Y/N's POV

It has been a troubling night my head has been aching for quite a while now I couldn't quite understand what had happened to my partner Danny, he always has my back throughout our investigation and through the hell, we've been encountered over those 4 weeks but why must it happen? How did Danny got infected? We were in a secured location how did those monsters manage to find us? Along the way, I couldn't feel myself think anymore for once slowly as if I were drifting off into nothingness the empty void that was dragging me calling me over... "Hello! (Y/n)! Are you still with me??" I snapped out instantly from the troubling voice looking down on my hand where I still held the walkie-talkie, I got it slightly close to my lips as I responded: "Yes sir, I'm still here!" I got a clear look where I was at completely facing over at a building... A school... surprisingly I didn't expect that I've been walking around aimlessly but get to the certain location that this person known as Mr. P through the speaker "Alright Mr. P... Why'd you sent me here?" I asked cautiously while my gaze stayed attached at the school building sensing an uneasy vibe towards it "I need you to rescue a friend of mine from that school... She's trapped there so I needed your help to get her back safely, meet me in sewers when you find her!" he spoke as the last bit was all static but clear enough to hear his last words "Sir, do you know where she's located?" I asked but it just responded with a horrible hissing of the walkie-talkie as he's already off. I let out a deep disquietude sigh yet I held myself together "Okay... I'm going to..."

No one's POV

The area seems fine when walked in but over at the gym it caught my attention... 'Why the hell is there a laser barrier blocking the Gym? What kind of school has this high security for some reason' you thought? You proceeded to wander around checking each door some are locked and some aren't there from one of the classroom's there was a key laying on the floor you decided to pick it up just in case, you went further down the school halls from the distance heavy footsteps echoed over (Y/n)'s direction through his curiosity (Y/n) hesitantly approached and decided to call out for it hoping it would be either a survivor or a friend of Mr. P yet he was dead wrong. It was a teacher but sadly she has infected her eyes were dark as tar while her yellow pupils glowed in such a menacing look... Suddenly she sprinted towards you from your instincts (Y/n) immediately pulled out a gun and shot her on the knee seeing her dropped on the cold floor knocking her out "Shit... That was my last bullet hope it was enough to buy me some time!" (Y/n) hurriedly ran off searching every area in hopes they're here... While he was just about to pass the door it banged loudly enough as he stopped from his tracks a feminine voice shouted out slightly muffled behind it "Hello? Is anyone there? Please let me out of here!" The woman cried out just by the corners (Y/n) could hear the revolting gnarls drawing closer he peered over to the key he just took with him, quickly he inserted the key attempting to unlock the door in hopes it would work... A loud click was heard from the doorknob "Yes!" as it opened he was greeted by a girl with an eye patch and a Crossbow on hand she gave out a thankful smile on her face "Thank you for freeing me! I thought I would be stuck in here... My name is Rebecca" she introduced herself you nodded in relief "The name's (Y/n), let's just cut this short with the introductions we must go now it's not safe here-" "WATCH OUT!!" she shouted cutting (Y/n) off guard as the presence and the deep shuddering growls was just behind him. he turned around catching sight of the Teacher just about to stab but was prevented as a carrot was fired hitting through her eye as a horrific shriek coming out from the teacher backed away, a soft hand grabbed hold of mine forcefully dragged me away as I turned back facing her "Come on!! Let's just get out of here!" she exclaimed he wanted to question her why she used a carrot as a shot though... he managed to catch up with her pace running right beside her.

Bunny/Rebeccas POV

It took us a while for the both us to get around the school and unlocking some certain areas for us to escape there were counters that me and (Y/n) nearly got caught from the teacher but luckily carrots were laying around for me to use, we then ran down to the basement as we both found the key to the sewers I ran through as (Y/n) followed behind me slamming the door behind us just in time as the door banged violently we both panted heavily in such relief we're finally safe... "Looks like the two of you finally made it out safely! I was worried..." we both turned our gaze meeting Mr. P who stood there concernedly yet glad I nodded and smiled,   something laid against my shoulder and limped over my side nearly pushing me off balance staring down was (Y/n) he had his head laid there... He doesn't look too good "Rebecca... I don't feel... too..." he suddenly passed out instantly I held onto him in such a panic looking over at Mr. P "Mr. P! We should get him to the hospital now!" I exclaimed as he nodded vigorously... The both of us hurried our way over at the Hospital we had him down on the medical bed rushing him in the emergency room while looking down at him "Please just hang in there, (Y/n)... We're going to help you!"

