It had been a few days since Dumbledore's death. Tonks hadn't seen Remus since but that was understandable at these times.

The day of the funeral had arrived. Tonks had to get up eight in the morning to get ready. She put on black skinny jeans, her special black chained boots and a purple T-Shirt. She put her cloak on and disappeared. She landed in Hogsmead next to The Three Broomsticks, where she said she'd meet Remus. There was a POP further behind her. She turned round to see Remus standing there, looking smarter than usual and smiling. She ran to him as he opened his arms. As her body pressed against his, he wrapped his arms protectively around and kissed her head.

"I missed you." He whispered as their bodies parted.

"Missed you to." Tonks replied. They kissed softly on the lips before they headed up to Hogwarts. It was early, but it was still busy as they entered the grounds. Molly was crying softly as she sat down at her seat where the funeral was being held. But as he saw Remus with his arm around Tonks, she instantly stopped.

"Here it comes." Remus groaned as she came running up to them. Tonks slapped his stomach, earning her a kiss on the lips 

"I knew you would sort things out." She squealed happily, pulling them into a bone crushing hug.

"Tell me how." She cried, eventually letting them go.

"Kiss in the rain." They replied at the same time. Catching each other's eye and laughed.

"Aaaaw. I knew you'd change your mind Remus." Molly squealed again. But stopped when she saw the first glimpse of Dumbledore's body. Tonks stiffened when she saw it, her hair turning dark blue. Tonks could tell her eyes had gone blue as well

"Want to sit down?" Remus whispered into her ear. She nodded slightly; a tear escaped her light blue eyes. Remus guided Tonks to a seat and they sat down, hand in hand. As the minutes slowly progressed, almost every seat was filled. Tonks had stopped crying, for now, but as the Minister of the service droned on about his life and achievements, she couldn't help cry. Remus hadn't shed a tear yet, but she could see it in his grey eyes that he wanted to.

"You can cry as well you know." Tonks sniffed quietly

"I will, not here though." He replied. Glancing sideways he saw her blue hair and the tears dripping slowly and rhythmically off of her pale face. He pulled her close with a protective arm, comforting her slightly. Her hair turned a lighter blue as he kissed her cheek lovingly.

As the funeral ended and the silent, final farewells were said, the last of the serious tears were released. Remus took Tonks's hand tightly and they Dissaparated. Landing in an alley near her house, they walked slowly and mournfully towards safety. Tonks hurried so she could get there first to unlock the door. When she turned back, she saw tears streaming down Remus's face. Tonks sighed sympathetically before pulling him into her arms. He hugged her tightly, burying his face into her shoulder. His shoulders shook with each heart-breaking sob. She rubbed his back soothingly as he let go of all the emotions he had been holding back. A cold breeze swirled around the two lovers, bringing them closer for warmth.

"Want to go inside?" She asked.  

Remus nodded before loosening the hug. Tonks cupped his face with her hands and lightly kissed him on his lips. He smiled sadly before taking her hand and walking inside with her. He sighed loudly and wiped his tear-streaked face with his hands, leaving red marks on his face as Tonks locked the door behind them. Remus quickly hugged her from behind, making Tonks gasp with fright.

"I'm so happy I've got you." Remus whispered

"I'm so happy you gave me a chance." Tonks replied. She twisted around so she could see him. The tears had stopped but the evidence was crystal clear as his face glistened with tear tracks. Tonks cupped his face softly again and wiped away the tear tracks with her thumbs. Her touch sent warmth throughout Remus's cold body. He smiled happily before leaning down and kissing her gently. Lacing his hands behind her back, he pulled her closer so they could deepen the kiss. The kiss deepened with such passion, they had to break away soon after it started to catch their breath.

A few minutes later, they were sitting together on the couch, almost no space between them. Remus felt considerably better after spending his day with Tonks. It was almost evening when he went to go. Tonks was standing in the hallway as he put his jacket on.

"Tonks, can I ask you something?" Remus asked, a little nervous.

"Sure. What's up?" Tonks replied

"I know we have only been dating a few days, but with the Anti-Werewolf laws, things are getting harder to do and the cost of everything, food my house...."

"You want to move in with me?" Tonks asked

"I know it's pretty soon and I'll understand if you say no." Remus said quickly

"No that's fine. I understand. When you like to move?" She replied happily

"Really'" Remus cried "Thanks so much, maybe in the next few days or something."

"Yeah that'll be fine. I'll help." Tonks said

"No I can-"

"Remus I'm not asking you I'm telling you." Tonks said, cutting him off "I'd be happy to help and happy to have to have you living with me."

"Thank you so much." Remus sighed. He leaned down and kissed her lips before backing away. "I'll see you tomorrow. Come over to my house if you want to help. Around lunch will be fine." He called as he walked onto the street.

"Thanks. I will do. Stay safe." She called

"You to." He replied, voiced growing fainter. Tonks shut the door quickly. Looking around her house she wondered what could make her rid of in order for him to move in.

"Don't care what I have to lose as long as I get him in return." She thought to herself.

Remus hurried inside his house as quickly as he could. He was happy Tonks said yes.....but an unsure feeling filled his stomach. Was he sure he really wanted to do this? Or was he just using her?

"No. I love her, not using her." He growled to himself.

He knew in his heart he loved her more than anything.....but it was his mind that wasn't so sure.
