Natalie Pov

Veggie and I have arrived at the village where they spent they're days at work and other things that run out here. I'm not like my father who just leave them as dust, but I do plan on making the kingdom brighter than it is for being a shadow in our colony.

"So, you live here in this magnificant place?" Veggie asked.

"Yes, but these citizens are what make this a happier place other than what my father has been holding up." I replied as I gaze up at the palace knowing that my father might not even care if I return for escaping that is.

"Shall we head up to your home?" Veggie asked.

"Yes, let us go." I replied as he picked me up as we flew to where the palace entrance was that the royal guards went into protective mode noticing Veggie carrying me.

"Guards settle down when he is the one who return me home." I spoke in a strict tone as they stood in a straight position.

"Woah, you seriously have a way to make a man follow their motto." Veggie grinned.

"Yeah, its kinda my thing you know?" 

We made our way inside as Veggie scan around the palace amazed of its beauty that was created in a very well detail design. When they announced of my return I saw my father walking down the stairs glaring at me as I rolled my eyes knowing the lecturing was coming.

"Natalie, you are going to be late if you don't get ready for the ball." Father said. 

Wait, what?

"A ball?" I asked.

"Yes. We are having a ball for you to choose a husband to rule by your side in this kingdom. Go!" Father instructed as I was being taken away by the maids that escorted me to my room leaving Veggie alone with him that I wish that I could send him a big bang to stop my father and ask what's going on.

Veggie Pov

"Yo!" I greeted.

"Excuse me? I don't highly recommend such a rude greeting from a...uh....monkey man?" The king scrunch up his nose as I bowed with respect.

"My apologies your highness, I am Vegito Son that is the one who brought your daughter here in the kingdom. May I ask why are you holding up a ball for her to find a man to force her heart?" I asked looking up at him as he huffed.

"It's my role if you ask me. I'm getting old and she needs a man in her life to rule by her side to run the kingdom as it should be." He replied.

"Oh, would you let me join in the party as an honor guest for keeping her safe." I asked.

"Why of course. You may seem to have a sharp mind of becoming the new king like any man would?" He asked as I felt a lump in my throat that I knew something wasn't right about him from asking that question when I am not like any man to take that option. 

"Uh, no your highness." I replied.

"Hm, you are someone I have not met before would you like to spend time with me until the ball starts this evening? I would order a suit for you to wear while your at it." He said.

"That would be nice." I said.
