry so I think they would want to hear this." Teddy said

"And speaking of the others, it's dinner time. So, I'll go wake your mum." Remus said, standing up

"Could I do it? I just want to talk to her before we see everyone else." Teddy asked

"Of course you can Teddy. You'll know which room is hers." Remus replied, winking.

Teddy nodded and turned to walk towards the door. He was about to walk out when he saw a women standing there. A women with bright pink hair andtear filled eyes.

"Teddy?" she choked out.

"M-mum." Teddy gasped. Tonks smiled before pulling Teddy into her arms. He wrapped his arms around and buried his face in her shoulder -harder than it sounds since he was considerably taller than her-.

"I've missed you." She cried

"I've missed you too." Teddy sniffed. "But I never forgot either of you."

"I'm sorry about your kids and wife." Tonks said

"How did-"

"I listened from behind the door." Tonks said.

"Tonks, what are you doing up?" Remus asked, appearing behind Teddy.

"I couldn't sleep and I heard voices." Tonks said.

"Ah right." Remus said. "Well, we were just heading off to dinner. Care to join us?"

"Yeah. I'd love to." Tonks said.

All the way to dinner -and they took twice as long as usual- they talked about all that they'd missed and all about Teddy's life. It was fair to say that Remus and Tonks were very proud of their son. They finally reached the building. As they pushed open the doors, they all walked in. Remus first, with Tonks and Teddy holding hands behind.

"Hey Rem, who's this?" James asked

"This is my son Teddy." Remus said proudly. "Teddy this is Lily and James Potter, Sirius who you already met, Ted, your granddad, and Severus Snape." Remus said, pointing everyone out.

Teddy turned to Snape and smiled. "So you're the guy Al was named after." Teddy said

"Excuse me?" Snape said glaring at the blue haired boy.

"Harry's middle child. Albus Severus Pottsr." Teddy replied

"He named his son after me?" Severus said

"Yeah. The oldest is James Sirius, then Al, then Lily Luna." Teddy said. He sat down next to Tonks and Remus

"Wow. Do you have kids of your own?" James asked.

"Yeah, four." Teddy replied.

"Someone's been busy." Sirius laughed. Teddy's hair went bright pink, and he hid his face.

"Sirius be nice." Lily said

"Sorry." Sirius said, smiling. "What are their names?"

"The oldest is William Sirius. Then Evie Dora, Jason Neville and Remus James." Teddy said

"Aw. That's cute." Lily said, smiling.

"Uh, thanks." Teddy said slowly.

"How did you end up here?" Snape asked

"Killed by Death Eaters. I mean yeah Harry killed Voldemort at the Battle. But there were still Death Eaters around." Teddy explained. "I was 33."

"Aw. Sorry Teds." Ted said.

"Wait, did you say Harry defeated Voldemort?" Snape asked quickly, sitting forward.

"Yeah. Defeated him the morning after the battle started. Lasted all night according to those who lived." Teddy said. "Oh, sorry." Teddy said when he saw the sad look on his dads face.

"So, how did he do it?" James asked eagerly

"Well....." Teddy sighed. And the explanation began. Harry, Ron and Hermione told him the story all the time, mostly because he loved it. Food appeared and everyone ate, mostly in silence as Teddy explained what happened. Harry and Andromeda always told him versions which included his parents last moments talking to him, so that's why he told.

"....and then it was all over." Teddy finished

"My boy, my brave boy." Lily cried

"He wasn't the only one." Teddy said. "Without Ron and Hermione he wouldn't have done it."

"I know but he still done it." Lily sniffed. "What.....what happened after it was over?"

"Um, Kingsley was made Minister for Magic, Ginny and Harry hooked up, Death Eaters being hunted down, the anniversary of the war is celebrated every year on the day. And, a massive memorial was put up in the school in memory of those who fell in both wars. All of you are up there." Teddy said.

"Even me?" Sirius and Snape asked at the same time.

"Yes. Even you two." Teddy laughed.

"So you were close with Harry?" Lily asked

"Yeah. He looked after me for one month, then I'd stay with gran, then back to Harry's. Occasionally stayed with the Weasley's but not often." Teddy replied

"Speaking of Weasley, where is Fred?" Tonks asked

"I dunno. Probably at his house working on pranks." Sirius said

"Fred Weasley? George's twin?" teddy asked quickly.

"Yeah, why?" Tonks replied

"George hasn't really looked in a mirror since Fred died." Teddy said sadly. "He used to never talk because all he'd hear was Fred."

"That's so sad." Lily cried.

"Yeah. But he always told us stories of their adventures using the Marauders Map." Teddy said happily.

"The Map? What has become of the Map?" Sirius asked

"Um, why?" teddy asked

"Because we created it. Me, James and your dad." Sirius said triumphantly

"No way. Seriously!" Teddy cried

And so, the night was washed away with Cream Soda and talks of the past. Teddy and his parents spent a lot of their time catching up on lost time. They all gots long greatly, all so similar. and different it was weird. It seemed like nothing could go wrong. But nothing is ever simple.

*.*.*.*.*.*.*A few days later*.*.*.*.*.*.*.

