River's pov

It hasn't been the same since the incident, but that's not the problem they aren't even talking to each other and worse they won't even be in the same room. Ruby's always with Megan and Thunder well he just stays outside. It's only been a week although Thunder hasn't healed that much it's odd to see them like this.

Me and Shapphire have tried to make them see each other but it's Thunder that's not budging, He thinks she hates him and wishes he just disappear. If only he knew that she felt like it's something they need to know about. He not going to tell her we all know that.

I don't like the fact Shapphire gave up after three attempts, I wish she knew it was going to take awhile before anything did work but she can be stubborn at the best of times. If only I could get them to speck to each other. I think I found what he fears but I'm not certain if it the losing of having on that he fears.

I have to find Shapphire but I don't want to lose track of Thunder In case he dose something stupid.

Ruby was getting her strength back slowly it would take anther two weeks before she is back to the way she was, anyway I need to find Shapphire I have a plan. I know it won't change anything but it will help in the long run if we ever try again.

Shapphire was in the kitchen and it started to rain.

River: Shapphire there you are.

Shapphire was looking out the window looking for Thunder.

Shapphire: Hi river, I wish he'd stay inside it would be easier to check on him and he wounded be cold.    

 River: I know but I think I have a plan.

Shapphire: Will it work?

River: Probably not but . . .

She interrupted me saying she wasn't interested in something that wouldn't work.  

River: It might help.

Shapphire: How?

River: Depends if it works.

Shapphire: But you just said it wouldn't.

River: I said I might not work.

Shapphire: Well what is it?

River: You know how he come's in at night then goes outside for the day.

Shapphire: yes what about it?

River: He falls asleep straight away.

Shapphire: Dose he?

River: Yes, so I was thinking to keep Ruby up till he falls asleep and send her then.

Shapphire: That could work but how do we keep Ruby up.

River: I thing I have some sort of clue what we could do if your up for helping?

Shapphire: I'll help, but what do we need?

River: Leave that to me.

We spent five minutes talking about getting the plan ready but one thing came up a lot, will Thunder notice that something is off. He probably won't since he hasn't noticed we where trying to do something for the past week.

Shapphire: OK, so I will try to keep ruby up as you keep a watch for Thunder.

River: And when I notice him fall asleep I will come in and tell you.

Shapphire: Sounds easy enough to pull off.

She had a point it did sound simple, all we have to do is wait as I find something that will keep Ruby up.

I had a couple hours to find something so I started with the living room, I got a couple games that I knew she hadn't played before. I went to the kitchen and looked for anything useful but found nothing. I had only searched two places and only had an hour before I looked suspicious. 

Ruby was getting smarter to our plans to get them back together and Thunder wasn't co-operating so basically he was stubborn. I would hate to try and get him to do something he didn't want to.

Time skip    

It's 9pm and Ruby was going to go to her room so I told told Shapphire to follow and try to keep her up.

Shapphire's pov

River had told me to go and try to keep Ruby awake. I followed her as she past Thunder room and look inside and shake her head, something up with her but she won't tell me. I want her to tell me but she just walks away when I mention his name.

We got to our room, we walked slowly. I went up to Ruby and tried to speak with her.

Shapphire: Hi Ruby.

Ruby: *sighs* Hi Shapphire.

Shapphire: Do you want to do something?

Ruby: Like what?

Shapphire: I game?

Ruby: No.

Shapphire: What's wrong?

Ruby: Nothing.

Shapphire: *sighs* OK.

Ruby: What's wrong with you?

Shapphire: Just want all of this to go away.

Ruby: Why do you want it to go away?

Shapphire: Nothing really, just want it all to be back to the way it was.

Ruby: There's more to it than that.

Shapphire: I want River to spend more time with me and to stop worrying as much over it.

Ruby: It all went downhill. I want to speak with Thunder but I don't think he's going to listen to me.

Shapphire: Want to play a game?

Ruby: Fine.

Shapphire: It might cheer you up.

We started the play the games River had got that I had bung.  

We had played the games for a while Then River came in.

Ruby's pov

I had been playing games with Shapphire for awhile then came in. What dose he want I thought.

River: Ruby would you like to come with me? 

Ruby: Why?

Shapphire: Just go with him.

Ruby: OK.

I followed River and Shapphire followed behind me. We walked to River's room and Thunder was fast asleep. I wanted to go up to him and share the same bed, but something was holding me back.

River: Go on Ruby.

Ruby: Really?

Shapphire: If you want to, do you?

I ran and jumped one the bed and started to cuddle Thunder his fur was really soft. I couldn't help but fall asleep next to him.

River's pov 

We saw Ruby fall asleep and Shapphire kissed me.

River: What was that for?

Shapphire: Me thinking that this would be a wast of time.

River: I'm surprised it worked.

Shapphire: Really your surprised that it worked?

River: Yes, If it was this easy then we should of done this first.

Shapphire: I know, everything just fell into place.

River: Do you mind if I sleep with you?

Shapphire blushed a deep shade of red when I asked and I chuckled.

Shapphire: No, why do you ask?

River: Don't want to wake them up.

Shapphire: OK, I'm going to bed now so come on.

I followed her to her bed. I started to fall asleep but not before Shapphire did. She fell asleep hugging me. Hopefully things will get better for us I thought as I fell asleep.
