-A new beginning-
After a stressful hours of flying through clear open mid-air, pacing past faded swirled clouds as if you were a predator eagle. Which you aren't really. A bright, round sun was beginning to descend its very day. Ticking its last days of a person.
Ash was now fast asleep with his eyes wide shut covering his hazel eyes. Probably having a nice dream while in his seat letting out loud snores which did distract the older man reading a papered newspaper in hand beside Ash, annoyed, from an impulsive sound which was really disturbing, he was on a page of based sports that had Man Utd winning the Europa league cup 2-0 their very first time winning a European trophy for six years after beating a Dutch F.C Ajax.
It hardened the older man to read a simple newspaper in silence, without it, he couldn't continue reading on.
He gritted his teeth in silence, resisting himself to shout inside him by every time Ash snores, causing him to lose concentration on the newspaper page after page. He glanced over his free shoulder in a flash at Ash, then back to the newspaper. Holding firmly in his hand. Trying to concentrate reading on.
Meanwhile in other row seats on a flying plane. There were other people snoring loud were already fast asleep in their own seat on the airplane which Ash is one of them of course. However, it did make some people cringe from the annoying sound they are hearing from others around. Also a one infant shouted a cry which was even more disturbing than ever.
Finally after a long time like people usually wait as long as they ever had.
The stretched airplane was nearly flying to its targeted destination as it flies through the big clouds and reveals out a clear view of Kalos where a blue ocean was waving in sandy shores and fields brightening up from the sun rays making as bright as ever.
While flying straight up in air, the stretched plane slowly descends down in a careful speed at a straight, long road for landing without rush or cause disruption into a serious problem. When it came close for landing, the plane successfully lands on ground with wheels touched the ground by giving out a loud wallop inside plane which made most people woke up from a heavy slumber.
Same for Ash who also woke up. He slowly slides his eyes open and blinks a few times for a better vision. When he did, He turned his head at an oval window to see the plane has landed on ground, driving past other transport on one side while the other was an open field.
"Kalos" was all he muttered under his breath which soon formed into a welcoming wide smile on his dried lips, gazing out the clear window where he saw other stretched planes near a tall building before his hazel eyes. He couldn't help, but smile even more than ever. Feeling very impatience to tour around the new abroad of Kalos. Also, he couldn't even hold on what will be his adventure in this very own new region.
With a couple minutes go by. The plane finally stopped in its dead tracks as it shuts down its own hot engine after using it a long drive. A door slid open with a steel stair machine connecting the door to allow people to step down stairs.
"We have arrived in the Kalos region. Hope you have great day" an announcer spoke from the speakers.
As soon as it said that. People already un-connected their seat belts around their stomach and, stood up from their seat to get their luggage on top shelf and head out the plane after giving out a farewell to the staff, then step out to the new region.
Ash grabs his own rucksack from shelf and walks to the exit door with it in his hand. He stepped out the stretch plane as a bright sun gleams down upon him with a warm breeze blowing his tanned face as he gazed around his surrounding watching people around on land. A smile was brought on his lips. He inhales air in his nostrils and lets out a loud shout by stretching his arms open like he was doing a cheer.
"Hey Kalos region! Ash Ketchum from pallet town is finally here" he shouted on top of his lungs which git most people's attention on ground to look up at him while they walk. Ash placed his cupped hands near to his thin lips for better voice then places them down beside his own hips as he stood still without noticing an old aged women walk past him, giving a mean-full glare at him.
"Humph, what a kid" she muttered to herself and slowly steps down the stairs, not to fall over or else her back will break into pieces. However, when she said this, Ash clearly heard it and signs dramatically. Ignoring the old women's word from before.
He moves on by stepping forward his right foot on very first stair step then the other, reaching at ground floor. Which he did successfully without slipping and falling off. Ash now heads to the big building with other citizens beside him and a heavy rucksack, gripped in his hand.