Remus had woken up earlier than usual. He tried to go back to sleep, but he was too wake. Sighing, he slowly slipped out of bed and got dressed. He bent down and kissed Tonks's cheek softly before heading out for some food. The building was empty and eerily quiet. But as he sat down, the food appeared and he started to eat. But again, he didn't feel right. He felt like he was really hungry, but he could hardly stomach the two small bitsof pancake he'd eaten. Remus then knew something was terribly wrong. He felt sick.....

"No. Not now, please." He begged silently, but Remus knew in his heart it was time.

Remus shakily stood from the table and left. A soft breeze was blowing, ruffling his hair. His hands deep in his pockets. He had to tell Tonks, but how? Knowing that aimlessly wondering around for hours wasn't going to solve the matter at hand, he headed home.

As he entered through the front door and into the living room, he saw Tonks nervously sitting on the sofa tapping her feet. Her head snapped towards him as he opened the door. She jumped up and ran to him, almost knocking him over by the force of the hug.

"What's happened?" Remus asked, gently patting her back, confused.

"You've been gone for hours. I couldn't find a note from you or anything. I was worried." Tonks cried

"I'm fine. I couldn't sleep so I went for a walk." Remus said calmly, pulling back from Tonks.

"Sorry. I was just worried in case something had happened again." Tonks said.

"I'm fine." Remus said, looking her directly in the eyes.

Their heads seemed to be getting closer and closer together. And soon, their lips were moving passionately against each other. Tonks linked her hands on the back of his neck. He laced his fingers in her lower waist.

"Can't you find somewhere else to do......that." A voice whined behind them.

They broke apart to see a disgusted looking Teddy standing halfway down the stairs in only his PJ bottoms. Tonks laughed at his expression as she moved away from Remus.

"You ok Teddy? You seem, horrified." Remus chuckled

"You would be too if you saw your parents doing that by the door first thing in the morning." Teddy replied

"I've caught mine doing worse." Remus said. Teddy looked at his dad in confusion, but then it clicked.

"Dad! I don't want to know that!" Teddy cried. "I mean, I caught Ginny and Harry once, but still!"

"Can we change the conversation. This is getting creepy." Tonks said

"Yeah. Can we get some food now? I'm starving." Tedy asked

"Sure. After, you out a top on."

"But mum-"

"No buts. No top. No food." Tonks said, crossing her arms.

Teddy glared at her but waved his wand and a top appeared on his body.

"Now we can go." Tonks said.

When they got to the building, Remus entered first. He suddenly felt like eating everything. He burst into the room hungrily. The usuals were there except Snape and Fred.

"Morning Remus." They all said happily

"Morning." Remus said, stomach growling

"You alright mate you seem....off." Sirius said eyeing Remus carefully

"No. I'm fine. Fine." Remus said. But as he said that, be felt himself growing weaker. He took a step towards the table.

"Remus!" Lily cried as he fell to the floor in a pale heap. Teddy came through the door to see everyone crowding around Remus who was now ghostly pale. Teddy had a panic look on his face

"Come quick! Mums fainted and she's gone all white!" Teddy cried

Lily rushed outside and saw Tonks lying on the ground. Her skin was like Remus's, almost transparent. Her hair was almost white. This wasn't good at all.

"Go get Severus. We need to take your parents upstairs." Lily commanded

"Why both of them?" teddy asked

"Your dad fainted as well." Lily replied

Teddy gasped before runnin off as fast as he could.

"Run, Teddy, run." Lily whispered

*.*.*.*.*.*.*.Remus's POV*.*.*.*.*.*.*.

I was lying somewhere. That much I knew. There was someone beside me. It was her, the women who changed my life for the better. It was for the better, right? I can't remember. It's hard to remember things now. Everything is all fuzzy and unclear. But Nymphadora is lying beside me. That I knew for sure, and couldn't be happier.

The feeling through my body was, pleasant. I felt really light, like I could just float away. But it's strangely peaceful. Like I'm finally letting go of everything.

A few things were clear in my mind now. I loved her, and I'd miss not having her around. Secondly, I don't have long left and should cherish my last moment. Lastly, I regret how I treated those closest to me. I should have trusted them more, but you can't change the past.

The world seemed to be getting fuzzy again, but stronger this time. I heard Teddy's voice but it was so distant.

"I'm sorry." I said aloud, my voice barely audible.

*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*End Of POV*.*.*.*.*.*.*

.*.*.*.*Third Person.*.*.*.*.

"I love you too dad. I'll never forget you." Teddy cried, holding his dad's hand. The others told him what was happening, they were leaving properly this time, he was going to be an orphan.....again. Teddy held both parents hands in his, holding them gently.

"Teddy, you have to go." A voice said from the door. Teddy turned around and saw Sirius and James by the door, solemn looks on their faces. Teddy looked back at the two on the bed, tears filling his eyes. He placed their hands together and they closed instantly, almost like instinct. Teddy was going to miss having a dad to make proud. And a mum to say 'I told you so' or 'I couldn't have been prouder'

And with one last tear gilled glance, he left the room, forever......

*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.Tonks's POV.*.*.*.*.*.*.*

His hand was holding onto mine, and the memories came flood back; how his lips tasted when he kissed me in the rain. When he moved in. Even our first night together.

My body started feeling lighter and lighter. It was so simple how it ended, but why did it have to end like this. I held onto his hand tightly. If I was leaving, the last thing I want to feel is him.

I can feel it now, the end. I wonder what it's like to finally let go? Does it hurt? Does it happen slowly?
