Eevee's POV:

As she ran in the door, she could barely hear her father begin to scold her about being late: she was busy running to her room. As she slammed the door and locked it, she could hear her father begin banging on it.

What was she supposed to do? The paths ahead were the paths (separately) that a) her father wanted her to go on, and b) her heart wanted her to go on. She could only choose one, and when she did, there was no going back. But which should she go on?

Before she could answer the question, her father finally broke through. And by that I mean he burst through the door, breaking it and sending splinters flying throughout her room.

"WHY WERE YOU LATE???!" Umbreon yelled.

"Because the bus left without me!" Eevee yelled right back.

"That gives you no excuse to be late!!!!!" he yelled back. "Listen to me, you - "

Umbreon began cussing at her for an hour straight, Eevee listening in horror. Finally, Umbreon noticed that she hadn't responded.

"Oh, are you going to tell me about the treasure? Tell me EVERYTHING!" Umbreon was suddenly just interested, but Eevee could sense that it was false interest.

"Oh, I couldn't find out any information," Eevee lied unwillingly. "Everyone was very stiff. They just refused."

"Did they?" Umbreon responded. "Then give them this."

He handed her a vial that was filled with liquid of some sort, colored dark purple, almost maroon. It also bubbled, but only one big bubble every five seconds. As Eevee grabbed it, she realized: it felt warm to the touch.

"That's the Vial of Truth," he explained. "Make anyone drink this, and they'll spill out the truth on anything you say. However, it only works for two minutes, so make the answers quick."

"Got it," Eevee said, trying to look excited. "This is going to be great."

But in the back of her mind, she felt horrible. Her father was going to destroy the school, she just knew it. And everything she knew - her teachers, Nickit, and Pikachu - would be left to rot as her father took over the world.

How could she stop him?