When they entered through sliding doors. They got their own luggages from machine, which took nearly a half hour and later head outside in a bright warm sun with family and friends. Ash waited impatiently for his own pack to come, nearly taking another half hour. Wasting his own precious time.
Finally, his luggage arrived in sight. He grabs a hold of it tight at a handle when it came near as muscle tensed with enough strength and walks off to the exit door of the building, until he sees some people with boards of sign in their hands that had names written on.
Ash was complete unaware as he kept on looking without knowing where to go. When suddenly, he bumps into a man hard. Causing both of them step back from a hard impact.
Ash rubs his head in pain without dropping his bag and looks up, only to see an old man with a sign in his own hand. A puzzle expression stamped on Ash's expression, thinking about the man presence until he spoke out.
"I'm very sorry." He said. Bowing ninety-degree right angle at Ash who looked very confused at the old man and soon changed it to a smile with a sweat drop trickling down his forehead.
"No it's fine," he said as he was about to continue speaking and walk off, if that what he thinks. However, his hazel orb eyes caught something in his sight at an older man in front, holding a sign that had his own original name written on it.
The man notices Ash gaze and glances down at it. "Oh, you looking at this board, well, have you seen Mr Ash Ketchum." He said in a gentle manner. Not to show any disrespect towards the young boy before him. Which he is unaware that his answer was indeed in front of his very own eyes.
Without no hesitation. Ash spoke out. "Yeah, That's me" he pointed to himself at the chest and nodded in response truthfully to the man who looked quite surprised then soon changed into a gentle old smile that he had found the right person.
"Ah Mr Ketchum, I've been expecting you since I have arrived." he continued in a gentle manner and motioned by swinging his free arm up at the exit where various people bobbed through automatic sliding doors.
"Well shall we leave, we must get you to your destination" he continued and walks off away from Ash who was very confused on what he just means, but followed his way. He still did not know why there was a name on the board. Was there something important for him? He still couldn't place a finger on the hard answer.
When the duo step out through sliding doors after them. Ash watches in sight at an older man as he arrives at a black slick car. The out layer shined bright as a sharp knife peak and it looks rather new. What Ash was full of flabbergasted on is that it was very expensive, knowing the rich company that made the transport.
Old man turned his head at Ash's direction when entering in a black car, motioning his way to come inside. Ash was skeptical at first, but followed the old man in confusion as he arrives at the transport, putting his own rucksack at backseat of the car and takes a seat on a passenger seat beside the old man.
Putting seatbelt on over chest. Sitting comfortably in seat as heat rises under. Ash looked up straight ahead at the windscreen. The engine roared on and old man shifts gear while slightly turning the steering wheel to right as the stretch car did its move sympathetically and driven off pavement. Continuing on the road where other random cars drive by, as the duo take a long journey through Kalos, more like a tour for Ash.
His eyes sets his all over the place getting every detail, gazing at every sight of him. He couldn't tell how amazing the city was before his auburn eyes; it was speechless. The city was very popular than his hometown in Kanto and building were very high as possible, there was even one tower that was taller than the rest in the city.
"This place is cool" He mumbled with a normal tone.
While Ash was scanning around the city out at the rear window, which he wasn't actually was doing right now at this time of rate. The real reason was the old man was taking the raven young boy to a place. A place filled with lots of young aged students who have problems of their own lives and troubles along the way. It was kind of like a school as any other, but this was different with education slightly easier and support was at its best.
When Ash was at its final gaze of the city. It soon changed into complete dark as the car enters inside a dark tunnel that leads only a straight road without knowing what was up ahead. The sight was pitch black but enough to touch surrounding. A bright light spotted straight ahead in distance making Ash squint from the brightness in his eyes while the old man stayed cool as ice which didn't affect him at all since he may know the place where he was going and has been through this for a couple of times.
The brightness circulates near in view as it grows bigger and bigger when getting closer and finally drives through it making Ash closed his eyes shut for a moment, not looking up on whats ahead of him with the car out from a dark tunnel.
