"DAMN IT!!!"

From the distance, Travis was on the run through the rundown city with a wounded leg but still manages to get through with it. He had to escape from everyone who was already infected as he was unsure what was the cause of this to see his friends act so violently, further he went as he ran down the dimmed alleyway it reeks from the terrible stench coming from the trash bags... Ahead of him is a dead-end the grotesque snarls and growls drew closer just right behind him, Travis had two daggers carrying on each of his hands yet he couldn't bring himself to bring harm except for them. He stood in front of the brick wall on top of it was covered with barbed wires but what choice does he have..? Kill his friends or risk his life trying to climb over it with a broken leg? "....Fuck it" he muttered out and place one dagger on his mouth taking a step back before charging to the brick wall boosting himself up over to the wall while a loud crack was heard coming from his leg making him groan loudly in pain biting down the handle of the dagger as it bled out, he managed to cling on the top as he used his strength to pull himself up and over to the wall but the barbed wire clang onto his clothes tearing them especially cutting some of his bare flesh open. From the overwhelming pain and blood lost his vision began to blur up his breathing hitched the deep growls behind him echoing to his ears, Travis suddenly collapsed to the ground as his body couldn't move it felt like it already gave up he was losing so much blood he opened his mouth as the dagger laid on the cold cement floor catching in some air for once... "I guess this is it... I'm done for..." he mumbled out looking to the blurry view he could see someone approaching him but he has no way of escaping or even react he let out a weak soft sigh slowly closing his eyes as he accepted his faith...

Later...

A beautiful melody was played delicately just beside Travis he felt in such warmth wrapped around his body, he opened his eyes slowly his vision was slightly foggy Travis blinked a couple of times as it cleared up he sat up and finding himself in a beanbag "What the hell...?" gazing over himself his shirt was missing yet saw bandages wrapped around his chest and leg still ached in pain as he tried getting up he let out a heavy sigh he wondered how'd he got here as inspected his surroundings he found out he was inside like a tent...? A sound of the zipper unzipped down the tent caught his attention he immediately laid back and shut his eyes pretending to be asleep. It was quiet for a moment but he felt a presence looming closer to him until a hand gently stroked his forehead "hmm... His temperature is already down that's a good sign" a girl's angelic voice spoke such a soft caring tone "I should clean his wounds again to prevent any further infections..." the sounds of the zipper being zipped open on a beanbag, Travis stayed calm from this and quiet as he felt the gentle hands against his bare chest making him a bit uneasy. The bandage became loosen around him letting in the cold air brush against his wound he couldn't really see what's going on as he just felt the hands doing work... Until...

"FUCK!!"

Angel/Angelica's POV

As I was gently adding the alcohol against his wounds he immediately shouted and pounced over me pinning me down on the floor dropping the alcohol in utter shock, the man gazed at my figure in such anger as I shuddered in fear below me as my hands are shaking violently while looking at his golden pupils a slight blushed crept on my cheek I never thought his eyes would be so beautiful up close but scary at the same time... We stayed like this for a minute until he calmed down letting go of me "Oh... Shit... Sorry about that... I didn't mean to lash out like that...." he said as he backed off me apologizing again slowly I sat up but couldn't speak to him I'm terribly bad at talking to living people since I was just taken down from the heavens and have no clue how to communicate with them exactly, it was uncomfortably quiet for the both of us until I heard him speak "Hey, why are you wearing an angel costume for some reason? It ain't Halloween or even close to October..." it surprised me as he thinks I am wearing a costume I respond back shaking my head 'no' as I tried to explain myself "Th-This isn't a c-costume! I'm actually an a-angel sent from th-the heavens to save you from danger!" I shyly spoke but by the looks of his, he doesn't seem to be convinced from my words "Yeah... Sure, an angel that just came falling from the heavens to rescue my ass... And by the tone of yours it doesn't even sound persuading to me..." he crossed his arms this kinda broke me but I have to make him believe it as I spread my wings slightly "T-Touch my w-wings then! They are real!" Determined I am but he just refused "Nah... Probably just some mechanical wings just for sure..." "How about m-my halo? Wh-Why is it floating then? There aren't any strings attached to it!" I tried to prove myself that I am an Angel from the heavens that they told me to protect him and stay by his side but no matter how much I tried he would deny it... "Listen... I know how determined you are just to prove yourself that you're a real angel and all but could you just stop the act? It's annoying..." he said as he was irritated because of me I frowned looking down "S-Sorry..." softly I apologized to him it was quiet for a moment until I felt something on my head gazing upwards he had his hand placed on my head as he patted me gently "Don't go all crying on me will you..? You act like such a baby... Anyways My name is Travis who are you?" he asked me but his tone was gentle and calming "My n-name is A-Angelica..." I replied while looking at him slightly "Angelica... Suits you nicely, so... where am I exactly, and how long was I out for...?" "We're in m-middle of the forest and it's a-around noon, the monsters... They won't be here of course and I made sure of that..! And you've been asleep for 3 days but I took care of you while you're still asleep!" she explained to him "Three days...? How the fuck am I still alive..." he muttered out softly "Umm... Because I s-saved your life and n-nurtured you back to health while you're unconscious..." I answered his question "Good point..." he groans as he laid back down on the beanbag as he took a breath "May I have your permission to patch you up..? Travis?"

Travis/Tigry's POV

"Yeah... Sure whatever..." I covered my eyes with my arm as I heard her replied with an 'okay...' I hear her shuffling on some items as I feel the soft fabric wrapping on me "Umm... T-Travis?" she stopped as she spoke up "What...?" "Mind if you s-sit up for a bit so I c-could wrap the bandage around you..?" she asked in a very polite tone I don't understand why she sounded nervous I sighed and sat up as I looked down at her as eyes locked with one another "Better..?" I asked her and she just started in my eyes just like this... I find it cute just by looking at her "Angelica...?" "O-Oh!! U-Um s-s-sorry! I didn't mean to s-stare at you like that! H-How rude of me..." she stammered out as she then wrapped the bandages suddenly but she's doing it tight... "Angelica... That's a bit tight..." "Ah! Sorry, Travis!" She was acting so tense so I held her hand to stop her from shaking "Calm down I ain't gonna bite you of course... Relax Angelica" I said to her as Angelica looked at me noticing her pink blush softly sighing as I guided her hand slowly helping her wrap the bandage but in a much careful way, Angelica seemed to calm down now... once we finished I laid back down while Angelica just packed up the medical items "Travis... since I'm here by your side, I... I only have little time to be with you... I will be sent back to heavens within two weeks, I'm worried when I leave... Something bad might happen to you..." she was concerned she was frightened as well even though I just met her I guess having her with me than having no one is better than being alone... I patted her head again just so she wouldn't worry too much I gave a small smile to accompany that "Don't worry your little head... I do appreciate your company though and having another chance to survive again... I guess you are an angel..." as I said that I saw her eyes glimmered when I said that "Probably not— Who knows..." I added to only joke with her but only made her smile drop giving me those teary puppy eyes as she was going to cry "Hey I'm just kidding! Please don't cry, Angelica..." I regretted trying joke with her as I pulled her into a hug "I'm sorry..." as I held her I felt her wings against my hand it was very soft "It's okay... Call me an Angel or not... But I promise to protect you as long as I could!" She said she pulled back as I looked down at her smiling and nodded "Yeah... and I will protect you as long as I could be with you... Angelica..." I saw her blush once again as she smiled brightly but in the end I know that I wouldn't last long but having someone is enough to go through all this mess... Together...
