Thunder's pov

I woke up early and decided to go for a walk. Along the way I ran into the gym. Might as well have a look inside.

In the gym there was an obstacle course, with times of the fastest 10 Pokemon.

River was first no surprise there. Then there was others. I wasn't bothered about it. I when to leave but one for them stopped me.

???: Where do you think you are going.

Thunder: Back home.

???: I'm not letting you leave unless you do the obstacle course.

He's a mean one. I started the obstacle course because I could be bothered to argue with him. I didn't care so I went slow.

???: Do it properly. Are you scared that where faster than you.

Thunder: Who are you?

I didn't ask the first time cause I didn't care, but the way he's going on about it. I wanted to know.

Flare: Mine name is Flare. Now what's you name?

Thunder: It's Thunder.

I looked at the times. He was second by a fair bit. 20 seconds off Rivers time.

So I decided to take it as a challenge.

River's pov

I woke up to see Ruby looking around for something.

River: What are you looking for?

I got down and Shapphire woke up.

Ruby: I'm looking for Thunder. Have you seen him?

River: No, but I might have an idea of where he might be.

Ruby: Where?

River: The gym.

Ruby: OK bye.

River: Do you know where the gym is Ruby?

Ruby: No but I'll find it.

I guess I'll go with her so she doesn't get lost. I asked if Shapphire wanted to come.

Shapphire: I'll go I guess.

So off we when. We got to the gym to see Thunder getting into trouble.

We when thought the door and I see Thunder start the obstacle course.

Time skip brought to by Thunder doing the obstacle course in 1 minute

I look at the time not bad. I was still ahead but only by 1 second.

Ruby and Shapphire: I want to try it.

River: Ok. So how's going first.

Ruby: Me. I'm first.

Shapphire: I'll go second.

As I walk up to congratul Thunder, Flare was there.

Flare: You little

I cut him off. His face was a picture.
An ugly one.

River: Now Flare don't get two upset because your 3rd.

I see Thunder laughing.

Flare: Thunder shut up or I'll make you.

Thunder: I would like to see you try.

Flare: Come back here. It's no wounder why your family left you.

Thunder stopped his cheeks had little sparks coming of them.

I move away slowly so Flare didn't notice.

Just as pikachu when to attack Ruby Finished the course. She came 3rd.

Ruby: Thunder don't do it.

His cheeks stopped sparking and he went to carm down, but before he could Flare said something.

Flare: Yeah go to your girl friend before I take her.

He should of said that. Thunders cheeks were yellow.

He hit him and he when flying.

Just then Shapphire finished the course and she pushed Thunder to 3rd.

I wanted to leave not for Flares sake but for Thunders.

River: Come on guys let's go home.

We got back but something was wrong with Thunder. He had injured himself when he attacked Flare.

He went to his room. Ruby went to follow but I told her not to.