Soon opening his eyes, turned his head up, and looked straight ahead. Surprised, he saw a bricked building that had pattern of layers and a alone flag on top of tower waving in air. There were fields of trees with green leaves on each side while driving past as they came close to a steel gate, driving thought it without hesitation as the gate was already opened.
Upon entering. The old man parked the modern car to an empty space where there's no other cars alongside while Ash was mystified of the building before his very own eyes. It bigger than the tower that he had seen before. However, he did not even know one bit of the place, which was secret yet mysterious.
For a moment. Ash lets his words come out from his mouth with a surprise expression all over his face. "What is this place?" he spoke without glancing back at the man.
The old man parked his slick car and switched the engine off. Glancing at Ash who was completely staring at the tall building. The man spoke. "Well, you shall i find out." He responded as he unlocks the car door, pushing it open with some strength and takes a step a out of the car by putting his foot on hard ground after closing.
When a loud thud from a door at driving seat was heard sending waves at Ash's ear. Ash broke his dream world on the building and he too steps out of the transport with his rucksack from backseat then followed the old man that was walking towards the closed entrance of the bricked building. Although, what got Ash curios to know was a boy standing near the doorway. He was the same age as Ash and was alone with no around.
When both the old man and Ash got closer to the unknown boy. He looked up at them and formed a friendly smiled when Ash got closer to the unknown boy in front him.
"Hello," he greeted with a smile which made Ash soften from curios. "The names Clemont citron "He slid his free hand to Ash. Offering a handshake with an open hand, sticking out five fingers. "Nice to meet you and what's your name" he questioned.
For a silent moment, needless to say anything. Ash gazed at the yellow haired boy, his skin was vanilish cream and his only accessories was a round lens, glasses that went round the edge of his cerulean eyes. A smile was stuck on his young face as his hand was stuck out to Ash. Waiting for an action to be responded.
Ash looked at Clemont for a short second and slid his view at the free handshake. Changing into a wide Smile. He stuck out a hand and slid inside in Clemont's hand. Handshaking it, gripping it a little lighter.
"My name is Ash Ketchum and from pallet town" he said with a smile as he still keeps shaking Clemont hand and departs in a few second when Clemont spoke.
"Pallet town" he repeated. "Isn't that far away from your home?" He said, receiving an affirmation nod.
"Yes it is." He continued. "And this is my first time in this region" he said. Knowing why he moved from before at the hospital back home.
"Oh right, well, welcome to Kalos region then. I guess you are the new student here. I'm I correct?" He questioned again as his reflected the shine from bright glaring sun.
Nod again in response. Ash spoke. "Yes I am." With a signature smile.
When he said that. The old man standing beside the two boys for a long moments, finally spoke out. "Mr Ketchum. I believe this my goodbye," he continued and motioned at Clemont. "Clemont will escort you to your place" he said. Moreover, with that final saying.
With that, The old man turned around and walks off away from the two boys, stepping down the stairs and goes to his parked car where Ash was once sat after the long touring travel from airport.
As the old man gets himself inside the vehicle once again. Clemont turned at Ash with a glued smile on his face not to disrespect the new student.
He spoke. "Right, let's get you to your place. Come this way" he said and turned around in same spot with his back facing to Ash and walks on to the closed door until stopping in front, he grabs a hold of the doors handle feeling coldness running through him and pulls it open with some strength and enters inside a fancy room that looked like a hallway.
Ash gazed at the lemon haired boy for a moment as soon as he walked in and followed behind, holding onto a heavy back in his gripped hand, pulling it up with all his strength.
As soon as he stepped inside. A surprise shot all over his face as he gazed around the fancy room. Where he sees an expensive painting hanging on stuck to the wall. The carpet was so soft that sunk a little under Ash's feet than his own house and the room expanded was very big than any other school. While gazing by examine every detail of the building, which soon ended with a smile on his face. He continued on walking behind Clemont who was leading to an unknown destination which Ash didn't know about, but he was excited to know what it could be. It was like he was starting to enjoy this school rather than his own back home in kanto. He could still meet his friend when he's cured from this disease he is having right now. Om thought of that. It made him very down but scared from the mention of his heart which he only has one month to spare and he promised his mom with his own words and that will be his promise for the day.
