Secret Santa
"I don't want a lot for Christmas,
There is just one thing I need,
I don't care about the presents,
Underneath the Christmas Tree,
I just want you for my own,
More than you could ever know,
Make my wish come true,
All I want for Christmas,
Is you,"
Courtney smiled as she dug through her bag and pulled out a little peppermint candy cane, wrapped neatly with a red bow. She reached up and knocked three times on the door in front of her.
After a few moments, the door swung open and Duncan smirked down at her, his blue eyes shining brightly "Hey gorgeous," he breathed. Courtney smiled more and handed him the candy cane. He chuckled and took it from her, his fingers brushing her skin lightly as he did
"Someone's getting into the Holiday spirit," he teased, unwrapping the candy and sticking it in his mouth, a smirk still playing at his lips.
Courtney shrugged a little and reached into her bag as Duncan let her in, gently closing the door behind him
"Mocha!" Geoff beamed, she tossed him his candy cane, he barely caught it without falling back out of his gaming chair. "Thanks!"
Courtney walked over and took her usual seat on Duncan's messy bed. Duncan moved his actor textbooks out of her way as she did. "So... I have a stupid idea..." she said, her cheeks turning red. The boys looked at her, their eyebrows raised in curiosity.
"Why don't we all play a group game of Secret Santa?" she said, Duncan stared at her
"Isn't that kinda lame?" he said, sitting down next to her on his dorm bed. She wacked his shoulder gently
"It'll be fun! We all put our names into a hat and draw. Whoever we get we have to buy a present for, I'm pretty sure we all know each other pretty well by now," she said. Looking at Geoff for reassurance. Who shrugged
"I mean... I would hope so. Seems how each of us dating one another," he said.
"Come on, this is our last week of classes before we all go home for winter break. It'll be fun to end this marking period with some smiles," Courtney pleaded. Duncan looked back and forth between them, and rolled his eyes
"Fine," he said, sticking the candy cane back in his mouth "Whatever.."
"So everyone just write their name on a piece of paper and fold it up, I'll go around and collect them and put them in the bag," Courtney explained, as she looked around at the group
"What if you pull your own name?" Trent asked, Gwen at his side.
"Then you put it back and draw again," Courtney explained.
"Is there a price limit on these presents? Cause I still need money for my flight home," Bridgette said, Geoff's arm wrapped tightly around her shoulders. Courtney thought for a second
"How about 20 bucks?" she suggested, everyone shared a look and shrugged
"We're broke college kids, that's probably the best you're gonna get from us," Skye chuckled.
Gwen watched as Skye's phone vibrated a few times. But the girl was just ignoring it.
"Aren't ya gonna get that?" Gwen asked. Skye shrugged it off and silenced her phone completely
"It's just Jace... He's been trying to reach me for a few days since the show," she said. Courtney gave her a weird look
"I thought you guys made up. Heather kissed him, not the other way around," she said. Skye swallowed hard a little
"But he still kissed back... I don't really know if I'll ever be able to get past this and it blows. But whatever, onto our Secret Santa choices," Skye said, clapping her hands excitedly.
Courtney collected the names on the slips of paper and folded them and placed them into one of Geoff's cowboy hats.
"Just reach in and pick a piece of paper, don't let anyone know who it says," Courtney said.
One by one, the group each picked their slips and opened them, some smirking, and other's rolling their eyes. Courtney reached in and picked the last piece of paper and opened it
Bridgette
Perfect!
Courtney smiled and slipped her paper into her pocket.
"Who did you get, blondie?" Duncan asked, eyeing Skye. Who rolled her eyes and gave him a blank look
"I can't tell you doofus, that defeats the whole purpose of the game," she giggled.
Courtney smiled a little. It was nice seeing those two talking again. Things had been weird between the best friends since the ball. Neither of them had ever told her why. She had never wanted to ask.
Gwen reached in and mumbled something into Trent's ear, who caused the handsome musician to smirks and blush "Well guys, we gotta get going-"
"I thought we were all heading out to get hot cocoa?" Bridgette questioned, raising a brow.
"The chick wants to get laid, let em go!" Duncan chuckled. Causing massive blushes to form on Gwen and Trent's faces
"Ugh, lets go," Trent mumbled, grabbing Gwen's hand. She waved to the group before disappearing through the snowy day.
Duncan smirked at everyone "Neither one of them denied it though,"
Skye sighed in pleasure as he slowly massaged her shoulders. Her bra straps falling off to the side. She felt him unclasp her bra with a single hand and smiled gently
"I'm an expert at this baby doll," he whispered into her ear, as her bra fell from her body and to the floor. She took his callused hand and let her lead him to the bed. She gasped as he pushed her onto her back onto his bed. Moving aside some music books and acting acting books in his wake. He towered over her, his eyes dark. His lips found her neck and began to leave bite marks on it as his hands snaked down and began unbuckling her best.
Her eyes drifted closed as she moaned slightly. Her body relaxing. He knew her so well. So well.
"I'm so happy you're not mad at me anymore," he whispered into her ear "I've missed your body,"
"Oh..I've missed you too," she breathed, running her hands through his soft hair.
"I love you, Skye," he whispered, as her pants slid down and he kissed down her smooth stomach. Lower... And lower...
"Oh god... I love you too, Duncan,"
Skye bolted upwards in her bed. Covered in sweat. Her breathing labored and her heart pounding. She looked around and saw Zoey sleeping peaceful across the room in her own bed.
Skye squeezed her eyes shut and shook her head. Once she opened them she looked at the picture of her and Duncan together on her desk.
What the hell was she thinking?
She was a monster. A horrible person.
Reaching over she clicked on her phone and winced at the group picture staring back at her. Taken after opening night. Duncan and Courtney dressed as Danny and Sandy. Looking at each other. Skye was looking up at Jace with longing. Everyone smiling. Everyone happen.
No on knowing the secret.
Closing her phone she blew out a long breath and laid back down. She slowly reached under her pillow and pulled out her slip of paper from secret Santa. Her blue eyes slowly reading over the name again and again
Duncan
