There he goes again, Mark thought dismally, sitting up on his shabby single bed as the boy who slept across from him stirred in his sleep. The creaking of the mattress was now a sort of signal to him that the other was about to 'move'.
Choi Academy was an elite school full of spoiled brats with too much money. One feature of this school, was the fact that it was an all boys education centre, and another being their large dormitories.
Each room held up to eight students, and the facilities were all old fashioned since the establishment was knocking on two hundred years old. It was like a ridiculously large mansion tucked far away in the countryside......too far for anyone to run away, really. Thankfully, the classes were worthwhile and the life lessons each boy learned from eleven years and older were important.
As Mark pulled his legs closer to his chest, he cringed as the boy he knew as Lee Donghyuck sat up as well, eyes practically closed since he was technically asleep. The eery form of the drowsy teen sent all sorts of tingly fearful feelings to race up and down his spine.
As much as the raven haired male envied the younger for being able to sleep in the first place, he felt his insomnia amounted to nothing when places beside Donghyuck's somnambulism. His issue was completely shadowed.
Basically, the brunette had this crazy sleeping problem where he would walk, talk, and randomly act out strange things like pouring a glass of water, or preparing for a shower. The worst of it though, was something Mark wasn't really able to cope with......the sexual activity.
Since the insomniac was the only one awake each night to protect Donghyuck, he took it upon himself to watch over him and save the younger from any possible danger.
Of course, Donghyuck didn't know a thing. When he woke up, he had absolutely no recollections of ever wandering around or breaking rules. Mark was too spineless to bring it up, so he suffered in silence. Night after night, he'd sit in the darkness shrouded around the room, listening to the seven other boys' light breathing, and awaiting the horrors that would occur.
The younger crawled out of bed, body limp and moving with no purpose. It wasn't as though this happened every night, but it was far too frequent for the older's liking.
"Mhm," Donghyuck hummed, sauntering over to the large double French styled window at the end of the room, leaning his forehead against the glass. Why the curtain was even open was a mystery.
What is he doing? Mark wondered, eyes wide with worry. Taeil was in the bed right by his legs, and automatically in a danger zone because of it.
The ravenette got up, ignoring the chill that swept over his bare legs in the winter night air. Even in this season, he wore shorts because he hadn't the chance to retrieve his winter pyjamas from home yet.
"Hyuck," he whispered hoarsely, brows furrowed the closer he got. The younger swayed in his place slightly, turning around and catching the moonlight beautifully.
The bluish hue dripped over his slim frame covered by loose white pants and a long sleeved black top that hung below his collar bones. The permanently sun-kissed skin was always something alluring to everyone, making the teen quite popular with other boys.
Trailing over to Mark, though with eyes lidded and vacant, Donghyuck pushed his arms out to feel the other's body, to make sure it was there amidst the darkness.
"Back to bed," the older hummed in a low murmur, taking his hand and gently trying to guide him along. The younger was having none of it though, and absentmindedly giggled while pulling at Mark's arm.
Taeyong shuffled on his bed, muttering something about 'sleep' but nothing any conscious person would say.
Mark started to panic, getting pulled towards Donghyuck's bed and feeling the backs of his knees hit the frame before he collided backwards onto the mattress. In situations like these, the male was totally helpless due to his mannerly personality.
"Dongh-" he gasped out, though was interrupted as the other crawled quickly onto him. The ravenette was caged, that much was clear. With no way out and only having himself to blame for getting into this mess, Mark squeezed his eyes tightly shut and waited for this whole ordeal to end.
Like he usually did.
The younger, very unskilfully in his bleary state, picked at the shirt the older had on, pulling it up to expose his pale chest. The cold air hitting his skin made him shiver, his body seeming to lean into the warm hand Donghyuck offered.
Not again, Mark sighed inwardly to himself, always taking any chance to remember that it was either 'him or the others'. As long as he prevented Donghyuck from attacking another roommate, all was well.....right?
"Warm," the taller whispered airily as he leaned down to kiss along Mark's jaw. His hands were pressed to his firm chest, grabbing at the heat he wanted so desperately.
The ravenette let his arms hang loosely by his sides. He didn't know what to do with them more than anything else. Helping would've been crazy, and fighting the other off was a dumb idea.
"Ugh," Donghyuck hissed, tightening his thighs around Mark's hips when he started getting harder. The older chewed his lower lip, not wanting to end up in the same state so instead picturing anything else. Diverting his attention away from the godly boy atop his waist.
As the younger started to rock his hips, that was all it took for the older to gasp out and cover his mouth.
How do we always end up like this?!

"I can already feel how hard these exams are gonna be," Doyoung grumbled as he buttoned up his white shirt, facing one of the three floor length mirrors in their long room. There were four beds facing four with three floor length mirrors inside three spaces and an old wooden wardrobe inside the remaining gap.
"If you studied, then you should be fine," Taeyong assured the younger while pulling a belt through his black trousers.
Sicheng and Taeil were muttering away to each other quietly while pulling out their toothbrushes.
All the while, Mark was self-consciously fiddling with his tie, also looking into a mirror where he could coincidently see Donghyuck sitting on his own bed while pulling his black patent shoes on.
The older's thoughts kept trailing back to the night before, forcing him to shake it off and try hard to forget about it. There was nothing particularly different about it either, if he was honest. Donghyuck was always that pushy, though he attacked Mark much faster than usual. On a regular basis, the oblivious night walker would move around, make a little noise, cause trouble.....then pounce on Mark.
There was one problem though....
"Hey Sissyboy," the younger sighed from behind him, standing up to walk over and throw a heavy hand onto his shoulder. Mark shuddered, cringing while turning around to face him.
"What?"
"Do me a favour, yeah? I need to borrow your maths book since I lost mine last week, remember?"
The older sighed, "I already leant it to you once. Go buy another from the library-"
"Are you seriously arguing with me right now?!" He hissed, "Or am I hearing things?" Leaning in, Donghyuck's hot breath against Mark's ear was the height of intimidation. "Do you want me to shove a hockey stick inside you?"
"No!" Mark retorted, shoving him back with a disgusted look and rolling his eyes. "Fine, take my stupid book....."
In truth, he needed it just as much as his classmate did.....but he wasn't willing to suffer in order to keep it.
Donghyuck hated Mark.
Ever since the first day they were put in this dorm together, the younger had hated the 'gentle nature' of the older, hated the 'quiet staring' and hated the 'too good for everyone else' attitude he apparently wore.
There was no real rhyme or reason for it, just that Donghyuck hated Mark.
"C'mon, Hyuck," Yuta muttered, "Leave the kid alone. It's literally half six in the morning."
"It's not like Mark sleeps though," Jaehyun hummed, winking in the 'victim's' direction. "Insomniac."
"I think it's pretty cool," Taeyong sighed while fixing his hair and walking towards the door. "I've never met an insomniac before Mark."
Try meeting someone with somnambulism, the said teen thought with spite. Try looking out for someone and their secret when they hate you!
"I'm not even hungry," Yuta chided as all eight exited the room, Taeyong locking it before they walked down the halls followed by other sets of teens from various rooms. The dorm building had three floors, each with hallways of rooms. It was a maze if well described.
Donghyuck pinched Mark's side teasingly, then proceeded to storm off ahead of him. The confident sway in his hips and the false sense of friendliness drove the older insane.
Maybe he hates that I'm gay? The teen finally imagined, shrugging it off as pointless bullying and tiredly heading to the main building for breakfast in the canteen.