Going past each, every room and wooden doors on each side that were closed which didn't know what could be inside.
Rusted, steel lockers at the very end of the hall. Clemont finally arrives at the place with Ash stopping beside him and looks up to see a double door that had a sign stuck on. Ash looked at the door for a couple of seconds then at Clemont who speaks out before him.
"First, you need to see the head office for a registration and then, you will be staying here." He informed.
Ash licked his bottom lips in one swoop, his tongue smothering dry skin, making it wet and said "right, but where will I stay?" he questioned, raising an eyebrow at the yellow haired boy.
Clemont chuckled shortly and placed his glasses. "Don't worry, the head teacher will give you a key for the dorm and you will be staying there for any time you like. By the way, I'll show you the class where you will be in. In fact, you are in my class and It's really great too." He said which brought a smile on the both boys.
"Thanks Clemont, and thanks you for the help" Ash said in gratefulness of the majority Clemont served.
"No problem." He continued by pointed at an open space near a trophy cabinet. "I'll be waiting there right at the door and we can start touring around the school." He said, receiving a nod from Ash. He turned his head and walks towards the door, leaving his rucksack behind while Clemont goes where he pointed.
Infront of a double door. Ash moves his arm and grips on to a handle, which felt chills run through his spine, feeling nervous kicking him as he thinks about the head teacher. Questions began filling his mind with different reason until he ignored them. He pushed by descending his arms and pushes the door open fully as a bright light shined down at him making his eyes blink for few times. Getting a clear view. He looked straight ahead of him and saw a tall man sitting down on comfy chair and looked up when the raven boy entered. A smile formed on his face at Ash; he was wearing a lab coat just like the one professor Oak but in small size. His facial had a short haired beard, narrowed face and curled hair with a loose strand falling off on forehead.
When Ash entered in. The head teacher spoke. "Ah, good afternoon, I guess you're the new student. I'm I correct." He said with a smile on his upward lips. Setting his eyes on the raven boy while doing work on paper, getting the correct answer.
Nodded, Ash spoke "yes I am, I was brought to you by Clemont and I hope I'm not too late or anything" Ash said in a desperate tone.
Shaking the head. The tall man spoke with a friendly accent. "No not at all, you're not late. You're just in time and please, call me Mr. Sycamore" he pointed at himself and continued. "And I guess you want the dorm key don't you" he said with a smile, receiving a nod as an answer.
"Right..." With that, he goes to the draw near him, grabs a handle and slides it open as his eyes scan inside until taking out something that made a quite jingle sound. "Here it is" he handed a shaped key from draws and gives it to Ash as he walks towards Sycamore, and takes it off his hand.
"Thanks" Ash said and puts the key inside his own pocket safely.
"You're welcome. Now before you go. I have a full report about your incident. Was your illness a chorical heart disease? If I'm correct"
Ash Nodded. "yes it is."
"Ah, Marvellous. Now before you go to your own rightful dorm. I would like you to head over to the nurse's depart where she will take examination of your heart. It will only take a while before you know it" he replied and smiled at the young raven boy since he was very taller than him.
Ash clearly heard all the entire sentence from Sycamores words. "Thank you and I will," he said and with that.
He walks away from Sycamore and steps out of the head teacher's room. when he was fully out, He closed the door after him and saw Clemont standing near a trophy cabinet and walk toward him.
"So are you ready." Clemont said. Standing infront of the raven boy.
Ash nodded in response again. "Let's go, but first we need to go to the nurse depart. Just for the check up" he said as his hand placed gently on his chest, above his heart that he could feel it beating through.
"Right, then I'll shall take you there. It only a couple walk that's all." Clemont told.
With that. The two teenage boys walk down to the nurse's department then to Ash's dorm. Where he will be staying for the night in a new school, and new life in Kalos.
