So. 

Crazy sports people.

They're annoying.

This isn't a topic I really know about, because nobody in my family watches sports that much. But I'll try.

It's really annoying when you're around these people. All they want to do is talk about their favorite sports teams, which is something that I find really frustrating. 

Like, you try talking to your friend Steve, right? And let's say that Steve is a huge fan of the Toronto Bluejays. So you're typical conversation with Steve will go something like this:

You: Hey Steve!

Steve: 'Sup.

You: You seem kinda down. Why's that?

Steve: My team lost! again! I can't believe them! They were doing so great and then they just started doing terrible all of a sudden! 

You: Cool. Uh-which team do you support again?

Steve: The Bluejays. Only the best team ever.

And now let's say that you don't particularly like this team, alright? But if you go and say that to Steve, he'll flip out. Like, here:

You: Oh, I don't really like them that much.

Steve: HOW COULD YOU???? You betrayed me! we can't be friends anymore if you don't like my sports team!!!

You: To be honest, I don't know why we're friends in the first place.

And then there's this scenario:

Steve: My team lost. Again.

You: Well, that's not the end of the world, is it?

Steve: It is the end of the world!! If they don't pull themselves together by their next game, they won't make it to the playoffs!! And if they don't make it, I won't have anyone to cheer for! There'll be no reason to watch the game!

You: Uh... okay?

Steve: goes on a twelve-minute rant about the importance of his team getting to the playoffs

It's just annoying. 

Look, Steve, if you want to rant about your sports team's lack of wins this season, go find someone who cares.

And then there's when you go over to Steve's house to watch a game, and his team loses.

Steve: NOOO!!!! you imbeciles! how could you let me down!!!! AAARRRGHH!!!! flips table

You: Dude, chill. It's just a game.

Steve: I don't know the meaning of the word "chill" anymore!!!!

Okay, I'm gonna end this rant here. I'm sorry if it wasn't great, but I tried.
