Callie's Pov: "Callie, watch out!!!" I heard Zizzy yell before I suddenly blacked out. I saw darkness for a few seconds before I heard my voice being quietly called. "Callie? Callie?? Your awake!". I slowly blinked my eyes open and rubbed them since my vision was a bit blurred from just waking up. "Zizzy?.......What happened?" "You were struck in the head by an infected with a baseball bat". I rubbed the back of my head and winced. "You just need some rest for now" "Rest? How long was I knocked out for?" "About 2 hours". I sighed and closed my eyes trying to relax myself" "If you want I can get you something" "No, I'm fine Zizzy". She nodded and got up to leave the room. I looked around and finally realized I was in my room at the safeplace.

~Time skip~

I woke up the next day, with a headache. I sighed and slowly sat up on my bed. I slowly got up and walked towards the bedroom door, opening it and slowly going out to the kitchen. I saw Zizzy and Pony leaned against the counter across from each other talking. I slightly got jealous but tried not to worry about it. I decided to intervene. "Hay Zizzy.....hay Pony....wanna help me make pancakes. Zee and Zuzy suddenly ran out "Ooo can we help Callie!". I slightly smiled "Sure". They jumped up happily and we all started to make pancakes.

After breakfast I started to think about the whole infection thing. "Geez I hope Zizzy doesn't get it. If she does....I don't know what I'll do.........Ill never get a chance to tell her my feelings..." "What was that" I suddenly heard Zee say from behind me. "Zee! Please don't tell Zizzy" "Okay! But.....you have to make pancakes every morning from now on". I sighed grumpily "Fiinnne". She giggled and quickly ran off, thanking me before she left.

Before I could go back to my thoughts, Zizzy slowly came around the corner "Y'know, I heard all of that Callie". I gasped and quickly hid my face as I started to blush. Zizzy sat down next to me and stared "Callie........its okay.....you don't need to feel embarrassed.......cuz.........I feel the same way". She gave me a smiled that calmed me. It gave me the courage to smile back. "Y-.....you do?" "Yeah" she said before hugging me. I leaned more into her warm hug and smiled. I felt happy. I never thought she liked me back. She hid her feelings pretty well, just like me.