Time passed later...

No one's POV

(Y/n) had woken up his vision was a blur while his head felt like it had been pounded by a rock, he sat up groaning you caught sight of Rebecca who seemed to Zone out (Y/n) was bothered about it so he placed a hand on her head as she jolted snapping her look at him with a surprised expression "Rebecca are you alright...?" he asked worriedly as Rebecca couldn't help but blush from his touch but responded "Yes I'm fine... I'm glad you're finally up! Listen... (Y/n), It's not safe here. Not anymore... We have to get out of the hospital now!" she said while helping you get off the clinic bed as you nearly fell down "Ughh... H-How long have I been asleep?" you asked but Rebecca didn't respond as she held onto the crossbow she looked uneasy but confident "Come now... we shouldn't overstay here! Mr. P is waiting for us on the roof. Let's just hurry!" She held his hand and handed him the gun "It's loaded but it only has three bullets... Use it wisely (Y/n)..." He nodded as the two ran towards the top floor while they're heading over there the doors were locked the two decided to stick together on this and also kept a close eye from their surroundings, it took them 2 minutes as they had the last item to escape the both of them ran as Rebecca turned her gaze at (Y/n) "Come on now (Y/n)! We're nearly there!" she said yet she wasn't focused over where she's going as a doctor appeared out of nowhere with a falchion about to stab her "REBECCA!!!" he yelled strenuously he pulled her away embracing her close as he turned back from him as the doctor cut his arm as it bled out making him groan in pain "(Y-Y/n)!!" Rebecca was in complete shock (Y/n) pointed the gun at the infected doctor shooting him by the eye as it dropped his weapon down, he swooped Rebecca off the ground holding her in his arms in bridal style before running off not stopping even the excruciating pain. Rebecca held onto him yet blushed embarrassedly yet she felt ashamed of herself for not protecting him... As they reached over to the very top the cold breeze brush against us he gently put Rebecca down on her feet as the two looked over the Helipad but... The helicopter isn't there the two were in shock... "They... They left without us..." Rebecca said softly in disbelief as for (Y/n) he a bit furious for leaving them both behind in the hospital he let out a deep annoyed sigh "... We need to find another way out another route for us to escape... Again..." (Y/n) said as he walked off back over but stood there at the door he turned his back looking at Rebecca as she stood there "Rebecca... Are you coming?" he called out for her but no respond (Y/n) slowly walked up to her as he held her from behind just in case a soft gasp was heard coming from her as she looked up to him, your (E/c) eyes met her beautiful blue hues "You know... if there's something wrong... You could tell me? I'll be here for you Rebecca... along the way I promise we'll get this through together..." he spoke gently to her as his voice just whispered against her ears making her shudder "(Y-Y/n)... I..." as she was trying to speak she was nervous he lets go of her as he felt like he was troubling her "O-Oh sorry if I hugged you like that I didn't mean to-" "No!" Rebecca pulled him back hugging him closely as she buried her face against (Y/n)'s chest "It's fine..." (Y/n) blushed lightly but smiled as he patted her head gently Rebecca looked up to him smiling as well "We should get you some bandages first... I wouldn't you fainting off from bloodloss" she said concernedly as he replied with a nod... He held her hand gently as they went back inside the hospital making sure they'll be both safe... But... Nothing always ends...

"I promise! We'll stay strong together, Rebecca!"

You can't just keep making promises that you can't keep...

"We'll get through with all of this... I'm sure of it!"

Just hope all you want... but it wouldn't work...

"R-Rebecca...? Why did you do it...?"

Cause in the end...

"Please... I don't want to lose you..."

You'll just keep losing them all over again...

"Good Luck... My (Y/n)..."

"I'm coming for you Mr. P..."