However, little did Ash know as he starts walking down at the clear hallway to nurse's department. A tall teenage girl walks away in a normal pace to her own class, walking behind the raven boy who didn't even notice one bit nor even hear a sound.
The girl turned her head. Her cold sapphire eyes that looked emotionless glanced over her free shoulder at Ash walking away with Clemont in distance. She gazed at Ash only for a moment. However, she didn't feel anything towards him, nothing at all but only... heartless. Just one feeling that examined her full expression.
With one last look at the raven boy ahead in stretch distance, she scoffed away in a cold manner and began by walking down, along hallway to her next class.
-----
After Ash had his own check up in nurse's department which only took a minute by doing his heart rate which was not serious and last getting a medicine.
He steps out of the big room and closed the door after, carefully not to make a loud sound. When he was fully out, he looked up at Clemont who was waiting for the past minutes.
"I'm all done" Ash replied.
"Right then," he said with a nod. "Now, We shall go up to your dorm, its right this way." He motioned ahead, pointing at the right corner with no one around them.
Ash only gave a nod in response at him and the two boys now head to the dorm area. Well, Ash had to follow Clemont since he doesn't know the ways around this new school. The area on the inside of the building was much wider and more longer in each hallway.
As both boys where now at the quite dorms. Ash checked his dorm number labelled on his key and found it near by near the left-middle. Not to far away.
He finally arrived at single door and inserted his key in key hold. When he did, he twisted it until it was unlocked successfully and pushed it open as he steps in. Upon entering, switching the light on for better view. He eyes slid around, scanning the room which was more like his own, but even better.
There were pale walls, a double size cupboard went all the way till ceiling, a single neat bed which looks cozy to sleep for a full night. A work desk and a wide TV hanging on the wall.
Ash takes a couple of steps in the big room and his hazel eyes slid to window where he gazed at the whole view of Kalos region. It was speechless sight.
"Wow" was the words let out from Ash's gaped mouth. His eyes sight seeing the wonderful view through window. Until a voice spoke out that broke his view.
"Your lesson starts precisely at 8am." Clement spoke out of the blue making Ash turn to him.
"What about breakfast time"
"That will be early than your lesson" he continued. "Well, I should be going and I'll see you at class. Bye Ash" he waved at new student and walks off, stepping out of the dorms room and closed behind before shutting it completely with a click sound that rang across the room.
When the blond haired boy with glasses was out of sight. Ash sets his bag on soft bed, zipping it open revealing his piles of clothes and put them in his cupboard, one by one. Placing his tops on the hangers and trousers piled neatly on bottom. His pants and socks were putted in the sliding drawers and medicine that he got from the nurse was rested on desk.
When he was done with all the placement of his belongings. He changed his clothing to a fitted nightwear. Wearing a loose, white vest with a red, wide stripe that went vertically around the stomach, below chest. And blue shorts that ended till his knees.
The sky was turning fully dark as a full round moon rises above faded clouds, hanging in air. Streets began to get very quite as the school was switching every lights off through various windows.
Ash pulls the blanket up and puts his body in, feeling the softness against his backbone and legs shiver a little coldness which soon turned warm as Ash fully entered his body in bed with a full cover, covering his full body and his head resting on a mushy pillow, his eyes set upon on a plain, dark ceiling. Which they were slowly about to drift into sleep with one last glimpse of his room and finally slid his eyes, covering up the view of his hazel eyes with only darkness on his sight.
1 day gone, 29 days left
-----
In other dark room. There was a teenage girl lying herself on a single bed with a bed cover covering herself up except her head on soft pillow, in a side way position, her left arm against the bed. Her shining sapphires gazed out the dark window as thought raced around her brain with one sentence let out.
"Why do I have this feeling before, when I saw him?" She muttered under her breath. Exhaling and inhaling the clear air in her mouth down her lungs, as she too went into a silent sleep. Sliding her eyes shut and let the sleepiness take over.
